Its good to have a bottle of painkillers whenever and wherever. They become crucial when one is prepping. I suffer from bouts of toothache from time to time and I remember one instance when I took a sip of tea in a restaurant. A sudden sharp pain made me to bolt from my seat without paying to look for a painkiller possibly disregarding traffic which means lack of one can have a fatal secondary effect.
I agree with you, I know people that do that. At my place the most common self medicated pain killer you will find with people is the drug called "paracetamol"
