I got this while surfing and it came to me though I have been thinking along this line for some time.....particularly in view of the coming out of todays investment in Chaos and all the baggage coming with it...

    Here .this link...

    https://www.tactical-life.com/news/m...-police-crime/

Once again...my view is that you have to become educated to become this giftedly stupid and proud of it.

Was and have been thinking the same about ANTIFA and BLM...that they are proof that Evolution is not happening......

Going to be watching the web and news..for more indications to support my concept that Evolution is not happening...devolution is happening....someone out here not wanting to be seen or known...is investing in Chaos.....devolution....to keep and maintain their power and control over this people and or nation....investing in non Evolution.....De Evolution...Devolution. Investing in Two Legged Wildlife...

And their goal over the long run is Ishmaelite Bondage....The State is god...devolution.

If the members find more on their surfing the web...please post on this thread...thank you!!

There have been articles published concerning humans devolving. I might skim some article like that, but I feel that I need not.

To me, it is utterly in-your-face that humans are being dumbed-down. For starters, sanitary conditions and medical treatments are assuring that the weak survive to at least reproductive age, even beyond ... for decades. Weak bodies and weak brains go hand in hand. Don't bring artists into the discussion, their creativity was/is often due to CNS short-circuits. Medically, watch the C-sections go up -- pelvic anomalies preventing child-birth are now genetically passed-on due to C-sections. In centuries past, you were both strong and smart or didn't make it. Not particularly difficult to understand. Does anyone imagine farm work being stupid or for the weak -- especially when all of the modern-day equipment was utterly unavailable?! You were industrious or your children died.

The devolution of education has much to do with the massive dumb-down of our younger generations in this day and age. Educators must in this sick age pass ALL students, it would appear. Everybody gets to go to university. When I was at university, there were ZERO qualms on the part of professors and administration to fail you. Behind you stood 20 people attempting to get in. In electronics, half the folk with whom I began were flunked-out . We were told as beginning students that they were going to cull 50% of us -- the whole "look to your left, look to your right, ..." riot act. Universities today have to have enormous remedial education staffs to get students to pass dumbed-down university degree programs. Witness all of the "underwater basket-weaving" courses. Blow in the ear of today's "intellectuals" and their heads will roar like an empty jug.

Yet it isn't all just the fault of education. We now have wiggling gray oceans of bumbling brains. And it is their lack of adequate DNA code that puts them to harm. Do consider this paradigm to be bearer of exorbitant death counts of upcoming SHTF events. These dens of dolts are without improvisation to circumstance. Darkly amusing in everyday life this, but come the tests, and they will perish.

Read the letters written by soldiers during the Civil War. Note the penmanship -- really fine. But beyond that, note how incisive and keen their observations. Truly spectacular. Today's pathetic telegram-speak texting most assuredly does not exercise the muscles of the mind. Praise God that my mind was put to the test at work, in weekly discussion circles, and in the expected exchange of written letters. Envelopes with stamps, remember them? I'd go to the post office and buy the prettiest stamps I could find. I deeply miss those trips to the post office. For letters to some, I had my my wax seal for the envelope. There did in the day exist great expectations.

One of the big problems is the idea that someone that has never had a real job in their life is the best person to educate kids and prepare them to go out and work. Have you ever LOOKED at the crap that kids are required to take to get any sort of degree? Most of what they are required to take will offer that kid no preparation to do anything. Originally school systems were set up in stages. first kids had to learn the basics that all people need to succeed. Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. you are then offered a higher level of the same along with a little history, Geography, and some life skill type classes like cooking, Home economics, and the various shop classes. Higher education was supposed to be finely focused on a specific subject with the intention of preparing a lid to go out and do a certain type of work.

It reached the point where I live that you had kids graduating from High School that were functionally illiterate. Now you have people coming out of college that have been taught to never think and that all of life is about some sort of unwritten rules. We put these well-educated idiots in charge of things and then watch proudly as they turn once-profitable companies into hopeless messes.

For example, A person with a college degree is NOT automatically the best person to run a machine shop. I had one of these educated idiots tell me to do what the damn blueprint said that it was made by someone a hell of a lot better educated than me. I smiled and went out. Later I brought him a bag of metal shavings and the blueprint that I had tried to question earlier. I smiled and told him that I was done and this was what was left of that 50,000 dollar inconel forging. He FREAKED. "What do you mean that is all that's left????" I patiently explained that this is what you have left when the inside of something is bigger than the outside. I tred o tll him that earlier but well I don't have a degree so am to stupid to understand and so just did what the print said. I showed it to him before but he was too busy telling me how stupid I was to look.

my only regret is that I had only roughted out the piece and left proof marks to show that I had not taken any more off than I had to to clean it up a rough it out. I let him piss all over himself and start to wale that they would fire both of us before I let him off the hook. I will admit that he didn't even try to take credit for the ctch and after that he was a lot better about listening.

Industry has for a good long while now valued community college technical degrees over university degrees. I've witnessed this phenomenon dozens and dozens of times: person gets out of the military with a skill, uses military education funds to go to tech school, company hires him (military work experience is valued + tech 2-yr degree), while working at company uses company money to attend more school, gets 4-yr degree (xfer of college credits helps), gets promoted, doesn't get laid-off when the lay-offs happen, builds up work experience, person continually becomes more and more valuable. Hire them and they can immediately step in and go to work -- even bring in new ideas $$$$.

    Wow....

Yes....yes indeed...I had a set of those and for the same reasons....letters to some....special some.

LOL LOL LOL Texdanm...I've been in those shoes myself.....

I remember doing a hydraulic flush on a submarine system and the engineer telling me that the muslin bags wherein we captured the dirt and foreign material from the system under flush....you could tell how clean the system was by changing out the bags in a duplex strainer....

The engineer told us you can have a filthy bag and the system could be clean.....

We were astonished....and wondered what this fellow had been smoking..

Inconel....wow...that is not your standard metal...

One of the fancy blends of stainless corrosion resistant high temp if I recall....and yes...definitely cha.....ching!!!!!! $$$$$$$$!!!!!

TF, I had a similar experience with an "EDucated Engineer". I was lowly field tech and was assigned to install a "Prototype" Stainless Steel media filter screen, The screen was a circular 12' by 12' tube. The problem was the filter screen was not properly braced and acted like a big bowl of jello. I could not center the screen in the hot gas chamber. Every time I tried to shim the screen to center it, the screen would lean out of alignment. When I reported this to my boss, he reported it to the Engineer, who promptly claimed the screen did not need any more bracing and like a egg shell, it would be able to handle the pressure. Long story short, the screen lasted less then 40 hours of operation before it was crushed. The company had to reduce the work force (almost everybody) and go back to the government for more money. Sometimes being right is costly.

    Good morning Watcherchris,

    Per request of 12:56 PM mentioned above;

If related ... I think so:

In the July-August 202, Vol 49, Number 7/8 pulp issue of IMPRIMIS, pub of Hillsdale College, (imprimis@hillsdale,edu or call 800/437-2268 for a no-cost subscription), is an article titled:

"American Sports Are Letting Down America" by Jason Whitlock of Outkick.com.

I tie above Hillsdale article to your above "someone out there ... investing in Chaos ... devolution ... to keep ... power over a nation".

An excerpt from the Hillsdale article:

[American sports] "have never been more influential, they've also been more vulnerable to foreign influence. Their partnership with global brands and their desire to build global audiences has given foreign countries a pathway to manipulate American sports and culture.

    ...

"Look at how China with it's 1.4 billion consumers, rules the National Basketball Association and it's de facto parent company, Nike, the same way it rules Hollywood. ... "

Working for international but here in USA. Recruiting trips to major universities to hire work-study youth (half-year industry / half-year school, cycling for two years, upon graduation we might hire). We find us another wunderkind.

Some actually worked out fine. However ...

One "genius" we hired (this wasn't the only "genius" I've seen, man-oh-man have I ever tripped over "geniuses") couldn't insert his finger into the distal end of his alimentary canal with a road map and a jar of Vaseline. Could he code? Oh yeah. Anything productive? Oh no. Started a project -- think "Travel to Planet X". Marketing sez, "Make us one of those!" Now think, Space Shuttle Challenger. Now think, what if he'd actually come up with something ... who'd have supported it? Could he work with others? No. Where will he be 3 mo. from now? Back at university making straight A's. Gee thanks, Marketing! What cluster-fun!

I am unable to begin writing about this geek-without-gyroscope. Spazzoboy needed a psych-nurse-navigator handcuffed to him and nope, he didn't have one. Couldn't efficiently order lunch at a deli we frequented. Seen him order two lunches and simply not eat one of them. How is this possible? Good question. On occasion, I would just stare at him. I took no clinical notes.

I gave up on human's at about age 12, when I realized we were going backwards from full intelligence but were calling it education.

What is the number of people that could walk off into a wilderness and live, NOW? If 1% of the population I would be surprised.

Knowledge/education can be bought/purchased. Wisdom must be earned and the understanding of the difference of the two, is inspiring.

    Good morning Dale,

I previously used 2 -3 % of a population evacuating to a wilderness and surviving - IF - the evacuees are with an experienced leadership component.

Otherwise, ~ 99% are neutrients for the ground's pH level.

    ......

The WWII eastern European partisans were mostly city dwellers with a strong leadership THRIVING in wilderness locations. Urban living in those times was not the same as today's. Although the WWII suffering was from combat events, the actual living; shelter, health care, education, one partisan camp ran 2 (Two !) theaters with weekly performances for the returning from patrol fighters, ...... it was a long-term camping type event incorporating life-cycle events such as celebrations on a birth, a marriage, funeral arrangements, etc.

Today, the bodies will be worse habitat for mosquitos than an old tire with water pool in it.

    could be a long list.
anything that changes the way people live to something that they have no experience of.
    EMP/Solar Storm.
    Meteor.
    Nuclear War.
Nuclear power plant explosion-Chernobyl, Japan, 3 mile island.
Pandemic, Black Death, Foot and Mouth.
anything that stops food being grown on a commercial basis, drought, flood, pests, diseases.
No bees and other pollinating insects.
    Tsunami.
    Landslides/Mudslides.
    Climate Change.
    Overpopulation.
    Collapse of the supply chain.
melting of the ice caps, flooding oceans with cool fresh water diluting the sea water, we lose the Gulf Stream, new Ice Age.
eventually Society itself will collapse. mains services, gas, electric water and sewage supplies will all collapse, the British NHS will be overwhelmed. shops will be looted, trashed and burnt to the ground.
disease, violence, starvation, dehydration and subsequent death of many.
not all will occur but enough to tip the balance, never has human existence been on such a knife edge as it is now and most of it is due to human activity.
I have personally never been too concerned about the actual event or events, nothing I can do about them, I prepare so that I and mine can survive the new "normal" that comes afterwards.

TIME! and human nature. We can't help ourselves.

War. Something to do with war is my number 1 pick.

Sex. My number 2. A STD worse than AIDS that sterilizes one side of the sexes but doesn't present medically for many years. That would do it.

Food. Self explanatory and also goes with #1.

Water. Drinkable water should be the most precious substance on the planet, but it's not. When the supply of unpolluted drinking water is almost gone, the war for what's left will be a nasty one.

That's just my top 4 picks. I won't bother listing all the possibilities as I like Lonewolf's list.

    Good morning all,

I'm adding mosquitoes to the list.

Even in """good""" times, the mosquito is the human's main natural predator. When people are not buried properly, when dead animals are around, when stagnant water is all over the place, ...... and I'm addressing just mosquitoes that haven't been weaponized.

Nature is the main threat to us, virus, some rampant bacteria sort of thing. Major meteor strike would be a bad way to go, won't kill that many people but will kill the crops etc, we all slowly starve to death.

That said this figure of 99% kill off is still too high bar a massive nuclear war on a massive scale and global fall out IMO.

We're on the brink for sure of a major change in the balance of life's scales thats for sure; we've had it comparatively easy since 1945 so the brown stuff is due to hit the fan, its just its direction we're not sure of just now.

There hasn't been any such thing as unpoluted drinking water for decades.

A meteor or super volcano could be an extinction event, apart from them I see pollution, pandemic and climate change as the greatest risks to mankind. What really burns me up is that whatever the cause, it will almost certainly be self inflicted.

I remember watching a river BURN as a kid. The water in the US is pretty good now by comparison. What happens when the water isn't drinkable even with treatment? A few years ago here in WV a chemical spill made the water completely unusable for more than a month in a couple counties. The government had water trucked in for 100's of thousands of people. What happens when there is none to truck in?

    Good afternoon Ystranc,

It's clear enough that we're all not using the same definitions.

Polluted water and unpolluted water are obviously a clear example of this as used here at Forum.

I draw a distinction between the words polluted and drinkable. There are so many ways in which we have effected our rivers. Even changing the PH (acidity) slightly can wipe out most of the life in a river so just imagine what living down river of a DoPont factory does to an ecosystem.
As a species we pollute and consume.

I'll go with that, none of them will be overnight events, it will take some years to finish us off, maybe not in our lifetimes but certainly the grand children are set to inherit a dirty kennel.

I was drinking water in Scotland a couple of weeks ago straight from mountain streams, don't know how polluted it was but it tasted good :)

    EMP/Solar Storm.

EMP and Solar Storm are 2 very distinct event. With the former is human made. While the latter happen CONTINUOUSLY without you even know about it. And neither killed human.

    Meteor.

IF the rock or compressed interstellar dust (comet) hitting your location or went airburst anywhere within your proximity it doesn't matter how well you prep or what skills you have, you will end up DEAD. Nut only those within the vicinity of the blast. If its big enough than it might create planet wide environment catastrophe, but looking from all the fossil & geological records life on Earth adapt to the chaning environment and life goes on. Otherwise neither of us will be here talking about it doesn't it?

    Nuclear War.

There isn't enough nuclear FirE PaWar to wipe out even 80% of humanity. Moreover mother nature had crank out far larger energetic release in varieties of natural disaster within written history.

Nuclear power plant explosion-Chernobyl, Japan, 3 mile island.

And yet we human species still here after all those right? B
TW Nuclear reactor can't blew up by runaway nuclear chain reaction. It takes weapon grade fissile material + highly control condition to trigger any nuclear detonation.

Pandemic, Black Death, Foot and Mouth.

Let see. Bubonic plagues, all kind of flu's (including Spanish flu). And yet here we are still.

No bees and other pollinating insects.

Insects along with other less complex organism are far... far... more resilient than human being.

    Tsunami.
    Landslides/Mudslides.

And yet here I'm still here breathing

    Climate Change.

    We all still here right?

    Overpopulation.

Subjective term. In fact the rate of birth worldwide is actually declining

    Collapse of the supply chain.

Are man made and within control of human species.

melting of the ice caps, flooding oceans with cool fresh water diluting the sea water, we lose the Gulf Stream, new Ice Age.

melting of ice caps & new ice age in the same sentence?! Seriously which is it?
Oceaan current along with jet stream are caused (mostly) by Earth rotation (Coriolis effect)

While we are discussing the end of the human race here, let's not forget that regional catastrophe will often be what does us in individually.
    Will the human race survive?
Of course, short of a planet destroying event humans will live.
But we prepare so that we are one of those ones who live.
It's all good to be dismissive of people's opinions of what can bring death but do we stop and really think down the path before being dismissive?
As a random pick from the above scenarios - volcanoes. Sure we won't all die in fiery ash filled hell instantly. But does the name "The Year Without a Summer" bring up any questions. Again humans will live as a species but there will be a horrific famine. Personally - starving to death is not on my to do list.

Nuclear war for another scenario. Again no instant fiery doom for ever single human. But nuclear war has the potential to be more personal. I live 100km from the largest Airforce base in Atlantic Canada. If someone decides that place needs to become a glow in the dark car park, it will have no effect on someone like Lonewolf in the UK but S just HTF in my personal survivalist way. So nuclear war can't just be dismissed as something that won't affect you. There is always a possibility. And take it further...what does all that death and fallout from a nuclear war do to that human controlled supply chain? How goes those wheat fields?

There are so many permutations and possibilities that things can't just be dismissed.
The next disaster on TV could be personal to you at least.

After Chernobyl we had sheep in the UK not fit for human consumption for a few years, that came from one event, lets imagine an exchange of 100+ nukes and think of the far off and far changing impact that would have on a global scale, not just from radiation but also the ensuing nuclear winter.

The thing you have to understand about evolution is that it goes both ways. Thousands of species became too specialized and when things changed they died out. The West is in a state of massive de-evolution. It is simple. People with low IQs tend to have almost three times as many kids as those with a higher than average intelligence. This like anything of its kind can't be applied to individuals but when looked at in mass it is true. We have more people on welfare every year no matter what the economy is doing. We desperately NEED the Mexican illegal aliens because the American poor wouldn't take a job if you tried to give it to them. If not for the Hispanic aliens our crops might rot in the fields and from what I read the meatpacking industry would be out of luck.

If we wish for our kids to survive we are eventually going to have to stop this insanity. We have a fast-growing minority of people of many races that are just too stupid to hold down a job. This isn' all their fault. The jobs that these people did in the past have been taken over by mechanization and computerization. So we put them on welfare and pay them to have more and more kids because each kid gets them a raise. Most of these kids don't get a lot of encouragement or help and so follow in their parent's footsteps. It is not uncommon to have three generations of a family in prison at the same time. That is what happens when you are raised in the drug culture and start having kids when you are 14 to 16.

Until those on top end of our culture demand that those that won't or can't work stop having kids that they can't even start to support we as a people are going to slide downhill faster with each generation. In my opinion, the possibility of the US having some sort of civil violence is our only hope. When the freerides stop TSTL will take over. Man is kidding himself that we are somehow exempt from the real rules...Survival of the fittest and the sad fact that some people will just be TSTL To Stupid To Live!

PS: I don't think that survival is going to be much of a problem for people that are willing to think, work, and fight for their right to live. I am old but am not in the least worried about me or my families survival. Those that are prepared will live and those that expect someone else to do it for them will die.

whatever it is that is the catalyst it will probably be man made (humans are very good at messing things up) with maybe some natural elements, humans -especially those western nations- have become too specialised and a lot of the old skills and knowledge have been lost and we are losing more every day as they become old fashioned and not required by the masses.
most people rely on the supply chain to furnish their every need and once that collapses they are done for, people dont realise that they are relying on others for their daily survival but that in essence is what they are doing, some/most have no knowledge of the "just in time" delivery system and only realise it when it dosent function during panic buying sessions.
survival wont be "survival of the fittest" it will be survival of those with the most skills and knowledge of how to survive outside of the normal situations, and that wont be the vast majority of the population.

No joke Bro! It was being "discussed" and when Zika raised it's head it made me wonder.

Imagine a mosquito borne or food, water, what ever borne disease that effects only females or males and renders them infertile. Especially if the disease has only mild, cold type symptoms and can be sexually transmitted from one partner to another. Weaponized... a targeted population is gone in a couple generations. Natural virus, the virus goes extinct when we do.

Natural virus....nothing to prep for. Nothing immediately life threatening. But, NO MORE CHILDREN! Yes, I know it sounds like just science fiction. Look at the science. I pray it's only fiction.

If a vaccine could be developed by a country that could develop this and weaponize it. They would use it and choose who populates the world. Know of any countries that would use it?

Around 10,000 years ago over 50% of the species in this painting went extinct. This is a painting of Alaska at that time and humans are in the top left of the painting attacking a giant ground sloth. We survived this mass extinction event that was world wide and we have no idea of what really caused the ELE (Extinction Level Event). Most of the species that went extinct were not mega fauna, they were smaller animals that have similar species still walking the planet today.

Horses went extinct in the Americas but survived in Asia. Same with camels. Of the 7 species of pronghorn antelope alive at that time only 1 survived. There were 5 species of muskox and only 1 survived. Bison had almost a dozen species world wide and only 3 survived (Plains, Woods, Wisent). Elephants survived in Africa and Asia but the Columbian mammoth and miniature mammoths of the Americas went extinct. The American cheetah went extinct even though it's prey species survived.

My point. We don't know what could eliminate humans as a species.

During the last ice age humans developed numerous languages, art, music, fitted clothing and tools. If we forget what let us survive and thrive, how long can the species survive?

when we have used up all the resources of the planet, and that wont be long, we will probably start going backwards and return to something like the stone age (i.e. hunter/gatherer), populations getting less and less as we progress back through the ages, thats if we dont go extinct before we get there.

We will only run out of resources if we refuse to stop our regression and basically turn our world over to the ever-growing subhuman population. Lonewolf, there are resources beyond imagination in the asteroid belt. There are asteroids out there that are basically diamonds. the heavier elements that are so hard for us to mine because when the Earth was still mostly molten the heavier elements sank while the lighter elements rose. In the asteroid belt, these are easily assessable.

We can NOT get there from HERE. In the end, getting out of the deep hole that Earth's gravity represents makes it just too costly. Look at the Saturn 5 rocket that it took to get the apollo astronauts into orbit and on to the moon. then look at the little bug that was the lunner lander that lifted them back off the moon and sent them home. If mankind is to survive we are going to have to have frontiers again. the moon will have to be our shipyard and the first port of call. Once we find minerals out there it will be cheap and simple to send it down to earth. THEN gravity helps instead of fighting us.

We have used up our potential here. If we are going to have a future it will have to be off-planet. The big part of the reason for this is simple. the subhumans won't go and the those that leave will be the future of our species...if we have one...

Planets are death traps. Sooner or later, over and over, they wipe out most of the life and start over.

If you will look at history you will see that over and over great civilizations were marked by exploration and expansion. Eventually, all of their adventurers have left and the civilization begins to fall into a passive state and crumble. With the situation that we have now with no frontiers and technology making everything happen faster the length of a great civilization is getting shorter and shorter.

When an empire is vital and growing it seems to pull the best from all other places making it stronger. when it reaches the end this is marked by the immigration of the losers of the world to them instead of the best and brightest.

Science fiction in the past was quite simply where scientists went to propose the things that they didn't dare to offer to a professional journal. A lot of the Science fiction that I read when I was a kid is a reality now. A lot of the best writers from the 40s - 6os were well-educated people in the science field. Arthur C. Clark was smarter than most and actually patented some of his ideas like the Geosynchronous satellite idea. I was reading about cell phones and the internet type systems in the 60s.

Lonewolf, I actually agree with Tex on this. If life is all science and no spiritual, we will have to leave planet earth and travel into the vastness of space for our species to survive. It will be inevitable or we will go with the Dodo's. Just my opinion.

Ystranc, I don't have to imagine what happens with a DuPont chemical spill. WV has already lived through that. I live well up stream of that, thankfully.

I know all of the planets water is contaminated with man made inorganic and organic matter. I consider contaminated and polluted different. Polluted is when no amount of filtering or even distilling can make the water potable without it having negative medical reactions in the human body. Our filth is already harming lower life forms, but we refuse to learn from that.

(Old Geezer has some sort of bad, very bad, flu. Tested negative for Chinacovid. Must get up energy to brush teeth or type messages in some forum. Very strange virus; causes very bad aches & pains, vertigo, fatigue, no fever -- very little respiratory or anything else symptoms.)

At the y-12 nuclear facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee during the 1940s dumped nuclear waste on the Y-12 complex grounds. There are is no shortage of "hot-spots" on those enormous grounds even unto today. People still work there. People still hunt deer in the forests where nuclear waste was dumped. If you are a successful deer hunter, one thing you must do however is to have your deer run over -- especially the antlers -- with a Geiger counter to make sure your deer is not too radioactive.

    http://knoxblogs.com/atomiccity/2014/11/07/hot-deer-unusual-getting/

Tsutomu Yamaguchi was burned by the radiation and heat from the nuclear bombs dropped on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He lived to be 93. The human body not only repairs its own tissue, it repairs its own DNA. There are people whose genetics cannot do this very well -- they perish. Some people you just can't kill. My mom's dad died in his seventies (doctors wrote him off), then lived to be 90 -- long story. Suffice it to say that the man was stubborn.

    Good afternoon Old Geezer,

Hope you're feeling OK to prep for flu ailment. I also had a flu like symptoms illness with much fatigue and no fever. Currently having an off-on fever from a shingles vaccination.

The standard: keep hydrated, certain emergency foods like honey, factor in stress theory of disease. It's a big factor for me.

My concern is not nuclear. A little south of me is the largest assembly of nuclear reactors there is: the boats with nuclear propulsion reactors.

My concern is mosquitoes. They may not take out 99% of the area's population. To me, it's irrelevant. I just want the mosquitoes to stay away from here.

........ and dress warm ! End of advice section.........

    Outer space aliens

My imagination and intuition tells me that out there in our own galaxy and certainly in other galaxies there is no shortage of unimaginably intelligent beings who evolved to the point of colonizing other planets before their own planet gave-out.

Maybe such planetary plunderers are using our planet as a source of materials which they need on their new favorite planets. I'm kinda glad that they didn't decide to push us aside or exterminate us for the purpose of their own colonization. Were they going to have done that, we'd have already been kaput, tot, "Arrivederci, Baby!"

On Earth, we need to be encouraging the best and brightest to breed bountifully.

    https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/history/events/3c520e6c-dc34-4cef-84f5-1d73062c411b

The prime minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, in 1984 created the Social Development Unit. This agency promoted husbands finding wives who had university degrees. Essentially the overall goal was to promote the reproduction of smart people. Families wherein the mothers were university educated got tax benefits; there was also the overt creation of dating venues wherein college educated folk would have a venue in which to mingle and socialize.

In Singapore the Leftists went nuts. Of course they did! These pseudo-intellectuals are want to go nuts over just about anything that is not in accord with their secular humanist dogmas. This, it was feared by the Left, would interfere with the careers of women. To the Left, babies are hideous creatures that, when in the way, should be eliminated. Secular humanist dogma holds that abortion is sacred.

Oh by the way, some humans are better than other humans in the genetics department. The intelligence levels to which one can grow is as genetic as how healthy you will be, or your eye color, or how tall you could grow given the nutrition, or or or ... . At the moment of our conception, what our physical being can achieve is set, set not in stone but in DNA.

I do NOT believe that we should tamper with DNA, however when you let nature take its course, the best have a tendency to meet up with the best and reproduction is often the result. That is a good thing. The hoi poloi wish Liberty. The almost-smart want control. The truly smart wish Liberty.

Frogs are sort of like environmental testers. Because of their rather odd life cycle, they are EXTREMELY sensitive to even small environmental problems. I have seen the effects of polution on them. LOL, I saw a show the other night about the eels that live in the British fresh water that travel thousands of miles to spawn in the Sargaso Sea. They are having trouble finding their way these days. They tested the waters and foud that the water near the English house of parlement has so much cocane in it that the eels get high and messed up when they pass through on their way to the sea. Evedently the urine that goes in there is potent. They get lost but they probably don't care and are happy!!!!

from Dalewick, "Had that last month. Lousy virus lasted over 3 weeks. My youngest daughter and wife both had it and we all had the same symptoms, just at different times. Good luck."

You've made me feel better -- no sh##!

    Big thanx!

Thought I was stroking-out or whatever. Emergency Ward scanned my freaking head! The powerful anti-inflammatory meds I'm taking can keep a person from developing a fever. The doc.s thought I that I could have viral meningitis -- who knows?, it just didn't show up on x-ray. Even rural hospitals here have state of the art equipment, even MRI $machines$. What I have stumped the doc.s. The horrid headache and lower spine aches are diminished somewhat today. Vertigo is down a tad. Still feel not right in the head -- having to perpetually make corrections in the emails I've had to pen. One nurse confided in me that they at hospital had seen this sort of symptom-set of late. Viruses attack that which they attack = shooting craps. Dad taught me to avoid shooting dice. Poker requires skill and ability. I don't shoot dice, but this damned virus sure did and went after my nervous system for sh##s and grins.

I get so furious at the news. I should avoid the web. Could stroke-out at all of the lies told by the enemies of America. Hopefully they will be wiped out when it hits the fan. City slickers have next to zero survival skills. Post-SHTF, urban refugees head my way, the locals will do everything in their power to NOT keep them alive. Many city folk are arrogant. Arrogance gets you killed in these parts.

Military will be stretched FAR too thin to protect the unprepared. Far too many with far too few skills = die-off of unimaginable proportions. Hope I'm far away from that mess. Sensitive nose, mine. Corpses give off an odor intolerable.

Mother Nature and her Evolution Slaughter House -- always open for business! The girl just ain't nice.

LoneWolf there are no reachable planets and the truth is that all planets are death traps. We need to build our worlds. The moon will be a start where we will build our future. Just as it was on Earth in the past the great expanding civiliazations had to have great coastal cities from which to launch their fleets. There were no real great landlocked world level civilizations. The moon will be our launching point into the seas of space where man will start a new future.

Sooner or later this planet is going to eat us. Over and over it has done this. I also am beginning to think that we as a people are nearing a point where we are going to sort of split in a way that will lead to two very different subspecies of humanity. There is no place left for the adventurures and lets face it, being smart isn't much of a value anymore in the evolutionary sense. In the past the smart people took better care of their children and so were more represented in the next generation. Now the only people that seem to have big familes with a LOT of kids are people on welfare. Even the Cathoilic families are smaller now.

Every generation has more and more people that have little to no hope of being successful. Even being willing to work hard does little for you now. In the past even if you weren't too smart if you were willing to work you could make a decent living. Most of the jobs of that type have been taken by powered machinery and computer opperated factoy assembly lines.

what are these people going to do for jobs when even the fastfood places become mostly just big vending machines? Mankind is going to eat itself alive if we don't offer a lot of the smarter more adventurous people an OUT. Look at what is happening in a lot of the major Northern and Eastern and Western cities. Now imagine that as an ongoing thing only in every city of any size all over the nation. We ARE heading there. The next time we elect a Democrat it will be the END of this Nation as we know it. The Democrats are now little more than a mask that is being worn by Socialests that WANT to be Comunests. Even past presedents like LBJ and John Kennedy would not be Democrats now. They WERE Americans and mostly fiscally conservitive, not print and spend socialests.

Things in the US are about to blow up. The crazy people are going to try their riots and stuff in the wrong place and the blood will flow like a river. the one try that they made in Texas ended with one of the idiots trying to pull someone out of their car. That man DIED right there. We carry guns here and we can and will legally use them. In many cases you might even say GLEEFULLY use them. We have NO patience with liberals and those protestors that were mostly thieves and thugs we would enjoy putting a bullet in.

People in Texas are very friendly. We Talk to anyone and wave at people that drive by when we are outside. We will stop and help you if you are broke down on the side of the road. We can do this because most people here are well aware that being an ass might get you shot! If you attack me or try and rob me I am going to kill you. If you threaten me I will probably just defend myself by beating the crap out of you as long as you don't show a weapon. You have to understand. We don't protect the criminals here. Weapons are totally leagal for you to use in selfdefence.

I lways have about four levels of weapong in every car. A always have a gun. A big knife is in every car. This may mean a big K-Bar or even a machettee or in my truck a sword. I always have a baseball bat or golf club along for the ride and honestly I nearly always have a set of brass knuckles or a black jack in my hip pocket. ALL of this is legal. Our stupid people know this and just hate it that they can't mug or rob us and the liberals find it barbaric that we won't allow them to do so.

When I was younger I didn't need most of this. When you are well over 6 feet tall and can squat and life well over 1200 pounds you don't need a lot of up close defensive weapons. The last time someone tried to mug me they had a switchblade knife. I grabbed his right hand and knife with my left hand and then grabbed his thraot with my right hand and lifted im off the ground and SQUEEZED. When that knife fell out of his hand I dropped him kicked him in the ass and he ran. I still have his cheap ass little switchblade. I'm old now. I am just a shell of the man that I was back then but am five times deadlier. If someone did it to me now I would just shoot them and kill them. I will let you stick me with a knife if you will let me shoot you for doing it. I will survive you will die on that spot.

In times past I would have done just as my ancesters did and probably go and find a place where I could find a little action. We came to Texas in time to become Mexican citizens and then throw them out of Texas. We have fought in every war and action that the US or Texas has been a part of. I am an odity in my family to not having been in the militray. I was ready but things just didn't go that way. Vietnam wound down. I was not drafted. I was on my way to Houston to enlist in the Marines with two friends but my car blew its engine. They went on and I came home and rebuilt my motor.
    Probably for the best...

I don't figure I'll be on any rockets any time soon either. LOL! Not happening before my dirt nap. We are only now developing the knowledge and tools to terraform other planets and moons. I actually figure the moon will be used as a port of entry for interplanetary and in time interstellar travel. It's location and lower gravity will make it a great manufacturing site and raw materials processing site (asteroid mining). Much of the research and experimentation on these methods has already occurred or is currently occurring. Space craft the size that will be needed for interstellar travel will have to be built in space anyways and there will be set backs and tragedies along the way. Columbus was not the first to sail west. Just the most successful.

The big questions will be. 1. Who else is out there?

    2. Will the human mind withstand the emptiness of space?

All other questions to be answered in time.
