Voting no longer works.

The political complexion of Virginia has changed by molding and manipulation of the voting regulations.

Virginians are governed from Richmond. Virginians are ruled from Fairfax County. Fairfax County has 3 Congressional Districts and a ~ 1.2 million population. The much smaller - but more politically powerful (nationally) is Arlington County. Arlington has ~ quarter million population and a Congressional District (includes Alexandria and a sliver of Fairfax).

Now, additional negative news: Most in Virginia DO NOT attend political-type meetings. Our own Forum Member, TexDanm, said to go to the meetings. I stopped because of the cost (parking is expensive in Richmond and Arlington) and the time - a full day and a half trip....and since only a few of us would attend - and we few did change some political views - with nil results.

Virginia's politicians are not idiots. They are Fabians. They are working their last phase. It is a rapid progression. Later, depending on the November election results, the Virginia Fabians could announce their new label.

At least Khrushchev was honest; "We will bury you".
