Thanks so much for sharing! I love learning about different places and how people live. Absolutely fascinating. The size of that trunk is amazing! Wouldn't fancy cutting that with a hand saw. Geez, we get it soooo easy nowadays. Yeah, mining was so hard in those days. How much it has changed. And the pay! It's a really good profession to be in now, the money is phenomenal and the conditions are pretty good too. Especially with all the Work Safety legislation (which I presume you have in US too, or something similar).
