Problem with this one is two fold, no, three fold. 1) A new Justice WILL have to be nominated because there will be law suits from the election that will go all the way to the Supreme Court. 2) There's a few stupid RIONs holding out to confirm a new Justice. And 3), there's gonna be riots because of the Trump's name as you already know. Unreal.

Democrats in Congress have said that if Trump nominates a person to the Supreme Court who isn't to their liking (i.e. far enough to the Left), they will pack the courts with Democratic Socialists. This they will do should their Kamala become president. (Biden is brain-dead, reminds me of Brezhnev. I used to slap my knee laughing when the Soviets would roll that cadaver out to a podium.)

All of this anger and fighting is part of the coming shooting war in the former USA.

Me, I don't think that the Right or the Left will win by the end of it all. America, along with other Western nations, is going to collapse into chaos. Within my lifetime I expect to see military takeovers in most advanced Western nations. For starters, there will exist no economies based on current fiat currencies (those will die under the weight of their own debt, nothing needs to push them).

Barter economies will go on. Black markets are already 40% of Western economies -- the true economies, not the pretend (and these governments openly admit that this is true as they bemoan their inability to rape black markets via their tax laws; actually it is both rape and extortion).

Might makes right. Thus in the near future as has been the case throughout human history, Armies will come to power. The military will get the support of many Americans. Individual members of the military who have been part of the deep state will "go away". Armies who kill people and break things are the only real armies. Our futures will simply be the repetition of human history.

The childish hippie utopia dreams may come to fruition some day, however there will have to be a MAJOR shift in human genetics to allow that to happen. All centralized governments get taken over by the bad boys.

"Blue Checks Vow Violence If McConnell Tries to Replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg"

    https://www.breitbart.com/2020-elec...er-ginsburg-burn-the-entire-fking-thing-down/

This in no way shocks me or anybody else. We know that these sorts are unable to control their tendencies to aggression. I guess maybe some city bleeding-hearts are shocked about the rampaging, arson, and looting going on. Nobody else is shocked.

Let this country go hyper-violent. After the Great Society was enacted, the forces of violence and chaos were were given free-rein to evolve exponentially. This was totally foreseeable.

"Up in Smoke", once a funny Cheech and Chong movie, is now the destiny of urban areas all across Western nations.

Sure, "roach clips". We used to also use medical hemostats.

In high school, the educational one (not some school where you learned to get high ... wait a minute, that WAS one of the things I learned ... well actually, Jr. high), we used to knock two holes in Pringles' potato chip cans to make make-do bongs. The girls who were with us would cut the center out of the plastic lids to make bracelets. Girls would have stacks of these make-do plastic bracelets running up their arms. I used to take my old tank tops and tie-die them for my female friends; when not at school, female friends would just wear those tank tops (no bras back in those days; they'd wear old ripped jeans, no undies; it was just the way things were in those days). There were three hiking friends of mine (female), we'd hike up into the mountains to get high -- both in elevation and in recreation. Oh lord, we found the most beautiful waterfalls. This takes me back to the few days of paradise I was ever a party to. (Jr. high, first girl I kissed, killed herself in her 30's. To this day, I say prayers for her. I am praying for her tonight.)

At school we had 55 gal drums at each smoking area to throw away cigarette butts. Tobacco butts were tossed but the "not-tobacco" butts got smoked into oblivion. A joint butt is called the roach. Thus the name "roach clips".

I found a photo of a Pringles can bong, hurrah! This idiot is using a trumpet mouthpiece as the hotbox! Man, I'd have never done that. I played trumpet. A friend of mine played percussion. He lived, he made it. He / we also earned university degrees. F_ing miracles do happen. He was one of my dealer friends. They used to drop acid and whatever else. Some part of me didn't think he'd survive (others died or did time, sure enough). One fellow who got into heroin didn't make it (came from a rich family). His rich dad committed a murder and blamed it on him, his own son. Gosh, what a swell dad! A dealer friend told me that it was our friend's dad who strangled that pretty little girl (only age 14) and how he knew that this guy did the satanic deed; sickening all this. Our friend slipped out from underneath his father's accusations and the district attorney charged another person known well to our crew (good guy, bartender, a bit older than us but super young and INNOCENT of things satanic). The court found our friend not guilty. The real murderer was never charged. That killer dad held office in our town government. Untouchable.

So many went to prison, this former friend did; he'd get straight while doing time, then get out and go back to the needle, cycled in and out, over and over; then nobody heard from him. We knew what that meant.

Knew too many who killed themselves.

I've gotta do something else. Or just go to bed. This stuff is kinda sorta starting to mess with me. But there are good memories too I guess. Aren't there? Sure! Wish I had more of them. There were happy times.

And now Ruthy is gone. Too bad, so sad. Hey, it's Saturday, hurray!!!

That brings back a lot of memories. Remember using coke cans as pipes a lot. Easy to ditch. Loved when streaking became popular. Me and a cousin used to go down to Ohio state University and watch the girls streaking. Minnie skirts and tube tops. Now that was a combination.

I have to disagree about the future of this country. First and foremost, don't ever, EVER give credence to the enemy beyond with which they are capable. Let me explain. I'm reading here that by November 3rd things will light up like a blunt. There will undoubtedly be riots as was before when Trump was sworn in. Rest assured the national guard will put an end to most of it right quick and hall ass' to jail. I have my own ideas on how to handle these people, but I won't get into it now.

Now about this bit on the left or the right won't win. Not true. In fact, it's not a left or right issue at all. It's a radical left versus common sense, sense of patriotism issue. There's a whole hell of a lot of people out there that do support Trump, right, left and independent. Many of the left have gone right in support of Trump. If it should come to be with another civil or revolutionary war it will be patriotism that overcomes the far-left radicals. Many people in this country just want a job and live the American dream and not have their rights being abridged by either shit head far-left radicals who are rioting, or shit head government politicians who are corrupt. The core reason to this war will be to go back to the framework of the fought and died for U.S. Constitution. Back to what it used to be. As of right now the government is like the mob, and that shit needs to end right quick. And it may happen come hell or high water. Didn't Jefferson say something about patriots, blood and a tree? Remember, the founding fathers knew all about this stuff. Read about them, read why the Constitution was written the way it is. Understand how it was in large part copied to an extant the world over. A military decree? Military governance? I highly, highly doubt it. At this point y0u just pulled a Stalin or Charmin Mao and good minded American folks know it and won't allow it to happen.

Now should our government deploy the military against its citizenry. Let me tell you a little something called logistics. The tanks, planes, helicopters, ammunition and bombs are all, ALL manufactured by your neighbor. When the stockpile dries up that's it. And guess what? Fighting an insurgency, house to house fighting is a royal bitch. Never mind there's at least two guns for every citizen for a total of at least 660 million guns. Have fun with that massive shit storm. That's precisely why crony politicians want to take out the 2nd amendment so there's absolute control. This is exactly why Venezuela is in the state its in now. The people had no 2nd amendment. Can you even imagine if they had? o_O. Now think back to Nazi Germany as well. Think really hard. The American people won't allow it. That's why the Founders made this right to bear arms the 2nd. Not the 5th, not the 10th, the 2nd. That's how damn, damn important it is.

Now about currency. Capitalism is in fact a double edged sword. On one side it brings scores upon scores of people out of poverty and offers an abundance of opportunity beyond all that the world has seen since the time of hunters and gathers let me tell you. But on the other side it has its draw backs due to greed and power. This has been engraved in us humans since Cain. It's a fact of life. How's it go? Absolute power corrupts absolutely? FFS, just look at the Land Cruiser war or some other "shit hole" country. Now I have to tell you that fiat currency will die off as part of an ever increasing sophisticated society. That's just how it goes. At one time you had gold pieces, silver pieces, tulips, you freaking name it. Then it went centralized and morphed into plastic and then that plastic got a microchip. Now the future will probably be based in the block chain pertaining to cryptocurrency. It's not centralized, you don't need something to back it up besides math, and as of right not the IRS has their mitts in it for tax collection. Just like ol' Franklin once said. Something about death and taxers even though fiat currency has changed over time. Did I mention that the Founding Fathers knew all about this stuff from its core principals based on civilizations of the past?

About the constitution. There really needs to be a constitutional convention for at least three more amendments.

    28) Terms limits will be imposed to all branches of the government. (I'll skip the particulars)

    29) "Earmarks" are now banned for all bills.

    30) Lobbying of congress is hereby banned.

That's the basics. I'm not a lawyer to craft this stuff in legal context.

Doing this would take care of an enormous amount of debt issues right quick let me tell you.

Now the crux of this left-wing radical issue. It stems from Congress all the way down to public and higher education. How you teach the young will dictate how your future is built. Look at California's God awful school system for crying out loud. Is it any wonder they are so blue? This brain washing is why the middle east is a shit hole. They do teach radical Islam at a very young age and before you know it you have your own little suicide bomber. In order to change the status quo here or over there will have to be from an educational perspective. That's the ONLY way.

To make this post even longer. From the perspective of the politician. It realy is a trickle down effect so to speak. They pass one bill after another with boat loads of earmarks not even having anything to do with the merits of the bill and as a consequence the national debt grows and grows to Roman empire collapse possibility. Now what does this have to do with Joe working man? Inflation for one. Now both parents have to work. No more dinner as a family at the table at 6. Kid's have quasi parents called daycare. The family structure is now gone. Divorce is possible, fatherless boys take up crime, etc. Our policy makers working hard for you, and here they sit on stacks of money and enjoy the high life. Was never supposed to be this way. The Founding Fathers are rolling in the graves. Again, government is like a mob anymore. You and I know it as well as your neighbor and a good amount of the people you see every day in public that will pull the lever come November 3rd. Oh wait, mail in a ballot...

There will be riots, but be leary of the evil one as they all tend to destroy themselves. It is universal law. Just like the mass to energy equivalence. It just is.

ALL of school to me was a waste of time. And I saw the indoctrination first hand. I really required one on one teaching. Not being shoved in a classroom full of some 35 other morons many of whom could give two shits less.

Dropped out of high school my sophomore year to push a mop at a plastic injection molding company. Thought my life sucked so went to Job Corp. First got my GED and then high school diploma. Never have stepped foot in a college or university. However, thinking about taking up cybersecurity, but the Linux terminal can be a royal PITA. sudo this, sudo that, I don't understand how IT people remember simple long stings of command to do something like update a LAMP stack without reference material. I learned that right quick. I also wanted to learn C++, but learned right quick I needed to own the damn book I checked out at the library. LOL Though, now that I've owned a computer (many and this one is a custom build) all this information is online and it's where I've learned the most. I spend at least 15 hours a day on my computer. I know, bad.

    Addendum:

The only, and I mean the ONLY thing great about my high school were the nice looking ladies. And I fell in love with this all American beautiful blonde cheerleader. Oh my gawd was she gorgeous. :D "Cupid, draw back your bow, and let your arrow goooo..." ♫♪♫♪

    Good morning F22,

Real good. My 99.4% concurrance (in general).

The 99.4 will go higher - if - you'll consider using an umbrella term rather than "Nationa Guard" as in para 1. Others, besides the Guard, are working the matter.

Several weeks ago, I was absent from the Forum for about a week and a half - forgot exact amount. I had a Fed assignment to help do something. My absence was recognized by Sourdough and he wrote asking if I'm OK. Varuna missed my absence.

Since 1967 and continuously and currently at my old age, still helping protect the nation.

Without appearing negative on the Guard, ...... In the 1950s, there was a radio public service ad: "Sleep well tonight. Your National Guard is awake".

    ......

I graduated from HS in 1965. The nonsense my daughter went through was geometricly more than what I had to endure. The public schools morphed into a combination jobs program and a place for opinion-molding of the kids. Fortunately, we supplemented my daughter's "education" with real education.

It is my hope that the quality people living in America have the fight left in them. In Southern Appalachia and much of the southeastern US, plus add the breadbasket states, you still have fighters willing to take up arms and kill the enemy.

The frightening thing to me is how much of America has gone soft. I see oceans of weaklings, men who are unwilling to kill, unwilling to die, for sacred Liberty. One must be able to look death in the face and keep on going. I look out and see only people who are willing to compromise -- totally saddening to me. For sacred matters, one stands and fights to the death, yours or theirs.

It has been heartening to me to see people -- millions upon millions -- buying up firearms. We can train the novitiates on our side of the fight (used to have my training certificates, let them lapse). Just owning a bang-bang thing is meaningless -- one must continually practice and go through hundreds of rounds of ammo to get to be decent.

Leftist milquetoast firearms owners are useless were they to go aggressive against people who respect the Constitution. These weak lemmings, even if armed, are useless in defending their own properties against the peaceful looters and arsonists -- who ostensibly are political allies o_O. This reality is a good thing for those who love Liberty over security.

America has degraded so far that it troubles me mightily.

Allow me to begin with Ben Franklin's quote, "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." Franklin wrote that in some letter on behalf of some council concerning some specific matter. Limp-wristed Anti-American university professors wring their hands over Ben Franklin's intent. Professors and all other limp-wrists are not men and do not have the capability of becoming men -- they are small humans who compromise, thus are inferiors. The strong women I've known throughout my life made/make for honorable men. My dad's mom would put a revolver round in you -- so would my wife (she met me at the door one night with a loaded rifle; she had gotten a phone death threat from a psych case that night).

Rest assured that Ben Franklin and the other Founding Fathers of the USA believed to the core of their being that, "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." These men killed the elite and the sycophants who follow the elite. Every so often you have to do this when the collectivist cancer begins growing. It takes a sturdy people to accomplish this task. Hopefully we have tens of millions to accomplish this.

    Good afternoon Old Geezer,

Our country and our world has changed.

Liberty to many younger Americans means a career type job with a retirement package, "free" health care and paid vacations and maternity leave. Tavarish Bernie Sanders followers, the "Occupy Wall Street" philosophy crowd can best explain the new definition of "liberty".

Virginia's Appalachia is rapidly changing from rural/agricultural to surburban. This is both governmental induced and better living conditions than the coastal areas with poor schools, high crime, and increasing taxes. Much of the W-2 form work is governmental or indirect-government. Recently a Virginia Beach hospital corporation purchased 3 Virginia Appalachia hospitals for rehab/enhancement. This is an indicator.

Private citizen firearms are being phased out. I don't follow this political subject but it's a big topic here.

    Speaking of Virginia Appalachia ......

"Virginians are governed from Richmond. Virginians are ruled from Fairfax County." Forgot who said this.

    The nation has changed.

"Virginia's Appalachia is rapidly changing from rural/agricultural to suburban."

No. Many who relocate to the Shenandoah valley are escaping the peaceful arson and looting going on in Richmond. ONLY the sheeple herds in NE Virginia vote Socialist. These folk work in the D.C. Borg.

Shenandoah Valley west to West Virginia along with all of southwest Virginia are a part of West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, NE Tennessee, and Western North Carolina. When Governor Blackface of VA began the ban on semi-automatics, 95 county sheriffs rebelled and said that they would create safe havens for firearms owners, some of these sheriffs said that they would deputize the owners of semiautomatic rifles. War has begun in Virginia. To me, Virginia has always seemed to be a Northern state to me. So glad to see so many true Americans willing to go to war against socialism. Many of the "private citizens" carrying their rifles to this protest are Virginia National Guard. Should Gov. Blackface call out the Guard, he might mightily regret doing so.

    Good morning Old Geezer,

Headnote: My use of word "rapidly" is institutionally speaking. In a generation, using about 20 years (because of immigrant births in late teen years), the complexion of Appalachia will have only minor agricultural activity.

Old Geezer, I'm writing from the area where much of this is going on. Those 95 sheriffs have only venue budgets and restrictions they and their deputies can do out of their venue and jurisdiction. Much, much, much is now state or Federal jurisdiction. To deputize a private citizen has requirements. I was selected to take the local sheriff's 8 week citizen's course. It was great but could see the problems.

The Northern Virginia Autonomous Oblast vote and contribute $ to socialist-type programs. South of here, Hampton Roads, the largest standard metropolital metro area between greater Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, is a military pay check or a military retirement DFAS check. Richmond is a welfare check, "free" health clinics and "free" housing. The suburbs have the tax payers.

Virginia is relatively well set up. The Navy Norfolk - D.C. corridor (actually from USCG Elizabeth City, North Carolina to Ft Mead, Maryland) is a close to state of the art garrison. It's just not visible to the dumbed-down public.

    Part the Second;

I didn't touch any button. Don't know how above got transmitted.

There are no longer that many Americans who are "anti-socialist". The younger generations do not demand FDR's "Four Freedoms". They want 4 cases of brew and 4 bags of Dorito chips.

The pictures show a somewhat decent citizenry ... although many viewers are "not comfortable" with seeing firearms and military type gear ...... but these same somewhat decent citizens don't participate in politics or even attend local governmental meetings.

    The results are in.

    The results are not in.

My dad was a professional gambler. Even when I was a child, dear old Dad taught me odds-making. My dad could look a man in the face and burn holes through that man's eyes back into the rear of his skull. Men in-the-know left my dad alone. Let's just say that Dad was "a teacher".

Me, I made straight A's in analytic geometry and calculus ... plus statistics (graduated summa cum laude undergrad, did better in grad school). I was in Quality Control for 20 years. One of my undergrad degrees was Psych (I'd already taken a bunch of Psych courses, why not make another major out of it?, so I did). I've even worked a small while in psych in addition to the clinical practicum (hellish job, don't do it unless you have to do so, or you are infinitely curious).

Of recent years, I have attended the local town meetings. One night, small town, over 150 gun owners (backed out into the hallways) confronted a town council. The town council showed fear. They should have shown fear.

I'm at the rifle ranges, a lot. I analyze the people there. I go to several gun shows per year. I watch and learn. I watch the people. I pay attention to what they are buying and extrapolate to their abilities and intent.

The further south you go, the deeper the conservatism and the deeper the willingness to go to war. And, I travel.

    Hell is coming.

Picked up a second one of these over the weekend.....and though it came with two magazines..I also picked up extra mags for it. Wow Mags can be expensive!!

Though I like and prefer wheel guns ...someone sold me my first one some time back as they needed cash. This one is a spare.

I liked it being .40 Caliber ....versus the 9mm.

Have rolled about 700 rounds for the first one and put them back.

Have some 500 rounds of new brass put back for it.

Hoping to get in time to mount the glass on my new Ruger Precision Rifle....as my bubble levels have arrived.

I hate the very idea of Ishmaelite two legged wildlife run amok across this land between now and the election. It seems that in their "Entitlement" all they have is chaos manufacturing and the blame game...

And now on top of all that ..this Ginsburg business....to amplify this manufactured chaos.

Insanity bordering on anarchy across this land..

I read that Trump may(?) have narrowed the field of SprmCrt nominees down to two people.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tr...be-amy-coney-barrett-or-barbara-lagoa-reports

Judge Amy Coney Barrett is seen in a 2017 photo:

"Barrett, 48, a judge with the Chicago-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, is a conservative, pro-life Roman Catholic who clerked for late Justice Antonin Scalia after she graduated from law school.

"The New Orleans native was appointed by Trump to the Seventh Circuit in 2017. She previously taught law at the University of Notre Dame for 15 years but had no judicial record at the time, according to the Washington Post.

"She believes in originalism, the idea that judges should interpret the Constitution as the Founding Fathers intended."

"The Miami native was nominated in 2006 by then-Gov. Jeb Bush to Florida’s 3rd District Court of Appeals, where she served for more than a decade before being elevated briefly to the state’s Supreme Court. Last year, Trump nominated her to the Atlanta-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and she was easily confirmed, according to USA Today.

"Lagoa is a member of the conservative Federalist Society and is backed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis but some have questioned her conservative credentials, especially on abortion, according to Politico.

"She’s also a Roman Catholic and of Cuban descent, which could help Trump in November."

The Social Democrats have promised to pack he court with anti-Constitution justices should Trump appoint and get confirmed a pro-Constitution Justice. We'll see how this national war goes. There are stacks upon stacks of variables.

The Supreme Court issue has certainly raised the heat. The national anger level has reached the point where shootings are occurring. I guess one could call this "Very Hot". Next will come "Fury" with hundreds killed per month -- that is likely to occur after the election. The war will proceed on beyond Fury -- which I'd say won't happen until 2021, yet I could be way-off in timing. I mean, I was shocked that the commies came out of the closet and started burning cities here in 2020.
