Hello everyone, My name is Matt and I am just one more of "those" that knows the importance of being ready for anything now a days. I have decided to move forward with my own self improvement in life I must learn to interact and meet people of my own mindset. Being a survivalist I tend to be more of a lone wolf like many others, however one may only progress so far in this world alone till you "stall out" and well I feel I am there. My largest focus in becoming a member on this site is in finding someone or more than one "friend" that shares my interest in self sufficiency and preparedness. I am a young buck of 27 this may and I have learned many skills and very useful information, but I feel I have stalled out on my own. So I am hoping to find a "friend" in whom we may learn and practice and share with others. Friendship to me takes on a very different meaning then it has today, I am more old school in my definition of a friend. To me a friend is someone that you share interests with and both parties can benefit from each others skills and knowledge! Being a friend is not something that is given it is something that is earned, just as respect is earned and not given!
