okay, i'll start the ball rolling. having seen the second episode of the new series, 3 things spring to mind: 1. LEAVE YOUR PHONE AT HOME, TPTB can track you by it, and if its SHTF its just so much useless extra weight to carry. 2. GET OFF THE ROADS, the "hunters" are all in cars so they need roads, get off onto cycle paths, "green" lanes, bridle paths, droves and public footpaths, post SHTF roads are obvious "ambush" places anyway, get across country-you can use distant roads and electric pylons and other structures to navigate by, but stay off the roads, TPTB will close major roads in a martial law event so you will HAVE to stay off the roads,, so plan for it. 3. TRUST NO ONE, one pair on the run were "shopped" twice, once for £250, and the second time by someone who had given them a lift, for £500. post SHTF desperate people will attack you for whats in your pack, so be aware and alert.
When this finally comes to youtube I would like to see it. Problem with all these types of movie/series is that things are done to make the outcome the director wants. These are often stupid things, but also to be fair, there are many people that would make these stupid decisions. Not picking up the gun that is lying there or on the body in a holster is a classic & has us all shouting "pick up the bloody gun you moron!". Keith.
Change your outer clothing at busy people points often. and change your gait at the same time! and caps hats and hoodies need changing
its just a tv programme Keith, a 6 parter, with I think 10 "contestants", no guns, and operating under laws as they apply now. they have changed the rules for this the second series, and they all start from a central point, an empty warehouse in the middle of Birmingham in the centre of England, then they "escape" and fan out from there.
Greetings from prepper heaven, Mid Wales. I studied the program called hunted, the majority of captures take place because competitors are addicted to their mobiles or calling home from someone else's and being localised by triangulation of two or more cell towers. The hunters can then concentrate their resources and efforts to pick off a competitor They're currently filming the 3rd series. Statistically, the winners of this game are the ones who received a lot of help/accommodation from total strangers. It seems to be part of the British psyche that we support the underdog so only a couple of competitors have been reported. Any social media/print media campaigns that the hunters used were localised. The drone hunting is becoming an issue here in the UK as the population density and legal restrictions on where you can fly them precludes their use in most places.
