fixed blade or locking with a blade of more than 3 inches.
not illegal to own but illegal to carry in public.

You can legally carry a folding, non locking blade up to three inches unless you are in a school, college of further education or restricted area such as a prison or airport. Anything else is illegal to carry in a public place but there may be a defence in law if you can prove that you have good reason to be in possession of that knife (specifically at that time and in that place)

I agree, the logic of criminalising certain kinds of knife makes no sense. Since criminals have (by definition) no regard for the law its only impacts is to criminalise ordinary people who may want to carry a knife for legitimate reasons.

It must be important over there to protect the genetic refuse.

The instant that a person turns into the enemy of civilization by committing robbery or by attacking innocents, that person is no longer human. If it gets killed, it gets killed.

If a swarm of this trash goes on a looting spree, that swarm should be mowed down, scooped up into front-end loaders, spilled into dump trucks, transported out of the urban area, dumped into giant trenches, and covered over.

I read an article the other day where they were thinking about making it illegal to buy and ship knives except to commercial places. Basically they want to stop mail order knife buying.

They’ve already done that here. A pocket knife can still be shipped to a private address but should be shipped with an over 18 signed for service. Other knives are only supposed to be sent to commercial addresses or can be held for collection at a post office by the recipient if they can show ID proving they’re over 18.
These rules are regularly being ignored though because they’re pretty much unenforceable.

If You cannot be trusted with a knife....you will never be trusted with a vote.

If you cannot be trusted with a gun or gun and Ammunition...you will never be trusted with a vote.

The State of California better hope their people never catch on....Most of America as well.

London has a huge problem....and in typical Political fashion....they will constantly get it backwards.
This is what Ishmaelites do....put others into bondage...social/political bondage.....ie....backwardness.....aka...."Herding."

I don't play Scrabble, however there are some lost neat words that could stand to be dragged back out and used. I get to use the word "chortle".

England is now banning sharp objects -- chortle, chortle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lived to see it! The liberals are banning sharp objects -- too good to be true!

Next, a ban on gravity -- chortle, chortle, chortle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweden is having problems with hand-grenade attacks -- chortle, chortle, chortle, chortle !!!!!!!

    https://www.politico.eu/article/swe...ty-undoing-peaceful-self-image-law-and-order/

The collectivists are always trying to create some Paradise on Earth ... then they run into human nature. Every time a Tower of Babel collapses, I am sent into a condition of rare delight!

The banning of sharp objects. Too good to be true! I hate do-gooders with all of my heart and soul. I love to watch them suffer. When they spray blood out of their eyes, I want to dance. Such are the fleeting moments of my happiness. Thinking about this just makes me so incredibly happy. I feel so good right now.

I just bought a knife and it is a carbon steel knife. I bought it in particular for that very reason. I did not want a stainless steel knife.

    This one here.

    https://www.amazon.com/KUBEY-Finish...=8-49&keywords=high+carbon+steel+pocket+knife

Thinking about getting another..as this one is just the right size for most of my uses.

What surprised me about this knife is that it was razor sharp..right out of the box...and I mean razor sharp.

I decided that for what I wanted...Tool Steel was the way to go and was willing to pay a bit extra for it.

But with Tool Steel...you have to take care of it better than the stainless knives.

Now if I can just keep it out of the hands of the boneheads at work.

    Thanks,

This is just another variation of "Herding" people down the chute to the slaughterhouse. Leaving them defenseless while the two legged wildlife remain armed.

This is what intelligent government people do...they try to "Herd" people down the chute to the slaughterhouse while they live in gated communities with protection details paid for on the public purse.

You have to be educated to become this giftedly stupid....but English Leadership has certainly so done.

And much of our leadership here...want Americans to be just so defenseless..while the two legged wildlife runs amok and harms us. Leadership here want us to become as Englishmen...defenseless...in word...deed and spirit.

As long as the people believe the government is doing what they can do give "The Appearance" of looking out for them some will buy into it and vote for more stupidity.

Two legged wildlife is not that naturally stupid. They understand very quickly when you are on the verge of putting them six feet under and conduct themselves accordingly ...they go for easier prey.

For some who know...this "Herding" is also called..."Dumbing down of the people."

Shortly I will be going down to the post office on my scooter to mail some correspondence...and also by the grocery store to buy some stamps.

I will be carrying my Ruger GP 100...four speed loaders and a 18 round wallet of reloads....357 Magnums.

I will also be carrying that new pocket knife I linked in my previous post.

Am I looking for trouble...certainly not.

I just have little use for two legged wildlife and try to avoid them if possible.

Antifa to me ...falls under Two Legged Wildlife.

I can appreciate and respect the motivations of four legged wildlife better than the two legged variety.

Four-star restaurants -- usually located in major urban areas -- use high carbon steel knives. These knives will rust like nobody's business, so extreme attention is paid to taking care of them. In NY, NY there are individuals whose career is to go to restaurants after-hours to sharpen and oil these professional grade knives. Owners pay big bucks for this service. Note also that these knives will lay your fingers open to the bone if you look sideways at them. Service staff at these restaurants wear special gloves when using these knives to cut meat and fish. The experienced chefs know their game, therefore still have their finger-tips.

I have no idea what these knives cost. I guess I should have asked. I also do not know what the hardness scale setting is to where the carbon steel blades are manufactured. It is NOT hard steel -- the knives readily go dull, thus the need to perpetually resharpen them. They wear out and must be replaced. I think they wear out far more quickly than people's kitchen knives. You wouldn't want these knives in your kitchen, because they are way too much trouble. But think about how paper thin professional chefs are able to slice veggies -- gotta have a razor to do that.

Barbers used to put scary edges on their shaving razors. To this day, you can get some serious charges brought against you for carrying a razor.

    And then there is:

    Olde Geezer,

Before I began to think it through I remember being astonished to find out what a professional barber/hair cutter paid for a professional set of hair cutting scissors...and had them professionally sharpened.

What a professional painter was willing to pay for a professional quality paint brush..or brushes...and learned to keep and maintain them.

And so too would it be for a professional chef...with their professional kitchen tools.

I have for my kitchen a set of Chicago Cuttery knives on the knife block and try to maintain them sharp with my hones and the steel. I hate trying to cut a nice tomato with a dull knife...aggravates me to no end. But some of them have been replaced over a number of years.. as they wear out.

Decent knives for home use costs monies as well..and Chicago Cuttery ..while up there ...is not the top of the line....rather common now days.

It is the same with my hand tools....even some of my power tools.
After years of working in this shipyard..I know what tools can work well and take a beating....and come back strong and what tools will not. Also what tools are professional quality.

I have a 1/2 inch Milwaukie corded electric drill. It is professional quality and I have used one like it many times in this shipyard. It is about all the drill I will ever need the rest of my life.

    But............................

Like those professional chef's knives..do not disrespect this drill....

It turns slow compared to other drills but has a tremendous amount of torque. If it locks up ..it will spin you around like licorice stick. I have learned this the hard way..and not repeated it since those younger days.

Thanks for reminding me...of what a professional is willing to spend for professional quality.

These 4 college kids that got hacked / stabbed to death up in Idaho is very disturbing to read about. At the crime scene, there was so much blood pooled that it ran out of one of the outside doors.

Guy pulled a knife on my pap, so pap had to shoot the guy. The thought of getting cut-up is grizzly. Can't handle that, will just shoot the m.f. Statistically speaking, when a knife is used in a robbery, there is a higher likelihood that the victim will be stabbed. Firearms robberies, the victim hands over the money and the guy usually just runs away or steals the victim's car. Knives are not as loud as guns except when the victim screams to death.

The concept of TANSTAAFL is a concept that my Father drove into me and I more and more find to be true. THERE AIN'T NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!!! What this means is that any time someone starts exponding the great side of something that you need to figure out the OTHER side of things. Stainless steel knives are great example of this. Yes stainless steel resists rusting and requires little attention but the price you pay for this in a knife is that it is harder to keep sharp and is harder to make truely razor sharp. Stainless steel compared to good high carbon steel is brittle and the edge instead of turning or just slightly dulling it chips and when it dulls is nearly useless.

Where stainless steel knives shine is in wet, especially salt water wet, uses. It is also nice for people that want a knife but don't want to pay it any attention as far as caring for it. Where it sucks is when you are usung it almost constantly and a razor edge is wanted or needed. I probably have between one and two HUNDRED pocket or belt carried sheith knives. I like to handle them and find sharpening a knife relaxing. I collect them and seldom go for long without adding to my collection. I have also done some knife making and my favorite knives are often ones that I either made or modified to suit my tastes.

For a long time I carried two pocket knives. One was for my primary knike use and the other one I loned. Eventually I reduced it to just one and do NOT lone my knife to anyone. People that don't carry a knife that work in a place where it is allowed just don't know how to use one and can't seem to understand why I get furious if they break or bend the blade of a knife I lone them. And they freak when I DEMAND that they replace what they broke with the SAME knife brand and style. I had one guy try and replace a Kershaw that cost about 50 dollars with a dollar store knife. In the end I offered him the choice of replaceing it or I woud take it out on him with a piece of his ass ripped off and ramed down his throat. He finally replaced it but never understood why I was so pissed off. ??? I helped him a little by offering to bust the windshield of his truck out with a hammer. As he told me, "No big deal you can buy another one!"

I will never sharpen a customers knife to "Razor" sharp. I make them very (extremely sharp) sharp but not shaving sharp. 1) Razor sharp knives (shaving sharp without any drag) will dull very quickly. 2) Telling somebody the knife is Razor sharp, just invites them to test it out, by trying to shave their hairs, thus inviting a trip to the emergency room. My sharpening equipment can make an edge razor sharp but I see no reason to do it. I have had to purchase a cut resistant glove to protect my fingers. I have gotten several cuts when cleaning off the honing compound. So far, not a single customer has asked for a sharper knife. I do have to work on sharpening axes and hatchets.

    Love my Kershaws.

One needs a knife that can be opened with one hand and locked. If a knife doesn't lock then it can fold and cut the tops of your fingers. When I need a knife, I'm usually holding a rope or wire in my left hand. I must open the knife only with my right hand alone.

I curse the communist "do-gooders" of Europe. May they all meet a horrid fate at the hands is the interlopers they've let into their countries. Those who wish to rule over others to "do good" should be put down.

I am not likely to ever go to England so what is legal there is of no problem for me . Today though I got out my box of pocket knives to pick me out a new pocket knife to put in my pocket . Over the last two months I have lost two pocket knives , so I needed a replacement knife . Several years back I bought a package of knives from one of those knife shows they often show on television . I am well satisfied with the quality of the knives I received . I gave some away and kept what is likely a lifetime supply for myself . Even in the knife sector , my thinking is in the prepper mode .

My view is that the restrictions on knives in the UK were a political move. We have exponentially increasing knife crime, largely related to drug gang wars. The UK police lost control of that situation some years back and have not regained it (too busy policing thought crimes and promoting LGBTQ concerns - no really, it's true). So in the light of continued police failures and apathy the UK government chose to restrict knives. Obviously this has had precisely no effect on knife crime whatsoever but has allowed the government to claim that they are acting. The problem with all of this is that if, for example, a carpet fitter pops into a shop to buy lunch and forgets he has a Stanley knife in his work trousers pocket he is liable to be jailed for up to seven years. This is because it is up to the arresting officer to decide whether or not it was a legitimate carry. It's a ridiculous situation and one quick scan of the daily papers will show that there are knife related killings every single day now - so frequent that they barely get a mention beyond that of a paragraph on page 7.

most knife crimes in Britain are either machette terrorist attacks or gang related in which case they use any kitchen knife they can get hold of and not from a shop but from home, so stopping someone because they have a folding knife in the car to peel their wife's picnic apple (its happened) is just a nonsence, as usual its the easy targets that are arrested not the criminals.

As economies collapse, hopefully governments will also collapse. This will go a long way to free self-sufficient people.

As far as weak, non-self-sufficient people go ... who cares?! They're dead anyway.

I trust rural and working class people. When it hits the fan, they will kick-out all outsiders and get on with their lives.

thats the hope, as the UK economy collapses the Govt if it dosent collapse completely will retreat and will only hang onto the capital if indeed it can even do that and leave the rural regions alone.

There was an interesting post on YouTube a while back where they asked a guy, who was over 18, but looked very much younger to buy a machete in a garden centre. Not only was he not asked for proof of age, the person on the checkout did not even really look him. The machete cost £7 - now there's an easily disposable weapon if ever there was one. Single use and into the local river.

it shouldnt be up to a shop worker to be a security guard too, the lad should have been asked for proof of age but that is all, but I expect the till operator just didnt want to get involved, thats a question for the police to ask.

If you want to commit suicide in a survival situation I will hold your beer. Unfortunatly it seems to be more common with many of the more European people that I have known for them to want and sort of expect for you to do it for them. A people that are so inbred and untrustworthy that they can't be trusted with a small pocket knife needs to be at least steralized or preferably put down.

If we ever actually ever have to live through a REAL survival disaster a great majority of people are going to just all but lay down and die for no real reason. Now days very few people really understand what their body needs for them to survive...IT IS NOT VERY MUCH!!!! Hunger is NOT a sign that you are near death!! My Mama was one of those people that seemed to think that if you missed a meal you were in some sort of danger. Once I moved out I just sort of ate when I was hungry and NOT based on a clock. I still only eat once a day and if I miss that meal it isn't a big deal.

I went 14 days once without eating and only ate then because my Doc was afraid that my blood sugars were getting low. I FELT fine. We were evolved eating a sort of catch as we can and when not we just moved on. By doing that I am well ahead of most people in that I KNOW from experiance that I am not going to be greatly bothered if I miss a few meals.

Humanity survived and even now survives in places and times when almost nothing else can get by. We can eat just about anything and our bodies can adapt to almost ANY climatic situations. I guess that the only other crature able to do almost, but not quite as well. would be the bears. That said though they don't cope well at all with deserts or endless swamps while humanity lives and thrives from pole to equaters and from sea level swamps and deserts to mountain tops.

If you understand this you will survive when others die simply because you won't worry or fret yourself to death. Mankinds one GREAT weakness is his ability to let his mental worries overwhelm his physcial health. A CLEAR understanding of just how massivly tough a human body is is in itself one of the things that will prepare you to best survive.

I dont know that its anything to do with being trusted with a knife its more about control, most knife crime is to do with the gang culture and the victim is usually another gang's member, so the Police should be focussing on the gangs rather than members of the public, but the public are an easy target arent they?
as for survival (a bit off topic for this thread) most members of the public wont know how to or have the skills or knowledge to do more than complain and maybe protest in the street, once the shops are empty and the power grid collapses that will be the beginning of the end for 99% of the UK population.
you see, the modern British population, as opposed to my generation growing up, have not been taught to make their own decisions, they have to be told what to do, if they arent told to do something then they dont do it, if its not on the "chit"-written instructions- then it dosent get done- that is true in all forms of activity in the UK.

I doubt seriously that many crimes are committed with an Old Timer pocket knife. The thing is that if I want to kill you with a pointy instrument I might just run you through with a pointy stick just out of meanness and the desire to make a POINT that a knife is no more deadly than a pointy stick that can NOT be outlawed or controlled.

I've carried a pocket knife since I was about 7 or 8 years old when my Dad gave me his old knife when he got a new one. I carried it faithfully for decades. Back then guys even carried them in school. If a female teacher needed a knife she would just borrow one from a student. I never understood why ladies didn't carry a knife back them. My wife and daughter both have and carry a knife. LOL, My daughter carried a freaking big pig sticker in her hip pocket. I keep it razor sharp for her. She almost ruined the last knife that she tried to sharpen.

I have never harmed anyone with a knife BUT on several occasions when facing several adversaries I pulled out my knife, checked to make sure it was razor sharp by shaving part of my arm hairs off then would smile and ask, "OK, Who wants to start this dance?" Nobody has yet offered to get it going. People seem to have an aversion to getting cut. I have been cut or cut myself so often that I don't even bother with a Doctor any more and just close it up myself with super glue and tape stitches. That doesn't even leave a notable scar and heals faster than stitches.

like you say Tex, very few if any crimes over here are committed using a pocket knife, I have carried a pocket knife most of my life and have never threatened anyone with it and never will, not even to stop a fight starting.
like I said the knife laws here are about control of the law abiding not to stop crime.

UK law required the vendor, so in this instance the shop worker (who was acting as the vendor's representative) to carry out the necessary checks. It was an offence for them not to do so. It is also important to consider that, on a Saturday many staff are part time young people who are not 18 years of age and therefore not allowed to make the sale of a restricted item yet, at the same time, they are the groups least likely to have the confidence to refuse such a sale.

I considder a professonal lifetime politician a MONSTER that needs to be eliminated from our political system. The problem is that they are not a real part of the population that they are ruling. In order for a government to truely be self ruled it needs to require the peole that run for office to be real citizens and not part of a ruling class. Honestly what does a Kennedy know about life as it is for an average citizen. If you are a Kennedy you can get away with murder!! Laws mean almost nothing to you except as a way for them to control the "little people".

Politics should be a one and DONE thing and not a lifetime leach like attachment to the American people. It was NEVER intended that politicians were to be a ruling class that allowed the same people and famillies to ride the peoples backs for generations. In general the founding fathers found politicians and politics in general to be extreemly distastful and most viewed people that wanted to make it a life work as being about as bad as the British Royalty and rule.

a politician should have a limited time period, like an American President who can only serve two terms, in Britain anyone can be a politician for as long as they like provided they are voted in each time.

Crime is caused by the ready availability of victims.

Gangs form when they can do what they do without getting seriously injured or killed. Wherever there is a demand for drugs and the populace is of the mind to not fight back or is forbidden from fighting back, even denied the means of fighting back, then gang activity will flourish. Firearms laws and knife laws mean nothing to gang-bangers.

Due to urban Leftist policies of "being understanding" of hoodlums, the USSA is now crumbling. In Heartland America, drug dealers are far less tolerated and the cops often go Old Testament on them. Therefore there is less crime in the heartlands. BUT THIS SURE IS CHANGING. The cancer of crime is oozing out of the cities even into Nowheresville, America.

This is especially true of Hispanic gangs. There are many existing Hispanics living in agricultural regions -- they provide the labor for farming, because poor Americans don't work, they draw a government check due to having kids with no dad around (after the breeding happens). Unless gang-bangers have tattooed their faces, people just assume they are laborers. Thank goodness that many gang members who are the real killers have facial tattoos. This is why gangs like MS-13 are sending their teenagers over the border, to expand territories. Many of these teens have killed and should not be though of as "cute kids".

A lot of the time crime is created by the creation or enactment of a law, the law may be stupid, anachronistic, illogical or unenforceable but it still criminalises ordinary people.
Currently the law to buy and sell air guns in the UK doesn’t tie in with what actually happens. In law you must be a registered firearm dealer to buy and sell airguns however this is ignored for private sales, not legal…The law requires a registered firearms dealer to keep a separate record of all airguns transactions but it is nobody’s job to check that record….again it is simply ignored….no one wants to know. The law was created when the government was considering licensing air guns, in the end only the famous nanny state of Scotland went ahead with airgun licensing because the rest of the UK decided it would be expensive and impractical but we are left with some half baked legislation that is simply an embarrassment.

I disagree, crime is not caused by the availability of victims. That is to place the social responsibility of criminal on those who suffer from it. Criminal intent is very often preplanned and executed (Brinksmat robbery, the largest bullion theft to have occurred int he UK). That was not due to availability of victims, it was a business operation. I suspect that much of the UK's street crime is also planned and orchestrated on a poor but organised basis.

In the UK a very many gang members do get injured and killed, in fact, as we have seen mentioned on other threads it is becoming an almost daily occurrence. I can see that people coalesce towards gang culture for social inclusion, perhaps for safety in certain neighbourhoods. It certainly appears that gang members have little or no respect for the law and, as you vey rightly say, knife and guns laws are meaningless to them.

In the UK we do not have Hispanic gangs so it is not possible to make a clear comparison. The nearest are perhaps "county lines" gangs who are not really gangs at all but seemingly a network of dealers who liaise with each other. This situation arose in the early 1980s when the bike gangs controlled the supply of drugs and things were fairly low key. The Government at the time asked the police to crack down on the bike gangs after a series of minor, but serious, violent clashes. The Home Secretary at the time (I think may have been William Whitelaw but may have been Geoffrey Howe) was opposed to a crackdown as the police had a good working relationship with the bike gangs. Regardless the crackdown went ahead during the 80s and unwittingly opened the door for upcoming young black guys to form drugs gangs in depressed areas that suffered racism. The police (who at the time were predominantly white) were unable to penetrate those gangs in the same way as they could penetrate the bike gangs as the younger black gangs were formulated from within their local neighbourhoods (rather than ex military etc) and there was at that time a lack of black officers. The policing situation has changed over the years and, I am pleased to say, has become much more ethnically diverse and societally representative but the earlier damage has already been done and although the UK police work hard in the fight against drug crime they are able to do little more than firefight.

It is very difficult to infiltrate these county lines gangs because they move onto the home of a vulnerable person or drug user under the threat of violence to remain under the radar, as soon as the police do become aware of them the drug pushers just move on. This is called cuckooing. They use kids under the age of criminal responsibility to act as couriers. The kids know full well that they’re not going to be prosecuted by police, the drug addicts know not to try and steal from the kids. The kids get a small cut of the money, a certain amount of protection from the reputation of the gang and hope for a chance to move up the food chain

there is something here called "county lines" drug dealing, thats where drug gangs spread out from the cities into the smaller towns, normally using younger children as drug runners.

Gang-bangers are killing the dickens out of each other here in the States. In Chicago, gangs lose 20-30 members in gang battles each week. Even given this reality, gang-bangers aren't afraid.

Felons and gangs have little to no fear whatsoever of regular citizens in urban and suburban areas up North and out California way. In the South, they stand to get shot by civilians and prosecutors do not prosecute righteous self-defense shooters. Therefore home invasions rarely happen where felons risk getting lead poisoning. It happens, there's even agricultural families who get attacked, but this is very rare -- more people die by lightning strikes.

Most violent felons are thoughtless monsters. In America, there's little to no planning in felonious attacks. But even felons with IQs in the 80's realize that they had better not go up against armed citizens. So they pick the weak.

Within any population there is no shortage of people who have zero empathy and who, given the opportunity, will steal from others, even kill others who resist or get in their way.

"Criminals Prey On The Disabled And Vulnerable"

    https://www.crimeinamerica.net/criminals-prey-on-the-disabled-and-vulnerable/

    "Highlights

"The rate of violent victimization against persons with disabilities was nearly four times the rate for persons without disabilities. But the story regarding vulnerable crime victims goes far beyond the disabled.

"We come to understand what fellow cops told me at my first bloody domestic violence call, 'violent criminals are cowards. They only victimize the vulnerable.'

"Veteran officers warned that I would experience a multitude of criminal victimization involving women, smaller individuals, the elderly, children, and the disabled."

    UK Government advice

"Criminal exploitation of children and vulnerable adults: county lines"

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...f-children-and-vulnerable-adults-county-lines

"Criminal exploitation of children and vulnerable adults is a geographically widespread form of harm that is a typical feature of county lines activity. It is a harm which is relatively little known about or recognised by those best placed to spot its potential victims.

"This guidance is intended to explain the nature of this harm to enable practitioners to recognise its signs and respond appropriately so that potential victims get the support and help they need.

"We do know that county lines exploitation is widespread, with gangs from big cities including London, Manchester and Liverpool operating throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

"Gangs are known to target vulnerable children and adults; some of the factors that heighten a person’s vulnerability include:

    • having prior experience of neglect, physical and/or sexual abuse
    • lack of a safe/stable home environment, now or in the past (domestic violence or parental substance misuse, mental health issues or criminality, for example)
    • social isolation or social difficulties
    • economic vulnerability
    • homelessness or insecure accommodation status
    • connections with other people involved in gangs
    • having a physical or learning disability
    • having mental health or substance misuse issues
    • being in care (particularly those in residential care and those with interrupted care histories)
    • being excluded from mainstream education, in particular attending a Pupil Referral Unit

You're right, but there is also more to it than that, the impenetrability of the actual gangs seems to present the police with the most problems - years ago it was relatively easy to get people into the bike gangs, the way the more recent gangs are developed rules that out.

A lot of "weed' grown in the UK is done in rented houses, allegedly by Vietnamese gangs, they place a couple of people in the house to look after it, but those people may only know the one person that recruited them.

The simple fact is that the UK police lack resources and are only ever fire fighting, they are underfunded and understaffed and, I will say this because it really irks me, spend too much time trying to ingratiate themselves with woke people by putting out TicToc videos and dancing at Gay Pride instead of fighting crime, which is what we pay them for and what they are there to do. Sadly policing in the UK has become merely reactive over the last decade.

I think a lot of that is down to the higher ups in the Police Force who tend to be woke.

I agree, they could be so much better at their job by actually being a police force not a "woke thought police force".

The fact that the Crown Prosecution Service is under staffed and under funded should also be raised. It means that the police can only “pick the low hanging fruit” as anything short of murder that is seen as too difficult or expensive to prosecute will not proceed. I’m sure that even the good police officers who actually want to make a difference to society eventually get disheartened by this.

everything is understaffed and underfunded these days, NHS, Police, etc.etc.
thats the blanket excuse for anything that provides a poor service.
the whole damn system is falling apart at the seams.

This is down to cuts in funding from government - the reason that most government departments are failing is budgetary cuts.

Police numbers have been falling year on year ever since 2010, I did some research on this back along.
training new officers takes time and even if lots of people want to take up the role, doubtful in this day and age, it takes a long time for them to be allocated to a specific Police force.
