Here is a topic that most had not envisioned as of two years ago . Here we are though facing a fuel shortage . Prices keep going up in a sort of bidding action to determine whom gets the limited supply . For those that may have not realized what is on the horizon as the world enters a man made economic collapse , just go to you tube and type in " fuel shortage " .

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/M0dJeRqP7Yo --- Here is a link concerning the " now here " fuel shortage . It is short " to the point " and from a trucker needing that diesel . When truckers can't get fuel , products are not delivered .

I must say that as regards rising fuel prices, the biden handlers are coming out and saying that it is their intent to let fuel prices rise. This is one of the few times they have actually spoken the truth. The biden handlers have shut-down fuel pipelines and stopped oil exploration.

This policy is a nod to the Gaia-worshipers. These folk want to get rid of carbon-based fuels even if it shuts-down this country's economy.

The liberals keep-up the Big Lie of being for the common folk, yet allow fuel prices and food price inflation to flare out of control. Who gets hurt the worst? The working class.

    ----------------------------------------------

This post reminded me of a recent incident in which protesters got in front of a fellow in his pickup truck.

At first, with fuel prices heading up (with no end in sight), people get frustrated and angry.

Later, when exorbitant prices cause businesses to shut down and people losing their jobs, then people will act-out. Make humans angry enough and they will go violent. Don't make mommies mad. Here in the States, baby formula shelves are emptying. Mommies are mad. This is one of the things that will not play well for the Democrats during the upcoming November elections. Add to this, fuel prices gaining altitude like a fighter jet.

Amerikan oligarchs via their 5th column, the MSM, are warning Americans not to vote against liberal candidates based on higher fuel prices. Elitists hate the working class -- which to me, is beyond stupid. If you need workers to enable your filthy richness, then don't infuriate them. I'm a raging capitalist, but when people use government to become monopoly oligarchs, then that isn't capitalism any more. Both "Republicans" (RINO, Republican in name only) and Democrats do this. Over 100 years ago, the Supreme Court ruled against Standard Oil and caused it to be broken up. Allowing the existence of monopolies is anti-capitalist and anti-Liberty. Any and all forms of centralized government goes septic, then lethal.

"Mainstream Media Asking Voters Not to Let Gas Prices Influence Vote"

    https://breakingnewsdigest.com/mainstream-media-asking/

"Journalists on numerous news outlets are warning voters not to let the price of gasoline influence your vote in November.

"Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell claims it is s 'wild fantasy' to believe that the GOP could lower gasoline prices.

"She added, 'The president does not have some super-secret special dial on his desk that can adjust gas prices, but many voters believe otherwise.'

"On MSNBC’s 'Morning Joe,' Donny Deutsch is fearmongering, stating that our country will be 'in peril' if Republicans are back at the helm.

"MSNBC political analyst Matthew Dowd stated, 'We have to tell the voters what the threat is just like we do, Joy, we tell them about inflation, and we tell them about job growth, and we tell them about a hurricane, and we tell them about tornadoes, and we tell them about wildfire, we have to treat this assault just like we have to tell them about the assault on democracy.'

"This is not journalism; it is activism, plain and simple."

    -----------------------------

Old Gzr: "... assault on democracy" It takes some serious chutzpah for a big-government fan to call evil those who wish for god-government to stop trying to rule-over their daily lives.

Such rhetoric is just another lead-up to this nation's second civil war. The fury's fire intensifies.

Truckers and trucking companies are folk you do NOT want to anger.

If truckers get put out of business due to no longer being able to afford diesel fuel, then food supplies will stop being delivered to the cities. Maybe that would be a good thing.

Oil is expensive because it is now running out. Peak Oil was in 2018. The sooner the world gets it, the sooner they’ll have to adapt.

There is no shortage of oil, there is a processing capacity problem. When governments tell the oil industry they want to eliminate their products, then the oil industry has zero interest in upgrading or increasing production capability. The Biden admisntration stopped the keystone pipeline the first day he was in office. They have delayed or stopped oil leases on public land. They have continued to increase regulation that add time and cost to oil production. The USA was a net oil exporter, when Biden came into office.

There should be economic rewards for making nuclear power generation safer and safer.

In the meantime, we must continue with the carbon crap. There is the matter of tapping more natural gas sources. Plus, were we to need it, we could temporarily use coal gasification until our reactors get online.

One thing that is great is that people are going to these electric cars. I want to see power grids collapse and as people buy electric cars, these grids will be pushed to their limits and beyond.

When biden "won" the election, the wife and I went out and bought a high-mileage car. It's peppy, has a "sport" body design, and actually does get dynamite mileage. Over a year and a half time span, the value of this used car has gone up over $5,000. Even though this model (Mazda, we have a 20 yr old Mazda that still fine, just getting ugly/rusty) has a splendid quality rating and long life, still we bought an extended warranty (extending its standing warranty) -- since the price was low, we could afford this warranty. This same make/model of car, we would not be able to purchase now -- they fly off the car lots and dealers are NOT making deals anymore. The car we bought was 4 years old and had only 35K miles on it.

People's retirement funds (including mine) are getting slammed due to the biden debacle. So, everybody is tightening their belts. I'm retiring, pulling out my funds to put into real estate back in my home state to where we are going to move. This, if we're not in some nuclear war, or the dollar doesn't collapse.

Buying used cars has become a royal pain since biden took office. People are not buying new cars.

    https://www.foxbusiness.com/feature...gas-prices-supply-chain-backlogs-drive-demand

"With record gas prices and supply chain issues delaying new car production, more people are looking for cars with better mileage.

"That means more business for used car dealers.

"'The economy is kind of tough right now,' said Carson Cars salesman Luis Zarate. 'They’re looking for a used car, low mileage, and they can rely on it.'

"Many dealers are having a harder time getting used cars, forcing them to get creative to fill their lots."

1973 all over again, except the gas rationing has not starter YET. I do think we are headed for a 1920's depression, not a 2008 recession. How the public reacts is anyone's guess but I am betting it will be ugly.

Beyond "ugly" -- no words to describe. During the 1920s and 30s, over 70% of Americans lived in rural areas. Plus, there existed an environment wherein everyone, men and women, were self-sufficient. The women of yesteryear were FAR more hardy than today's "men". Compare to today's world -- utterly tragic. One could use the term "sick", even "terminal".
Side note: during the latter 1970's, our investments were bringing-in a 17% return. YET, they had to! This, because of Jimmy Carter inflation. Biden inflation will NOT just be inflation. It will massively contribute to the inevitable collapse of the dollar. One must now liquidate all holdings denominated in fiat. These monies MUST be converted into physical/real holdings. Fiat currencies could go on for two, even three, more years; however, I seriously doubt it.

--- Here is a video on the topic of fuel stations " running dry " . This should be of even more concern in the U.K. and the rest of Europe than the U.S. even though even in the U.S. we appear to be facing closed down fuel stations from lack of fuel .

Of course there are no easy oil fields now, the current administration had made it abundantly clear they want to do away with fossil fuel. No oil company in their right mind is going to invest billions looking for new oil fields or to increase refinery production. To make it easy for some to understand here is a simple example: Goverment decides to fight obesity and tells all the bakeries that they want to shut them down. How many bakeries would plan on buying more ovens to increase supply?

"Dutch Protesters Pour Manure On Government Offices Over Industry-Killing Regulations"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/commoditi...ent-offices-over-industry-killing-regulations

"Dutch farmers who have been protesting for weeks over the government's radical plan to cut nitrogen emissions by 50% - 95% by 2030 have taken things to the next level - pouring manure on government offices in response to the plan which would cause widespread chaos - including the death of 1/3 of Dutch farms.

"Pissed off protesters became aggressive with police last week, with angry farmers demanding that the Hague backtrack on their 'green' agenda

"Last week Dutch farmers also blocked the border between Holland and Germany, while even bigger protests are slated for July 4.

"Meanwhile, farmers in Spain are coming out against inflation for fuel and essential goods."

    ----------------------------------------

Regulations are depriving people of their livelihoods. Make needed fuel available now and use profits for investments in nuclear energy and other feasible innovations. Phasing-out carbon-based fuels will take time and you can't shut down economies in the meantime unless you wish chaos and violence. Angry people go violent -- Psychology 101.

Some of our members may not remember but I do . The country of Venezuela was prospering with the 3r. best economy's on the planet . Getting arrogant they decided they didn't need foreigners drilling , and refining oil for them " the reason for their prosperity " . So they kicked out the foreign oil workers and that is when things took the downward spiral . Today the peasants live in squaller " if they have survived " . Now fast forward to todays war on oil and natural gas . We are seeing food shortages and a crumbing society . As long as this war on fossil fuels continue we can expect the same results Venezuela experienced . There is no indication that this war on fossil fuels will reverse . We are seeing the results of the yearly world leader summits and their scheming .

fossil fuels will not last much longer, the "oil age" will be much shorter than any age that went before.
at some point humans will have to come up with an alternative or go back to a previous lifestyle.
personally I prefer the previous lifestyle.

Use of crude oil products are widespread through industry, gas, plastics, chemicals, fertiliser etc…the oil industry isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future but we are going to be reducing our dependency on its petrol and diesel products.
I was watching an interesting program on synthetic petrol made from hydrogen (from water) and captured carbon. Batteries for cars are just so expensive, fully half the value of some cars…whereas it is easy and cheap to alter big diesel engines to run on hydrogen as companies like JCB have shown. Hydrogen fuel cells are a clean way of fuelling smaller vehicles quickly and conveniently.
There is no point railing against it, it’s the future.

I find it interesting that two of our non-U.S. members believe the planet is running out of oil " Lone Wolf and Paul M ". That is undoubtedly because of the information they have been feed . -- Let's compare that to what U.S. citizens are being feed . Under the Trump administration we were told the U.S. is sitting on more oil than Saudia Arabia . As soon as the political coup and placement of Biden as political puppet , he immediately shut down oil pipelines and drilling on the oil under our surface . Thus Biden fulfilled his political campaign promise to shut down the U.S. oil industry . Under Trump the U.S. was enjoying all the relatively inexpensive fuel we wanted and was exporting our excess oil we were producing . Likely some of the oil we were exporting was going to Lone Wolf and Paul M. 's country . --- To no-ones surprise it appears someone's government is lying to them . Now I am not an oil executive in a position to know the truth but something here smells fishy . No doubt oil will run out one day but one report the U.S. citizens were feed under the Trump reign was that the U.S. had several hundred years of oil sitting under us . --- What a coincidence that the planet ran out of oil immediately when the Biden puppet was put into position .

Oil is not running out, it is however getting less economically attractive because it’s getting more difficult and expensive to extract. My gripe isn’t with the oil industry:mad: it’s about the way we are wasting a precious and finite resource by burning it or processing it into plastic tat and then dumping the products in landfill

The fact is though regardless of whether the planet is running out of oil or this is a shortage created by Climate change lunatics , the results is the same . The only hope for the U.S. is to overthrow the deranged now in control of our country and regain sane leadership . No doubt the people claiming to be our legitimate elected leaders will again cheat in our upcoming elections as they have no moral compass . Hopefully they will not be able to " cheat enough " to overcome the masses of voters wanting freedom and sane leadership . --- What happens in the United States effects the entire planet . --- Either reason this is caused by , preppers should be ready for a world without much electricity ,or petroleum fuel . The bottom line this means no food being trucked in , flown in or brought in by ships . Neither will stores be able to refrigerate their products to sell to consumers . No fuel means commercial farming will collapse --- Those that haven't adequately prepared face a bleak future .

I thought most of the oil imported into the UK came from Saudi Arabia, knew someone who worked on oil tankers and that was the journey they did, most governments lie about how much they have in reserve for political reasons and so as not to panic the masses. without oil there is no plastics, and the sooner that happens the better for the planet, I personally dont much care if there is oil or not and if there isnt we alter our lifestyles to suit, those that cant or wont will reduce the population levels so its win win all round.

Hardly a win for anyone LW. While I’m against wasting plastics in single use products and putting them into the environment in the form of microscopic fragments I recognise that there are still a lot of uses for them that would be entirely justifiable to even the most ardent conservationists.
I’m certainly against any kind of mass die off, even if it included you.

Makes me crazy all this plastic packaging!

Just got in some parts at work. They were wrapped in some bubble-wrap (god-awfully expensive and not totally robust), but most of the packing was wadded-up brown paper (unbleached, could have been recycled, the cheapest paper). If something can be packed in cheapy / recyclable paper, then it should be.

In the 1960s and before, bottles and jars were glass. Not only that, one returned their bottles so that they could be cleaned, scalded, and re-used. My parents having endured the Depression and WWII (rationing on the home-front) threw NOTHING away. This is how I was raised and didn't even think about it. I got a scolding if I did something wasteful. Hospital supplies were autoclaved and re-used. I could go on and on and on with other examples. This was just how things were. Quite frankly, it was "no sweat".

Any waste that could be burned went into the coal furnace and used for heat. My wife had an uncle who would repair rust holes in his car by riveting flattened-out cans over these holes. We are still driving our worn-out 2002 Mazda even though we just bought a used Mazda. I'll drive it 'til it drops. We utterly wore-out a Ford Explorer -- kept it well over 20 years (I was embarrassed to drive it onto the lot for trade-in; next thing to scrap metal).

Food? You ate what you put on your plate. We perpetually had left-overs for meals until it was all gone. Bones were thrown out to the dogs. Veggie scraps went in the compost pile. Again, this was just how things were done. We didn't even think about it. The practice of not wasting anything gets hard-wired into your brain before one goes to grammar school.

Having been raised in a non-throw-away world, I stand aghast at the waste I witness today!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

    This is mind-numbing!

Were my grandparents alive today, they'd be going around smacking people.

"Top Energy Regulator Warns Germany Won't Survive Winter Without Russian NatGas"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/commoditi...ny-wont-survive-winter-without-russian-natgas

"Germany is grappling with its worst energy shortage in decades as it might not meet the threshold of adequate natural gas reserves before winter.

"Germany's national Sunday newspaper Bild am Sonntag interviewed Klaus Muller, head of the Federal Network Agency, the government regulator of electricity, gas, telecommunications, post, and railway markets, who warned NatGas inventories are 'nearly 65% full' and 'it's better than in the previous weeks,' though not enough to 'go through the winter without Russian gas.'

"The German government sets a yearly target of 90% by November for NatGas inventories, and with nearly 3.5 months until the target date, injections have turned to withdraws due to the Nord Stream 1 pipeline scheduled maintenance and a menacing heatwave that has bolstered electricity demand.

"Muller said Nord Stream's 10-day scheduled maintenance ends July 21 or this coming Thursday. The energy situation could worsen if Russian state-controlled natgas exporter Gazprom doesn't resume deliveries or continues to restrict flows."

"LONDON, July 18 (Reuters) - Russia's Gazprom has told customers in Europe it cannot guarantee gas supplies because of 'extraordinary' circumstances, according to a letter seen by Reuters, upping the ante in an economic tit-for-tat with the West over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

"The July 14 letter from the Russian state gas monopoly said it was retroactively declaring force majeure on supplies dating from June 14. The news comes as Nord Stream 1, the key pipeline delivering Russian gas to Germany and beyond, is undergoing annual maintenance meant to conclude on Thursday."

It most certainly was obvious. You have to wonder at governments who knee- jerk their decisions like this one. Ivan invades Ukraine,Europe decided to ‘punish’ Russia by refusing to buy oil and gas, which is only the life blood of the entire economy. When they have done that, they realise they have no alternative suppliers at the right price. It confirms what we all know - that politicians are idiots.

it was mostly down to Merkel who was brought up in Communist controlled East Germany who welded them all to Russian gas and oil.
you have to wonder about the mentality of MEP's who go along with that thinking, Russia was never to be trusted no matter who was in charge and even less under Putin who is ex KGB.

We don’t use much Russian juice, that’s true. However, taking out the Russian percentage of global supply increases global prices…supply and demand!

As for this UK prepper worrying about Winter heating and cooking ,that’s no problem at all. My primary heating is Wood/ coal ,and I literally have tons stored! As for cooking, we have PLENTY of stored gas,and the wood stoves have cooking plates. Bring it on.

Yes I don't doubt you have been a prepper for many years . My statement above may have been misunderstood as I was simply trying to give others on this forum credit for trying to reach a higher level of prepping . For instance Old Geezer is trying to retire and move to a more survivable location . Even Max rigger whom I rarely agree on anything he posts at least has bought his own home and dirt to grow a garden , which I consider a huge step taken to go down the prepper path .

Man, coal is the deal! Haven't used it since I was just a kid -- fraternal grandparents' house. Coal BE hot, homey! Kept me plenty warm. Lord knows how much of that I shoveled past age 8! To this day I love the smell of it. Guess my brain hard-wired it because it coupled the smell with warmth/comfort. When you're a boy, you have infinite energy.

I've never had much experience with it but a chunk coal fire lasts and lasts. Coal fires will melt iron, so you gotta have a stove or fireplace lined with fire-brick. A coal grate is heavier and quite different than a wood grate.

Four to six tons per load? I totally forget. The coal truck would pull into the gravel driveway of my grandparents' place and there was an iron door to permit a coal shoot down into the basement. The coal would form a mini-hill from which one would shovel it into the furnace stoker.

I love Islay Scotch due to its peaty aromas. Here's a favorite:

"Woman sets boyfriend on fire at gas station, man succumbs to injuries"

    https://leoaffairs.com/woman-sets-boyfriend-on-fire-at-gas-station-man-succumbs-to-injuries/

"A woman is facing murder charges after setting a man on fire at a North Texas gas station, killing him. Reports from WFAA, an Arlington news station, say that a Texas man named Ricky Doyle has died from his injuries weeks after his girlfriend doused him in gasoline and set him on fire during a “domestic violence incident” on July 18.

"Breana Johnson, 24, was identified as Doyle’s girlfriend and the attacker based on witness accounts and video evidence from the scene.

"The couple had been arguing at the scene before Johnson pumped gasoline into the Jeep Doyle was in, according to the report. Police say Johnson ignited the backseat, prompting Doyle to run out of the vehicle engulfed in flames. Witnesses said Doyle was bleeding and that his skin appeared to be melting off his body."

"'A Tragedy:' Brits Face Worsening Cost-Of-Living Crisis As Power Bills Expected To Top $5,000"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/commoditi...t-living-crisis-power-bills-expected-top-5000

"As power bills are expected to jump to record highs this winter, UK households will struggle with a worsening cost-of-living crisis.

"A new report via energy market intelligence firm Cornwall Insight Ltd. said the power bill price cap is set to rise to £4,266 ($5,168) per year in 1Q23, pilling even more financial pressures on consumers trying to survive the worst inflation storm in decades.

"Cornwall Insight's forecast comes as the price cap would breach the £4,000 for the first time, though the good news is energy costs in 2H23 should ease. Cornwall expects the price cap to remain over £3,700 through next year.

"The pain of soaring energy inflation has led to a massive movement of nearly 100,000 people who have pledged not to pay their electricity bill this winter. We reported last weekend that 'Don't Pay UK,' a strike encouraging people to cancel power bill payments, was gaining moment as the anonymous group hopes to have more than a million Brits boycott paying their power bill by fall.

"On top of high inflation and households experiencing the most misery in three decades, the Bank of England warned last week that the UK is expected to enter a recession. All of this is setting the stage for what could be protests in the streets."

    ------------------------------------------------

Certainly not preppers, but many in the U.K. and Europe expect Mommy & Daddy Government to take care of them.

So the above article sez that a lot of folk aren't going to pay their power bills and some may also riot. Think they will?

It'll be cold, so maybe they won't take to the streets. Or, they could set buildings alight and warm up from a safe distance.

In the USSA, Black Lives Matter and Antifa "peaceful" protesters set police stations on fire and attempted to trap the police inside. Think this sort of thing will happen in the U.K.? Will something resembling London 2011 reignite?

we are now back to the old chestnut of "heating OR eating", of course not paying your power bill is theft as they have already used the electricity and or gas, so could be a criminal or civil matter.
some of the "usual suspects" may riot but it will be limited.
we reckon there will be extra deaths this year as people freeze with no heating and maybe an increase in the suicide rate as people can no longer cope with day to day life.

In your heart of hearts, isn't it just a little bit fascinating to watch latrine London have its flaming fun? I mean, they themselves bought-into the whole "let's let the world move in" business. Isn't this just a bit of cultural education? My dark side is want to go pop some popcorn and play the videos of the burning buildings. Pepsi please! These are the people who laugh at banjo music (my pap played the banjo, I have almost all of Bela Fleck's recordings). If they make fun of us, let them die.

London , a city of 9.5 million, only 36ft above sea level, you can imagine the screams when the electricity and all the main services fail, the Thames barrier has been overtopped several times.
still, a good flood -like the New Orleans one-should wipe the place clean, might even rid us of all those pesky politicians that are good for nothing and nobody.

"Judge reinstates Obama-era ban on coal sales from federal land"

    https://www.foxnews.com/world/judge-reinstates-obama-era-ban-coal-sales-federal-land

"Almost half the nation’s annual coal production is mined by private companies from leases on federal land.

"A federal judge on Friday reinstated a moratorium on coal leasing from federal lands that had been implemented during the Obama administration.

"The ban was lifted under former President Donald Trump.

"President Joe Biden had suspended oil and gas lease sales in his first week in office, although such a move was later blocked by a federal judge. And environmental groups pressured him to take similar action against coal.

"... But National Mining Association President Rich Nolan said the industry lobbying group would appeal the ruling.

"'This is a deeply disappointing decision with energy-driven inflation, energy affordability and energy security top concerns for Americans,' Nolan said. 'Denying access to affordable, secure energy during an energy affordability crisis is deeply troubling.'"

I think you will find the Netherlands like the Somerset Levels is all below sea level, without the dykes (dams) to hold the water back the Netherlands would be under water.

"Why is Antarctica shaking like crazy? More than 50,000 earthquakes in 3 months baffle scientists"

    https://strangesounds.org/2020/12/antarctica-earthquake-increase-new-volcano-forming.html

"So what’s behind this earthquake uptick in Antarctica?

"There is no clear answer to that geological phenomenon yet. But here some suggestions based on previous similar events.

"Could it be linked to a volcano forming underwater? As seen in the second map, the Bransfield Strait contains volcanoes and volcanic areas. Just remember that the formation of a new volcano near Mayotte was responsible for a strong earthquake swarm.

"Antarctica Ice Sheet is Retreating Across Due to Ocean Melting – But Scientists Always Forget the Active Volcanoes Lurking Under the Ice!"

    https://strangesounds.org/2018/04/a...-melting-ocean-water-volcanoes-hot-spots.html

Back in August 2017, scientists discovered 91 volcanoes under Antarctica ice but it wasn’t sure if they were active or not.

Now, in November 2017, a new heat source was discovered under Antarctica driving ice melt and volcanism.

A few days after this discovery, the British Antarctic Survey (BAS), had revealed a new Antarctic heat map showing sub-ice hotspots across the icy continent and thus representing the ‘geothermal heat flux’ at the base of the Antarctic Ice Sheet.

"Here's What Would Happen If Antarctica Melted"

    https://www.grunge.com/471045/heres-what-would-happen-if-antarctica-melted/

"And there's a lot of ice to melt. According to the National Snow & Ice Data Center, Antarctica's ice sheet covers somewhere around 14 million square miles. To put that another way, if that got picked up and plopped down in North America, it would cover all of the US and Mexico. Then, there's the depth. When that's figured into the equation, it adds up to around 7.2 million cubic miles of ice.

"Coastal cities — like New York, New Orleans, Buenos Aires, Cairo, London, Venice, Shanghai, and Bangladesh — would all be gone, along with some majorly important swathes of land. Four-fifths of Australians live along the coast, and that entire area would be underwater — along with an area of China that's currently home to around 600 million people. Denmark and the Netherlands won't survive, they'll be almost completely underwater — along with most of the US's East Coast, Florida, and Mississippi Delta, almost all of Paraguay, and a good part of Central America. Some major places would turn into islands, like San Francisco and Cambodia.

Such an scenario of volcanic melting of the Antartica icecap would create a " Water World " in short order . Fortunately for my tribe we reside hundreds of miles from the ocean and on top of a mountain at that " Dry Land " .

"Column: U.S. diesel shortage shows economy hitting capacity limit"

    https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/...ws-economy-hitting-capacity-limit-2022-08-04/

"LONDON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - U.S. distillate fuel oil inventories are depleting to critically low levels; either an imminent recession reduces consumption or prices are likely to surge higher.

"Distillate fuel oil is the lifeblood of industry and the worsening shortage shows the economy is hitting hard capacity constraints in the short term.

"Stocks of diesel, heating oil and other distillate fuel oils fell by more than 2 million barrels to 109 million barrels last week, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)."

    -------------

Meanwhile the O'biden puppet regime is cutting-off sources of needed fuel. What they don't realize is that people will fight back with deadly force should the D.C. Borg declare martial law. Heartland sheriffs and their deputies will side with the people, as will regional National Guard units.

People en masse refusing to pay outrageous fuel bills, I think it could happen, especially in Europe where the people will be hardest hit.

Looks like 2023 will be "interesting".

Seems, god-government in Germany fears that the sheeple will lose faith in the Church of Socialism.

"‘Winter of rage’: Experts warn of riots in Germany due to rising energy costs"

    https://www.thelocal.de/20220811/wi...-riots-in-germany-due-to-rising-energy-costs/

"In view of rising energy costs, supply difficulties, growing unemployment and general pessimism about the future, authorities in Germany are warning that there will be mass protests this year – and that these are likely to be abused by extremists.

"Stephan Kramer, president of Thuringia’s Office for the Protection of the Constitution, told German broadcaster ZDF that, following the pandemic and the world events of recent months, there is a highly emotionalised, aggressive, future-pessimistic mood' among the population, 'whose trust in the state, its institutions and political actors is tainted by massive doubts'.

"He expects that legitimate protests' will be infiltrated by extremists, especially those from the so-called Querdenker (lateral thinking) scene and that it is likely that some will turn violent.

“'What we have experienced so far in the Covid pandemic in terms of partly violent confrontations on social networks, but also in the streets and squares, was probably more like a children’s birthday party in comparison,' Kramer said."

Germany under Merkel-who was brought up in communist East Germany- wedded themselves to Russian oil and gas, now they are paying the price, they either pay Russia therefore adding to Putin's war chest in which case their sanctions mean nothing or they go without.
