Combo shelter for long term

    A great set up foor long term would be a combo of a scout pit and a basha low to ground pit hold heat and be cool in heat and the low basha over pit would hide youand keep you dry in rain pit dug out and deeper give you room to work and store gearbe a great setup

    Yes that sort of setup can be good, but you need good drainage!

    a long term shelter would be similar to a Saxon house, dug several feet into the ground so that the roof line is quite low.
