For those of us out here who have put our lives and safety on the line, taken real genuine risks, and for our monies....for our families....

Ask yourselves if David Hogg is the type of fellow, you would want to watch your back when you have to go into a very tight and or dangerous environment to earn your monies???!!

Those of us who have done this type of work....in such environments ...know immediately and intimately of what I am speaking.

Some of us have had the ...you know what ....scared out of us on occasion...but know we have to come back the next day and do it again. You have to think fast....on your feet...follow your training ...and not get caught like a deer in the headlights....

Mind you now.....this does not make us better than other folk....what it does is make us very very different from most folk.

We are very very choosy about who is working with us and has our back in very very sticky circumstances/environments.

Hence you oft see me making reference to my nightmare dream of being stuck on that desert Island with 400 people who only know how to text and do drama.

And so too it is with our leadership...from the local level to the Federal Level...and often we have found them very very wanting.

As I have so stated....we are very very different from most folk...and make no apologies for it.

Folk like David Hogg..would not pass our muster...

I would not trust David Hogg to feed my pets......

by comparison there were 267.000 "home invasions" AKA Burglaries in England and Wales in 2021. Greater Manchester had the most burglaries with the capital not far behind.
    there were no fatalities reported.

The thing is that the ethnic ballance of Britain is not like what we have here. How many illegal aliens do you have? We have lots of people that have been on welfare or unemploied for generations. Many of them considder robery about like a working person looks at shopping. Unfortunatly they also like to have a lot of kids...which of course they don't support. The US has a problem that doesn't seem to have a solution. We have too many people here that don't work by choice. That part of our population is growing. They won't work but they will steal and assault people. Hell our current leadership is importing more and more of them via our porus borders and humanatarian imports...like we need more people that have no education, can't speak english, and won't work...

There is a serious problem lonewolf with such issues when verily thought through with reason...a problem which government tries to hide and conceal from us along with the drastic inequality taking place...inequality..immorality..

And that is lonewolf..exactly what I stated above....RISK.

Risk taken in earning our properties. By making burglary more risk free....it doubles the risk to those who take risks for their monies..in their occupations by having them risk twice or more to replace goods stolen...versus these people engaged in such burglary occupations.

Nothing dissuades burglary like increased risk.

But that is not where reasonable, logical intelligent, leadership tends to go. Such leadership would rather everyone be disarmed ...and those engaged in such nefarious occupations go free...have free reign over those of us who engage in risks for our monies.
    Talk about a rigged system..

Would such enlightened, illuminated, educated...men of logic and reason rig an election????

Instead ...enlightened governments take the risk out of life for people engaged in burglary and increase the risks for home owners. Sounds logical and reasonable to me.....

Most of us need to work and risk twice or more so that someone else can get it for free....sort of like a welfare program of entitlement.

That is the moral or immoral of this story.....risk twice and keep leadership employed at your expense...twice or more.
If my life and risks taken are not valuable .....those getting such freebees will live longer than me if I have to risk twice or more....simple!!

This is also not leadership....but it is on the surface ...touchy feely ..feel good.
But not for those having to risk twice or more to replace what was stolen......it is insanity.

    Ishmaelites run wild...be warned.!!

Old Geezer sez: Isn't it about time to register those flame-throwers!!! Once we have the registration files, we can ban and confiscate them.

"Flamethrower suspects in custody from California street takeover"

    https://leoaffairs.com/flamethrower-suspects-in-custody-from-california-street-takeover/

"Two men accused of causing extensive damage to a San Bernardino intersection with a flamethrower during an April street takeover are behind bars, according to San Bernardino police.

"Both men, who were identified as 31-year-old Edgar Peña and 41-year-old Eric Hanshaw of Maricopa County, Arizona, are accused of using a flamethrower on the asphalt of the intersection of 5th Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue at 11:38 p.m. on April 24, the San Bernardino Police Department said. Information on Peña’s city of residence was not immediately available.

"The incident caused an estimated $150,000 worth of damage to the intersection, requiring extensive repairs by Caltrans, according to Capt. Brian Harris, San Bernardino police area commander, at a May community meeting.

"On May 11, police served a search warrant and arrested Peña, authorities said May 12. He was charged with felony counts of arson, vandalism and causing fire of a structure, according to San Bernardino County Superior Court records.

"On May 19, Peña pled no contest to causing fire of a structure in a plea agreement in which his remaining charges were dismissed, court records showed. He was sentenced to two years of felony probation and 180 days in county jail, records indicated."

    Set-back for socialism:

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/spencerbrown/2022/06/23/scotus-gun-case-n2609212

"The Supreme Court on Thursday handed down its opinion in a landmark Second Amendment rights case, the biggest win for gun rights since the court's Heller ruling holding that 'New York’s proper-cause requirement violates the Fourteenth Amendment by preventing law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms in public for self-defense.'"

    -------------------------------------------------

Here in the States, we are experiencing a very rapid increase in assaults and robberies. In times past, the crime victim simply giving the thief his/her money resulted in the thief running away with the money. Not any more. The thief takes the money and still stabs the crime victim or sexually assaults the victim. Thieves are breaking into homes while the owners are at home. There is an insanity, an overt evil, to these crimes of late.

Our murder rates are passing the levels seen during the drug wars of the 1990s and continuing on up.

People are left without options of defending themselves and their families. Insane days.

Firearms training classes are full. People must wait for classes.

Now, separate-out violent crimes committed by race. Then, you'll have the real story.

    https://reason.com/volokh/2021/04/24/race-and-violent-crime/

"Blacks, which here means non-Hispanic blacks, were 12.5% of the U.S. population, and non-Hispanic whites were 60.4%. It thus appears from this data that the black per capita violent crime rate is roughly 2.3 to 2.8 times the rate for the country as a whole, while the white per capita violent crime rate is roughly 0.7 to 0.9 times the rate for the country as a whole.

"The disparity is even more striking for murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, which the NCVS doesn't measure (since the crime victim can't respond to the survey), and which thus relies on the police department reports in the UCR:

"'When the race of the offender was known, 55.9 percent were Black or African American, 41.1 percent were White, and 3.0 percent were of other races.'"

    ------------

Black people compose only 13% of the U.S. population, yet:

Sweden also has a much smaller population than does the United States....don't forget to factor in those numbers.

Carried my Ruger GP 100 in .357 Magnum with me yesterday when about town. A wallet plastic case with 18 rounds of reloads....including 180 grain cast wide flat nosed gas checks.
Also carried three speed loaders ....with various rounds. Semi wadcutters...and HP. 36 rounds total reloads.

Can you believe I did not shoot anyone...
I know ...hard to believe ..is it not???
I took care of my business and came on home...stopping only once to fill up my gas tank.

Unknown to most Americans...one of the purposes of the 2nd Amendment is to overthrow one's own government when they become unbearable. And overbearing.... incompetent....non Representative...of the people.

Was thinking that very thing about the Uvalde Police Department...and what happened at that school now that the dust is settling, and the real details are coming out past a sensationalistic tabloid media and also such tabloid leadership....in both political parties. Talk about a cluster you know what in Texas.

Most Americans know little about the writings of the Founders of this country....when they should indeed. Most Americans also know little about our governing document..itself....The Constitution of the United States.

Particularly when it becomes apparent that we are moving quickly into a "Non Representative Government."

A government which represents someone or something...just not the people.

I dont think government, any government, is that bothered about the people they are supposed to represent, they are more concerned with saving their own jobs, their own skins and their huge salaries, I dont think they give a fig about the population of our respective countries.
many of the MP's in my own country are London centric and couldnt find most country towns on a map, the only time you'll see an MP in my part of the country is when there is an election and then you cant move for "photo opportunities".

they certainly seem to come from the same sort of thought processes, many MP's have never had a real job out there in the real world but come straight from University, the exceptions all seem to be lawyers which isnt a real job either.(Kier Starmer labour leader for example).
I lived in a city many years ago but I've never liked crowds and I dont "do" people, I prefer animals to people.

"Can you believe I did not shoot anyone..."

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The grandson and I when out to the range the other day had three firearms and around 300 rounds of ammunition.

I didn't shoot at any of the stupid aggressive drivers I encountered. The boy and I robbed no banks even though I would have liked to have some more money for my retirement.

    --------------------------------------------------

"Sweden also has a much smaller population than does the United States....don't forget to factor in those numbers."

I'm a multi-billionaire. I take a cargo ship to Sweden. I identify Swedes of Swedish descent -- those whose families have been there for centuries. I go to each household and force them to take the handguns and "assault rifles" that I brought with me on my huge cargo ship. Ammunition, no problem; I'd give each household hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

How would things change in Sweden after rich Old Gzr did what he did? Well, the crime rate would NOT go up.

The Swedish people are who they are biology-wise, brain-wiring-wise. These people are mega-organized. They are smart. When their emotions go off, they control their emotions. The frontal lobes of their brains overrule their glandular behaviors. They suppress their anger. They suppress their lusts. Thus, we witness a profoundly civilized society.

Japan is another example of civilized behavioral patterns. One may not wish to live in Japan, however were you forced to do so because of the needs of the company for which you work, one of the things you wouldn't have to worry about would be crime. Japan's organized crime is organized.

We are what we are. The presence or absence of weaponry matters NOT.

As people migrate, they establish trade-routs back to the regions from which they came. Sweden bans AK-47 rifles and hand grenades. Yet, their migrant population gangs use these weapons against each other in their turf wars. These aggressions are mirror images of the wars they conduct back home in their countries of origin.

The Swedish people and the migrants they have taken-in are oil and water. What assimilation occurs is profoundly inadequate. They are two separate and distinct peoples.

In America, criminals steal the firearms they use to commit armed aggressions. In America, the people with the highest gun ownership rates have the lowest crime rates. Minority neighborhoods have the lowest gun ownership rates; yet, have the highest crime rates. Go figure.

Were I a dictator, I would mandate that people have gun safes.

Were I a dictator, would I ban firearms? No. Why not? What use would it be? In the first place, I would need the decent people help me get rid of the criminal element. Too, all I would be doing is enabling/financing the illegal manufacture of firearms -- likely, fully-automatic ones, because it is easy to crank-out stamped-receiver Mac-10s. Any machine-shop could become a manufacturer. In the 1700s, rifled barrels were made under the most crude conditions and without power tools.

Were I a dictator, I would crush the criminal element. I would send career criminals to penal colonies. I wouldn't impede the decent people, because decent people engage in decent behaviors. I would let the decent people aid in the war against criminal gangs. They would likely not assassinate me because I'd be on their side. What made the people happy would be what made me happy and visa-versa. I'd be one extraordinarily hands-off dictator. I would only intervene when the bullies wanted to come out to play. After my dictatorship, I would abolish the ability for another dictator to take my place. Centralized power may start-off having good intent; however, it ALWAYS turns into evil. 100%

Were I a evil dictator, I would expect to inevitably get shot dead. And that would be a good thing. ;)

At the beginning of the USA, the individual states did not want to overthrow English rule only to then to become chained by a central government on their own continent. It was imperative that they have their own individuality and the only way to make that be true was to have the physical ability to throw-off any American central power.

State militias were composed of the armed men of the individual states. Thus, the 2nd amendment to the Constitution empowered the civilians of each state to be armed. Should a state be imposed-upon by the federal government, it would immediately be able to muster its people, the militia, to resist such imposition.

Also, should the nation be attacked, all of the states could come together and provide a formidable force to defend the nation. Add to this, no matter the direction the attack upon America presented itself, the enemy would instantly run into an armed populace.

The men were expected to have rifles for the defense of their states. States also provided rifles housed in state armories for those troopers who didn't have the means to own a rifle fit for battle. Understand that many poor farmers may only have owned shotguns which were inadequate for military use.

The very concept that the government could disarm the people was outside of their thoughts. The people having the God-given right to defend self and family goes back to the Magna Carta. That a free people were a free people was a given. It was something not questioned. If questioned, it could and did lead to war.

    -----------------------
One example of a history lesson concerning the Magna Carta:

    https://americanhistory.si.edu/magnacarta

"Through careful examination of an image of a 1775 Massachusetts thirty-shilling note from the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History collections, students will discover the reason Paul Revere featured the Magna Carta (1215) on the currency he designed, and the symbolic importance the document had for American colonists fighting for their 'just rights and liberties' as Englishmen."

I was vaccinated/jabbed against my will to keep my position. Got covid anyway. The jab made me sick and foggy in the brain. Covid itself was a mild flu with no brain fog. My wife and two sons were not jabbed. They got covid and the mild flu symptoms. My wife has a lingering cough.

I deeply resent being put-upon by the evil forces in power. Anyone opposing this regime has my backing.
    --------

In keeping with the topic of gun control, I'm seeing more ammo showing up on the shelves. I was even able to buy a box of .357 at a price that wasn't painfully extreme. The company seems to be a new start-up. The ammo was loose in a white box -- which saves them money on packaging. I had an empty plastic ammo tray left over from the range and housed the ammo in that. Ammo in 9mm and 5.56 NATO is back in quantity, but the asking prices are double what they used to be.

More off-brand ammo is hitting the shelves. This is good. Small companies being formed. The big names need competition to keep them honest.

BAE Systems (British owned) makes the ammunition for America's military. They have plants in Kingsport TN and in Radford VA. I was once told that the Radford plant makes an essential component for all small arms manufacture, both military and civilian. I have no idea if this is true. I know no one who has done work for the Radford facility. The Holston Ordinance facility (Kingsport) makes unimaginably powerful explosives. One of their products is to C4 what C4 is to black powder. Our enemies make it. The formulation is known. Secret but not. I won't get into it, but civilians have zero access to such materials. The manufacturing process is tedious and well beyond dangerous. Radford may make this (?), however they do make trainloads of propellant for small arms ammunition.

    Yes..Olde Geezer...

I need to go back to my source/sources for reloading gear. Most of my ammo is reloaded....meaning I need to get ahold of more reloading components. Have not noticed a return of a broad selection of powders, bullets and or primers.

This shortage for some time now...reminds me of what happened under the Obama Administration and causes me, amongst other parallels to consider the Biden group to be only Obama II...but under otherwise secret control....not representative of the American people.....but representative of someone not wanting to be seen or known.

I know this because of the obvious rigging of the economy by creating inflation ....to control/Herd people in lieu of new laws and regulations. Inflation can be just as effective in controlling the herd as is new laws.

The next step is to disarm people....physically as well as mentally and also spiritually.

Centralized governments have a thing about beating down the people. First, you weaken people by making them dependent on Big Brother. You crush religious belief, belief in anything but "benevolent" government, via the education system. Then, you systematically, bit by bit, little by little, disarm them. The result is the rape of Liberty and individualism. The now-enslaved people actually believe that they have it well. They make fun of free people. In science fiction terminology, they have been assimilated by the Borg.

"Gunman kills 2 during Oslo Pride festival; terror suspected"

    https://apnews.com/article/politics-police-shootings-norway-11c7b126b7d8da2281903f9aae2fe150

"OSLO, Norway (AP) — A gunman opened fire in Oslo’s nightlife district early Saturday, killing two people and leaving more than 20 wounded in what the Norwegian security service called an 'Islamist terror act' during the capital’s annual LGBTQ Pride festival.

"The Norwegian Police Security Service raised its terror alert level from 'moderate' to 'extraordinary' — the highest level — after the attack, which sent panicked revelers fleeing into the streets or trying to hide from the gunman.

"The service’s acting chief, Roger Berg, called the attack an 'extreme Islamist terror act' and said the suspect had a 'long history of violence and threats,' as well as mental health issues."
    -------------------
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...2-and-injured-10-was-terror-attack/ar-AAYQB8Q

"Authorities say the gunman, identified as a 42-year-old Norwegian citizen originally from Iran, was arrested after opening fire at three locations in downtown Oslo at approximately 1 a.m., including at a nightclub that is popular within the LGBTQ community called The London Pub.

"According to The Associated Press, Hatlo said the suspect was known to Norwegian authorities but had no history of violent crimes. Hatlo confirmed that the suspect's criminal record included a narcotics offense as well as a weapons offense for carrying a knife.

"Authorities said they were able to seize two weapons following the suspected terror attack, including a handgun and an automatic weapon which Hatlo described as 'not modern' but gave no further details."

"Police Have No Duty to Protect You, Federal Court Affirms Yet Again"

    https://mises.org/power-market/police-have-no-duty-protect-you-federal-court-affirms-yet-again

"This latest decision adds to a growing body of case law establishing that government agencies — including police agencies — have no duty to provide protection to citizens in general:

“'Neither the Constitution, nor state law, impose a general duty upon police officers or other governmental officials to protect individual persons from harm — even when they know the harm will occur,” said Darren L. Hutchinson, a professor and associate dean at the University of Florida School of Law. “Police can watch someone attack you, refuse to intervene and not violate the Constitution.'

"The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that the government has only a duty to protect persons who are 'in custody,' he pointed out.

"Moreover, even though the state of Florida has compulsory schooling laws, the students themselves are not 'in custody':

“'Courts have rejected the argument that students are in custody of school officials while they are on campus,' Mr. Hutchinson said. 'Custody is narrowly confined to situations where a person loses his or her freedom to move freely and seek assistance on their own — such as prisons, jails, or mental institutions.'”

Reloaded 115 rounds of .38 Special shot up last week. Haven't taken time to go to the shooting range of late and need to go as often as ammo allows.

I am noticing and thinking that the leftist congress is trying to get gun control bills passed...and thinking that they will have to carry this out in some kind of shenanigans as did they with the passage of the Income Tax way back in 1913..

Basically, wait until they can get a quorum while most are out on vacation ....or holiday and just enough leftists to get it passed without opposition.

This is how Ishmaelites tend to work.

    Excellent.

How unfortunately correct your actions. In how many prophesies have these days been predicted! Several religions, several Prophets. Yet, here we are.

    Sad.

All humanity has been warned. So few have taken these warnings to heart! "Many are called but few have been chosen."

We are simply doing that which we have been told to do. I am not a servant of the fallen. I / we are servants of our Creator. Doesn't seem that difficult, quite frankly. Humility before our Creator. Again, not that big of a deal. Common sense and all.

I would that things were different. Yet, things are as they are. How many generations were caught up in the ignorance of the times! Let us be separate. Let us behave as is the want of the Greater Will. Quite frankly, I do not feel in any way special. I only perceive my actions as common sense. I give thanx that I was forewarned by the Prophets of God.

I hope I can help others in the few days I have left in this plane of existence. I'm old, I've had my last hurrah. If I can yet be of service, whoop-de-do! :D:D:D:D:p:p:p:):):):););););)

Well over 40 years ago, our first son's birth. C-section my lady had do have, but healthy son and wife. I ran to tell my wife's brother and his wife our son's birth and my wife's survival -- only three blocks away, then back to the hospital I ran. Fortune and misfortune life's plots, vicissitudes and happy times. Soon will come my separation from this lowly place. New worlds. Closer to the Creator. Greater Order and less chaos. I so hate being at war. I know that we didn't start it. Those opposed to the Greater Will will have to answer for their arrogance.

    Lonewolf.....

I am going to take the liberty to point out a serious flaw in your reasoning...or non reasoning if you prefer....and remember....government intellects are genuinely this fatal in their flawed thinking as well.....genuinely....flawed..

Now think about the very nature or essence of what you have posted above????

No fatalities.....really???....how about lives cut short by laboring twice or more to replace the items stolen in home invasions...by this kind of government subsidy on crime???? Yes indeed...government subsidy on and for criminal activity.

What..??? I don't think we are supposed to be able to think this far on our own..without the permission of government..experts....after all we are subjects...not citizens....yes?????

We need to be subsidizing criminal behavior on the public purse..after all.....these criminals are voters too!!!

Criminals should be able always to labor less than one time to get their goods and services by predatory conduct subsidized by government intelligence...by "Feelings" ....by humanistic goodness....

Criminals should always be subsidized as an important part of the "Victim " class of people subsidized by government limitations on the rest of us.

Our feelings don't count when we have to labor twice or more to replace the goods stolen by criminal behavior subsidized by government...for votes.

This is precisely the direction to where our current crop of leadership is taking the USA....subjects with privileges granted by the soverign....not citizens with rights...and the criminal class are being subsidized in government predatory conduct....

One look at the major leftist cities will confirm this.

I am picking up on some U tube news and videos wherein criminals are running people down on the streets and robbing them in gangs now....totally predatory....in the big cities.

Hmmmm....asking myself if I am eventually going to have to retire my Ruger GP 100 revolvers and speed loaders and just sling my Mossberg pump 12 gauge with folding stock on my back when I take my scooter to the grocery store...

But you know what I verily like lonewolf....this tool right here...

VIKING SWORD | Cold Steel Knives

There is just something about Cold Steel.....

Oh...and I also verily like this tool called a hand and a half sword...

    Olde Geezer...

I too am no spring chicken as the saying goes...and as I go into my Autumn years. I try to be Salty as the olde ones were....and for good reason..

We are the Salt of the Earth...not the sugar...

And they were quite correct....Salt is what holds back corruption......not sugar...

And in my older years and having taken sufficient risks in my occupation ...I have learned why the olde ones were Salty as well as why it was so....and am gratified to know this information....which has now separated me from most of the herd.

Don't get me wrong..I am not against mercy, generosity, humility and other such virtues....but at my time and place of choosing...not someone else's.

The Salt of the Earth..not the sugar.

    This Salt Olde One...

most right thinking people have contents insurance, I know I do, and if they havent got insurance they probably havent got anything worth stealing, in any case most people put the replacements on their credit card which are probably never paid off anyway.

Just a question...Are you saying that people, where you live, don't pay their bills to the charge card companies?? I paid my bills last night and the cards got about 700 bucks. One is paid off now. The other two are a work in progress. During the hard times in the past those cards were what kept us afloat. Now better times mean we pay them off.

I pay off my credit cards in full at the end of each month but many people only pay the minimum, the average credit card debt in the UK is £15, 000 for each person.

Holy crap!! I have a lot more than I want or had in the past but in total it is less than half that! I have three vehicles and a boat all paid off. My home is paid off so the cards are about all of the debt that I have. There have been times in the past that we struggled but in the end, I settled with the cards.

In the 80s I was unemployed for about a year as far as having a permanent job. Every place that I had worked in the past 15 or 20 years had gone under. We got in debt then and struggled for a while but didn't lose our home and a lot of my friends did. I had honestly thought that I was almost unemploy proof! I have a lot of skills and am not afraid of work.

In the end, the thing that saved us was a student loan program for dependents where I finally took a job on a loading dock loading trucks. It was actually pretty decent money with lots of overtime. It was a crappy place to work and as soon as my wife graduated and got a job with the State I bailed and we left town. I worked as a subcontractor with a guy for several years and then opened my own company.

In a way, as I look back, hard times were really the best things that could have happened to us. They force you to make moves in directions that you wouldn't have if things stayed mostly OK. Without the hard times, my wife would never have gone back to college and had a career, and in the end, I would never have gotten to open my own company. They SUCK while you are going through them but for me, they always forced us in better directions instead of just rolling along as is.

lonewolf....you are doing it again...and I don't think you are even aware of it.

Someone has to pay for that insurance...it is not free.....and often pay for it by taking risks in their occupation/occupations.

Oh...and good for you on your credit cards. ....excellent. I had no idea about the UK credit card amounts owed. And correct about most people making minimum payments...the balance owed barely goes down....but maximum interest gets paid..

It is very nice not to owe anyone...

And Texdanm.....well said about hard times....hard jobs, hard tasks.... well said...

Been getting more and more alarmed at going about town to take care of my various businesses. I note more and more people pan handling on various street corners....often different people working different sides of the same intersections.

At the convenience stores and in front of the grocery store I frequent...I notice more and more people panhandling and asking myself at what point some of these people will not be panhandling but demanding.???

Also, in the Tidewater area of Virginia I have also been picking up on stories of people leaving the grocery stores and being assaulted going to their vehicles with their grocery cart. Now that is going one step way to far....and not smart...

Sooner or later, someone is going to put down such two-legged wildlife....in the parking lot...and rightly so!!!

I can respect four-legged wildlife and their motivations more than can I the two-legged variety.

I imagine that the same situation exists in most all Western countries. If one lives in a high-crime area, you will pay higher insurance bills. More crime creates more of a burden on society. Here in Amerika, businesses are moving out of cities due to high insurance costs, high taxation, and the little matter of felons putting their employees in the hospital, even the morgue.

Some folk cannot move. They haven't the money, nor the resources -- such as family to help them move. Many can't pay the high insurance costs of living in an area that has reverted to an uncivilized condition. Trapped in high-crime areas, many are forced to arm themselves. The police are stretched too far and many departments have been defunded.

Governments that make them wade through mountains of paperwork plus the payment of license fees keep these people from their last resource -- that being to arm themselves to protect their own home and what property they can afford. Many urban governments have negated the people's 2nd amendment rights, via dictated laws (invalid laws, by the way). Elderly poor being robbed might make the news.

    What many elderly couples face:

How does one describe the following criminals?!

"California home invasion suspects held elderly couple bound with belts, threatened to shoot toddler: police"

    https://www.yahoo.com/video/california-home-invasion-suspects-held-012655310.html

"Four home invasion suspects linked to a series of home burglaries in Northern California, including one in which they bound and assaulted an elderly couple and another in which they threatened to shoot a baby, have been arrested, authorities said.

"The San Jose Police Department on Thursday said three men and a minor had been taken into custody. They were identified as Armando Manzano and Daniel Mendez, both 19; Eduardo Santiago, 23; and a 17-year-old who wasn't named.

"Manzano was arrested two days prior to one robbery on an unrelated charge, police said.

"'We're frustrated,' San Jose police Sgt. Christian Camarillo told Fox San Francisco. 'Suspects need to remain in custody. We need higher bails.'"
    -----------------------------------

Even out in the countryside, people have to be wary of strangers. Louisa, Virginia (population 1,835) is 55 miles away from Richmond. Louisa County covers 511 sq mi (1,320 km2) with a total of 38,000 people -- 74 people per square mile (28 people per square kilometer).

    https://www.nbc12.com/2020/03/09/lo...eadly-home-invasion-involving-elderly-couple/

"LOUISA, Va. (WWBT) - A Louisa County teenager is being charged as an adult in a deadly home invasion and robbery in November 2019.

"Cameryn Dickerson was indicted by a grand jury on first-degree murder, robbery, malicious wounding and burglary.

"Police said the 16-year-old boy shot 82-year-old Roger Payne Jr. and 73-year-old Nancy Payne inside of their home, and then took off with their car in Gordonsville just after 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 12. Roger was killed.

"Officers located the teenage suspect in Nelson County after authorities spotted him inside of the stolen car.

"The teen then allegedly told the elderly couple get dressed, took all the phones from the house, and brought them to nearby train tracks, where he shot them.

"Roger was shot in the face; Nancy put her hands up, which resulted in injuries to her hands and throat. Prosecutors believe that she survived by playing dead.

"The teenager allegedly used a sawed-off shotgun in the crime."

I am really fortunate in that I live in a place that doesn't have many issues and I always feel safe. I don't even have a key to my front door because it has not been locked in years. That is probably to be expected when you live in a place that has 10 prisons within a 50-mile radius and 7 of them are basically almost in town. The original and oldest unit is only a couple of blocks from the town square. There are 15,000 inmates in just the 7 units in town. That calls for a lot of officers.

Kids here don't really have the option of believing that it could never happen to them. Their parents make sure that they know that none of the inmates that they see working the fields or mowing around the prisons planned or thought that they were going to end up there either.

Another difference we have here is that we can and MANY of us do carry a gun. I have a sawed-off 12 ga in my truck and carry a Ruger LC-9 S any time I'm leaving the area. Concealed carry is legal and I went the extra mile and got certified and licensed. My wife is also licensed and carries.

If I am pulled over I always hand them both my driver's license and the concealed carry license. The fact that I have a concealed license to carry means that I am not a convicted felon and not someone that is likely to be a problem. When I'm in the car it is usually lying on the seat against my right leg or in a crossdraw holster on ly left hip. If they see it I want them to not be suprised.

We've always tried to live away from the cities. Counties with less than 100 souls / sq. mile (38/sq.km.) is what we're looking for. That, plus widespread agriculture and forests. Crime is FAR less in such regions and the people are usually FAR friendlier than in big towns/cities. Having said this. There are some seriously loony / aggressive / in-bred aggressive folk living in the boonies. Plus, we get the felonious interlopers oozing out of urban areas. Like you, we have to be on alert (condition yellow), but not on high alert. City dwellers have to be in condition orange, sometimes red -- this, especially true at night. I've got a .22mag derringer (5-shot mini-revolver) in my pocket now. Why? It's cute. But if someone kicks the door, it'll buy me the seconds I need to retrieve Mr. Shotgun. The rest of my toys are in the gun safe. Often, I'll have a lightweight chopped 9mm in my pocket. It also is a time-buyer. 9mm = kind'a puny.

Years ago, back in my home state, I had a carry permit. My eldest son made night deposits at the bank and I would park my car in a defensive spot and watch him and the area. Small town, not totally evil. Back in the day it was a bit wild ... OK, so it actually was downright evil. Somebody wanted to rob my dad's dad. Pap shot him. My other grandfather was a big hillbilly, didn't carry, but could beat the hell out of about any other man -- once knocked my dad out cold. My dad was one heavy-weight, but all humans have a limit as to that which they can survive. When at university, I worked a short while for a friend of my dad (gambling op.s also). I'd count the money out of his machines in a brothel in a "bad part of town". Felt perfectly safe. Nobody but nobody would go up against that madam! :p:p:p Funny stories :p:p:p. But the "good ol'days" really weren't so very nice.

If socialist Amerikan judges and prosecutors (Soros-funded) will not keep the monstrous felons and dangerous mentally ill off the streets, then private citizens must step forward.

"Indiana shopping mall shooter shot dead by armed 'good Samaritan,' police say"

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/indiana-shopping-mall-shooting-police

"At least four people, including the shooter, are dead and others are injured following a shooting at a shopping mall in the suburbs of Indianapolis, according to local reports.

"Greenwood Chief James Ison said 'a good Samaritan with a handgun' at the scene killed the shooter. He said two others were wounded and are being treated in area hospitals."
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even the Communist News Network is having to report the truth.

    https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/17/us/indiana-greenwood-park-mall-shooting/index.html

"(CNN)Three people are dead and two others injured after a shooter opened fire in the food court of a Greenwood, Indiana, shopping mall Sunday evening, police say.

"Around 6:00 p.m. local time, multiple people called 911 to report an active shooter at the Greenwood Park Mall, Greenwood Police Department Chief Jim Ison told reporters. Investigators believe the unidentified gunman, an adult man, was shot and killed by a lawfully armed 22-year-old man who 'observed the shooting in progress,' Ison said.

"The victims include one male and four females, including a 12-year-old girl whose parents brought her to the hospital with minor injuries after the shooting, the chief said, noting she is expected to be 'just fine.' The second injured victim was hospitalized and in stable condition as of Sunday evening,' Ison said"

"'This tragedy hits at the core of our community,' Greenwood Mayor Mark Meyers said in a Facebook post. 'Please offer your prayers to the victims and our first responders.'

"Meyers also expressed his thanks to the person who fatally shot the gunman while the shooting was in progress.
'This person saved lives tonight. On behalf of the City of Greenwood, I am grateful for his quick action and heroism in this situation,' the mayor said in another statement later Sunday evening."

"A Missouri sheriff said he told the FBI that he won’t comply with audits regarding Missouri counties’ concealed carry permit information.

"Scotland County Sheriff Bryan Whitney said in public statements that his department won’t comply with the bureau’s audit.

“'As the sheriff of Scotland County, I want all my citizens to know that I will not allow, cooperate or release any CCW information to the FBI, even at the threat of a federal arrest,” Whitney, a Republican, wrote in a July 18 letter, referring to concealed carry weapons permits'.

“'Point Blank, I will go down with the ship if need be.'

    "Data Breach

"Several weeks ago, the California Department of Justice leaked the private information of thousands of concealed carry permit holders in the state after it unveiled a new dashboard portal website, according to gun rights groups."

    -----------------------

As any mature person could predict, the deep-state FBI responded with a stinky vomitus of lies. The FBI doesn't turn over documents, they arrange for data breaches to occur such as the breach associated with the Supreme Court's decision to rule on Roe vs. Wade.

No organized crime family has ever been as foul and murderous as the D.C. deep state. Look at how the puppet biden administration raped-dead all the sacrifices of our troops in Afghanistan. Unimaginable. Hideous beyond reckoning.

The goal of collectivism is to suppress the Liberty of the people. So, blame the implement (firearms) of freedom for crimes. Collectivists LOVE chaos. Let us begin:

"Los Angeles DA Gascon pushes gun control amid crime spike, backlash over releasing convicted murderer"

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lo...e-spike-backlash-releasing-convicted-murderer

"Gascon’s tweet comes at the same time he faces heated criticism over releasing a California murderer 6 years into a 50-year sentence who was re-arrested this week on gun and DUI charges after a car chase."

"The NYC teen released after allegedly assaulting a police officer in a wild caught-on-video subway brawl was sprung three days earlier for a violent attack and has a prior arrest for gun possession, Fox News Digital has learned."

"Sacramento mass shooting suspect released from prison early weeks before tragedy, has violent past"

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/sacramento-mass-shooting-suspect-released-prison-10-year-sentence

"One of the suspects in the Sacramento mass shooting was released early from prison roughly a month before the tragedy despite being rejected for an even earlier release after prosecutors argued he 'clearly has little regard for human life,' documents show. "

"Florida sheriff blasts NJ for convicted murderer’s early release after arrest for new murder: ‘Shame on you’"

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/florida-...erer-early-release-arrest-homicide-new-jersey

"A Florida sheriff called New Jersey’s early release of a convicted murderer shameful after his deputies arrested the man Tuesday in connection with a new murder – less than two years after he was turned out of prison.

"Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd sounded off on video the department released Wednesday about the arrest of 51-year-old James Lewis on a New Jersey warrant for murder, kidnapping, carjacking, and weapons charges."

    ----------------------------------------

In Amerika, the list of early-release felons going on to commit unimaginably horrific crimes goes on forever.

Do you really think that these abominations are accidental or due to judicial incompetence?! Show me a person who thinks the latter is true and I will show you a person with whom any reasonable argument is impossible. Sure there are brain-dead judges and prosecutors, but most know exactly what they are doing. They are willing to bring-down Constitutional government by any means necessary -- to include societal mayhem. Collectivists seek the "greater good" (for their fellow travelers in god-government).

"Former police officer, Congressman warns of “bloodshed” if “assault weapons ban” bill becomes law"

    https://leoaffairs.com/former-polic...shed-if-assault-weapons-ban-bill-becomes-law/

"A former police officer and current sitting US Congressman from Louisiana warned of bloodshed should the so-called 'assault weapons ban' bill become law- and several of his constituents on the other side of the aisle panicked following his remarks.

"Clay Higgins, a US Army and law enforcement veteran who took office for Louisiana’s 3rd district in 2017, spoke on Wednesday during a House Oversight Committee hearing.

"Higgins stated that the current proposal for an 'assault weapons ban' -which would effectively render most of the firearms in circulation illegal to produce, sell or transfer- would result in American citizens having to defend themselves against federal law enforcement agents conducting raids to enforce the new laws.

“'What my colleagues are doing, it’s really, unbelievably beyond the pale of, of anything reasonable or constitutional,' he said. 'Everything we’re leading towards here is a seizure of weapons from the homes of law abiding American citizens that have purchased those weapons legally. You’re setting up gunfights in the homes of Americans.'

"Higgins noted that federal agents would run into resistance should they attempt to conduct raids.

“'When do you think ATF and FBI come to our house? In the dead of night,' he said. 'You’re setting up gunfights between American citizens defending their homes from dark shadows, clearly armed, coming into our home, onto our porch, and through our door. You’re setting up death.'

"Higgins was unrelenting in his comments, adding that those across the aisle in favor of the bill would bear the responsibility for potential future bloodshed.

"Gerry Connolly, a Democratic representative from Virginia, perceived Higgins’ comments as a threat.

“'We will not be threatened with violence and bloodshed because we want reasonable gun control!' he shouted.

"When confronted about his statement, Connolly began slamming his fist on his desk, screaming 'I will not yield!'”

    -----------------------------------------
Repeating myself yet again, the folk owning "assault rifles" are military and police (incl. retirees) having their service weapon at home. The mass shooters use semi-autos because that gets them tens of millions of dollars in media coverage. The MSM loves events that promote their socialist agenda ... no matter how many end up dead. Historically speaking, those in the White House and the majority in Congress represent the party of slavery, the party of war.

Amerika vs. America. Urban vs. Heartland. Two distinct and separate nations. Violence is now inevitable.

When the dollar collapses, the violence will go extreme.

Idiots seem the believe that THINGS are the source of evil and bad acts. All that guns do is make everyone equal as far as being physically assaulted. I'm 6' 2" and 220. I never had much trouble with people messing with me. My best friend was 5' 3" or as he claimed, 5' 4.5". When he was around people that didn't know him he got messed with. That was usually a really big mistake. He was a CHUNK of solid muscle. He made the district football team every year and got a collage scholarship to play ball.

I have always been a night owl and walked at night. Not one time did I ever have anyone bother me even though I would walk through some fairly rought areas. I think that thugs can sense fear and I just don't have much fear of anything. I like graveyards, they are nice quiet places to sit and think. I never met a haunted house or graveyard that I didn't like.
