Thomas Sowell is a black intellectual. Believe now in California. He was born in North Carolina.

Not in article but his counterpart black intellectual is Walter Williams. Walter Wiliams is now in Northern Virginia and retired from George Mason Univ. He was born in a housing project in Philadelphia.

Mark Levin is the de facto replacement for Dr Michael Savage of SFO.

 

With all due respect, Pragmatist, saying Thomas Sowell is a Black intellectual is like saying Babe Ruth was a baseball player.

Dr. Thomas Sowell: He received a bachelor's degree, graduating magna cum laude[1] from Harvard University in 1958 and a master's degree from Columbia University in 1959. In 1968, he earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago.

I believe he retired a few years ago from Stanford University. He is a brilliant economist, and I would highly recommend watching every You Tube video you can find. I would put him in the same class as Milton Friedman; one of the greatest economists of our time. His story is one of hard work and monumental achievement. In some of his videos he calls out the victim mentality for what it is, a lame excuse.

Why aren't people like this or a Dr Ben Carson or a Walter Williams beacons for the Black community? They are true heroes for all of us.
