Alpha Males......alpha Females....

Got to reading this concerning Dr Jane Goodall..and her observations of chimpanzee behavior in Africa and reflected that in some ways it is not that different from many current human behaviors....

Think about this ...what Dr. Jane Goodall and others are saying about Alpha males in a group working for a goal in that group ....and what is going on in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, and other cities across this land....the goals...and attempts to dominate the social structure...often by default.
Deliberate chaos manufacturing....creating a bad guy on which to focus...in group think...herding...


I just found it interesting and began to think of it in the view of our political/social discord currently going on before the election...

There are also Alpha Female behaviors observed......and they too are interesting....By Dr. Jane Goodall and other observers of Chimpanzee behaviors......This too is interesting ....

The right to vote does in NO way distribute power to the people. The people of the USSR were required to vote. If you actually want votes to mean something, if you want deeds to physical property to have meaning, then the people must be armed.

In Chimpanzee behaviors.....the Alpha dominant male ...will often have the lesser males and females present their rears to the Alpha male to show submission to his authority or standing in the group.

I witnessed this some time after reading Dr. Jane Goodall's book on Chimp behavior she observed out in the wild...
I was at a zoo in Iceland and they had chimpanzees there..

Now....I had in my pocket a red delicious apple I'd kept from the Air Force chow hall earlier that morning...at the Keflavik NATO Air Base.


I came close to the cage and just poked it out visible for only an instant..and what I determined was the Alpha Male saw it...

He came down off his perch right in front of me to the bars and reached out his hand and opened his palm.....gimme...gimme gimme!!!!

Now what was so interesting in behaviors....was that the lesser chimps followed at a distance males and females both......came to the bars but first presented their behinds to the Alpha Male....

The Alpha Male touched them on their behinds with his knuckle and only then did they approach the bars and reach their hand out ...gimme gimme ...gimme...

I found this to be very very interesting behavior to witness...first hand.


Now ...today ....I have learned extensively from Dr. Jane Goodall...and when I am with a woman I particularly like........and in private.....

I am want to hold her to me tightly by the derriere...and whisper sweet nothings in her ear.....in particular I will sometimes tell her that I am living proof that evolution is not happening as I pat her on the proper place.!!!! Pardon the male crudity....!!

And now you know the rest of the story!!!!!

Alpha Males can be divided into two sorts in my experience. First and not actually a true alpha is a male that assume leadership totally through his size, strength and being more than willing to use violence to get his way. his rule will be strictly a rule of fear. The invention of the totally dependably revolver made this sort of thing a pretty short term trip from the leadership position to a shallow grave. This is also true in the animal kingdom. The Alpha male-only lasts as long as he is able to fight off challengers.

The human alpha though is a rather different thing. They just seem to radiate leadership and it makes people just want to listen to him or her and follow. This is often not the most physically intimidating person in the group at all. The thing about Alphas is their nature as leaders have little to do with whether they are good or NOT so good as people. The many terrible things that have befallen the world over the centuries have been the result of Alpha people that all too often were also psychotic and sadistic animals.

After things go just totally to pieces leaders are going to be a big advantage in putting back together with a better life. A group will always have a better short term survival chance than lone individuals BUT a leader can also become a tyrant. One of the notable places where and Alpha is different from a follower is that an Alpha is much more likely to make a move on a bad alpha. that is why an evil alpha always will quickly weed out the other alphas and most of the betas even to the point of doing away with the strong followers that put them in power.

One of the things that made the US successful for as long as it was is that in the establishment of our nation we were divided into many small groups with many leaders rather than a nation with one leader and all the rest followers. The many checks and balances set up in the ORIGINAL constitution prevented any one leader to become a tyrant. Both sides of our current government have been whittling away these protections for many decades. The Day that the United States of America becomes the Republic of America will be the last day that we will be truly free and safe people.

Our forefathers knew that the greatest threat to people is always their own government. We are on a precipice right now. Our current nation has a terminal illness that can't be treated or cured by easy or simple measures. The people here have become weak-minded and morally corrupt to the point where it is inevitable that eventually, soon more likely than not, they will elect the worlds next Adolph Hitler or worse. We have become like a family with two parents and 6 kids ranging in age from 6 to 16 that allows the kids an equal say in all decisions and makes all decisions by majority vote.

Many of the great leaders in History were not very large men. I suspect that at least in part a man of smaller stature has to be more dependent on his mind than brute force to get along in the world. It is usually pretty easy to get along if you are a head taller than most others and if you throw in twice as strong you don't have to struggle with things like bullies or being judged as inconsequential just because of your size. Leadership is about persuasive and often likability more than anything else. Good leaders are not even always the smartest people in a group. what they do is make good decisions and somehow get other people to do whatever it is that they do best without a lot of friction.

 

I'm no alpha male. None of the men in my family were particularly social at all. I had one uncle who was, but I think that it was only to make sales. If I had an alpha male who was trying to use me or bully me, I'd do my best to get him to trust me. I would try to establish a lasting, honest, and personal relationship. When he turned his back on me, I'd shoot him in the back of the head and blow his eyes out on his cheeks.

 

Napoleon was of normal stature. Whoever the painter was that depicted him as short had an axe to grind. When he was young, Napoleon's men loved him. He'd ride his horse right up to the front and put his life at risk just like his men did. Too, he didn't mind if his mean looted.

One benefit of being short is that it makes it easier for you to stab your opponents in the groin or anus. As a teenager, a high school instructor taught us these techniques (Lt. Col. retired, commands included special forces and armor, I loved the tank stories, my dad drove tanks during WWII). Colonel said that if you did this right, they couldn't scream and would bleed-out quickly. I'm not short. Never want to fight. I don't like being anywhere near men; my friends are women. The men in my family simply shot people; exception was my dad who always carried his blackjack, his chest was a tree-trunk, he beat men down. Gambling business, so it goes. Nothing odd about that.
