I'm afraid to say that Australia has well and truly lost the plot. So much so, that I have been seriously considering relocating to the UK. That is of course if the government deems it fit to allow international travel: "Fully vaccinated Australians will soon be eligible for international travel without first seeking an exemption. The government has announced that Australian citizens or permanent residents aged 12 and over who have received two doses of a recognised vaccine will be able to travel without needing an exemption. This could start sometime in November but there will be more information provided soon." But I digress. I can't even move across the border, having been stupid enough to purchase a house in another state, let alone travel overseas. In order to move interstate, I have to apply for a pass, of which there is an enormous backlog. If (and I say if) I am actually allowed into the other said State, having shown proof that I am relocating,I have to fly and have my car freighted across the border. (Yep, I'm not joking. But it gets worse). Then I have to go into hotel quarantine for 14 days at my own expense, which costs approximately $3,500. I say "approximate" because in hotel quarantine you are not allowed to leave your room for any reason whatsoever. Therefore you have to pay for all meals, as well as laundry. If I am lucky enough not to catch COVID whilst in hotel quarantine (would you be surprised to hear that people who didn't have COVID before hotel quarantine, catch it whilst quarantining? Yep. Say no more), then I am free to move into my residence having shown a number of negative COVID tests. I also have to have my dog freighted to a government nominated boarding facility. Yes, of course at my expense. So ... it is already costing me $3,000 to have a 20 foot container with my belongings freighted across the border. That is of course provided the freight company can get a pass to do so (they've been waiting for over 2 weeks to hear if the pass has been approved. And if approved, the driver has to be fully vaccinated, have a COVID test before leaving NSW, then be subjected to more COVID tests whilst in the said State of Queensland. And they are only allowed to make essential stops. All up, another approximate $6,000 in expenses. And wouldn't you be pissed off if you went through all this hassle and expense, only for the border to be re-opened in the following days? Bloody oath you would. I have applied for an exemption in the hope of being able to isolate at my new residence in Queensland, owing to the fact that I have been booted out of the house I sold in NSW and am unable to afford the extra $6,000 to relocate and therefore will be homeless and sleeping in my car (with a large black German Shepherd - see avatar). However, I read in the paper today that a child who has cerebral palsy has been refused an exemption and has to quarantine at a hotel. I quote: "There is growing outrage with Queensland Health's tough quarantine measures after a six-year-old boy with cerebral palsy was denied an exemption to quarantine at home. Lenny Silveira and his father Fabio are holed up in a Sydney hotel room after the young boy underwent major surgery for his condition in the US. Because their flight back to Australia had to stop in Sydney, the Queensland Government has refused their plea to participate in the home quarantine trial due to the risk of bringing coronavirus in from NSW." And we're talking brain surgery. So, yeah, somehow I don't think the exemption I am applying for will be approved. This country is seriously going to the dogs. Vent over.
Well, at least some Australians are able to enjoy their freedom. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10090151/Only-Australia-Kangaroos-Canberra-lockdown.html
I appreciate the feed back . This is an awful situation for you and frankly for all the regular folks in Australia . The U.S. is faltering but our situation pales in comparison to what is going on in Australia .
Some light reading for you: https://www.sydneycriminallawyers.com.au/blog/police-brutality-escalates-under-the-cover-of-covid/
This is an excellent read that should interest all our members .This may be the future of other countries .
I wish I could say it wasn't about what's happening in Australia. Alas, I can't. I tend to value legal perspectives more than the tabloids. You never know how much truth there is from the media, or how much manipulation is involved. Although I haven't been able to discount the news stories in Aus about the shit fight that's going on here unfortunately.
The latest in the fight against COVID in NSW. Oh joy ... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...vernight-double-vaccinated-NSW-residents.html

☭☭☭☭☭☭☭☭☭☭ Do this in my home region and there would be a whole lot of dead cops. But of course, the local and state cops wouldn't enforce these laws in the first place. The Feds could attempt to do so; however that would be the first shot in America's second Civil War. Here in the former USA -- the biden regime is attempting to rape and burn all things Constitutional -- many police and sheriff departments are flat-out refusing to enforce the mandates of this invalid administration. Even in collectivist California, law enforcement are "just saying NO!" Cops are walking off the job and allowing chaos to occur. In the Commonwealth of Virginia, sheriffs marched on the capitol building and told legislators and the governor that they would deputize citizens owning "assault rifles" if the Virginia government banned semi-automatic firearms. This happened in my home state after WWII on into the 1970s. I know, because I had an uncle who was one of them. They would "take care of business" after the sun went down. In my home state, there are far more firearms than people. Plus, there are hundreds of millions of rounds of ammo (probably over a billion+ rounds) distributed amongst people you really do not want to anger; military and police are over 90% ex-military and very conservative in their politics. At gun shows, I've watched guys with two-wheel dollies roll wooden crates (not boxes) of ammo out to their trucks. . .

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...lly-thwarted-convoys-police-roaming-city.html "Victoria Police will continue to have a highly visible presence to maintain public safety, and to ensure any protest activity that breaches the CHO directions does not impact on the broader community’s right to go about their daily lives,' the spokesman said. " "Melbourne residents are currently subject to stay at home orders as part of emergency powers exercised by the Victorian Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton." The cops are still at it.
Centralized government always goes satanic given enough time. Human nature is human nature. Give one group of people power over other people and they inevitably abuse that power. Since recorded history began, the documentation for this severe defect in our species has piled mountain-high. If physical power (the right to vote means next to nothing) is not distributed out amongst the people, it always turns cancerous. "Rubber Bullets for Public Health — Australia Goes Full Fascist" https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...or-public-health-australia-goes-full-fascist/ "Police in Melbourne, Australia, have reportedly been firing pepper spray and rubber bullets at men, women and children protesting against compulsory coronavirus vaccine passports. "Some of the injuries they have caused are hideous, with at least one person nearly blinded, and a woman of 70 knocked to the floor with a broken hip and pepper sprayed in her face, as ABC News reported." ----------------------------------------------

Australian Big Brother regime goes berserk: "Thousands of Australians with unpaid fines for breaking Covid rules have their homes seized, bank accounts raided and licences cancelled as government chases $5.2million" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...en-bank-accounts-seized-homes-Queensland.html "The drastic measures would be used to collect 18.4 per cent of outstanding fines, worth a total of $1 million." "Queensland Health also called on SPER to recover more than 2,045 overdue hotel quarantine bills which have racked up a state debt of $5.7 million." "SPER said enforcement for people who failed to pay their fines 'may include garnishing bank accounts or wages, registering charges over property, or suspending driver licences', according to the Brisbane Times." https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/na...d-in-covid-cost-recovery-20211027-p593kz.html "The spokeswoman would not say how much commission the debt collectors stood to make under the arrangement, claiming it was commercial-in-confidence." .
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33278625/ "A five-day course of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 may reduce the duration of illness " Article found by PubMed detailing ivermectin regimine. "Abstract "Ivermectin, a US Food and Drug Administration-approved anti-parasitic agent, was found to inhibit severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) replication in vitro. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial was conducted to determine the rapidity of viral clearance and safety of ivermectin among adult SARS-CoV-2 patients. The trial included 72 hospitalized patients in Dhaka, Bangladesh, who were assigned to one of three groups: oral ivermectin alone (12 mg once daily for 5 days), oral ivermectin in combination with doxycycline (12 mg ivermectin single dose and 200 mg doxycycline on day 1, followed by 100 mg every 12 h for the next 4 days), and a placebo control group. Clinical symptoms of fever, cough, and sore throat were comparable among the three groups. Virological clearance was earlier in the 5-day ivermectin treatment arm when compared to the placebo group (9.7 days vs 12.7 days; p = 0.02), but this was not the case for the ivermectin + doxycycline arm (11.5 days; p = 0.27). There were no severe adverse drug events recorded in the study. A 5-day course of ivermectin was found to be safe and effective in treating adult patients with mild COVID-19. Larger trials will be needed to confirm these preliminary findings."
Likely here in the United States and probably in other countries such as the U.K. and Canada will be following Australia's example just like they did following China 's example of lockdowns and mask wearing . The seizing of bank accounts is the most likely reason the Biden regime wants to know how much money each citizen has in their bank account . Overnight and without warning the Biden thugs may push the button and drain accounts . Scenarios like this is why I am a prepper .
So, Blitz. How long after confiscating guns did it take for Australia to go full communist? So sorry for your troubles. Dale
"'Kill The Bill' - Thousands Of Australians March Against Victoria's COVID Powers" https://www.zerohedge.com/political...tralians-march-against-victorias-covid-powers "In a bid to keep the virus pandemic at bay, Australia's government imposed draconian lockdowns and vaccine mandates on its citizens. The harsh measures are becoming an unsustainable way for politicians to govern the country as increasing discontent among Australians is seen as they take to the streets in Melbourne. "According to The Epoch Times, the proposed COVID law would give Premier Daniel Andrews 'unprecedented power' to declare a pandemic and impose lockdowns. He would then be able to allow himself to dictate emergency powers for up to three months. There was no cap on how long the emergency powers could be extended. "The current emergency conditions are due to expire in December. If emergency conditions are extended once again, discontent towards the government will continue to boil." opinion: There are plenty of mining operations in Australia, thus dynamite is widely available. The electric transformers that feed government facilities should be destroyed. Let those who work within the Australian totalitarian government do so in the dark. Too, it's coming up summertime down there, so let the government toadies do without air conditioning. .
