If the weather goes bad somewhere on Earth, you must give up your private property so that the displaced people of that country can move in.

    https://www.breitbart.com/clips/202...-to-live-somewhere-youre-very-much-a-refugee/

"During a town hall on CNN on Friday, Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry discussed giving people fleeing climate change refugee protection and stated that we want to try to attack the root causes of migration, but if people 'can no longer grow food or there is no ability to live, then you’re very much a refugee.'”

If this is the international communist stance on migration, I think we Americans are entitled to move into Canada; certainly at least during our hot summers. The liberals in Canada should be onboard with this. I mean, gee whiz, since private property no longer exists, why would Canada object to a couple hundred million Americans leaving the heat and moving onto their land?! Fair is fair!

    ----------------------------------

"Climate change creates migrants. Biden considers protections"

    https://apnews.com/article/joe-bide...-immigration-59e47e0a9e3ad183a5dc4a6d8cb5f576

"No nation offers asylum or other legal protections to people displaced specifically because of climate change. President Joe Biden’s administration is studying the idea, and climate migration is expected to be discussed at his first climate summit, held virtually Thursday and Friday.

"The day the summit starts, Democratic Sen. Edward Markey of Massachusetts plans to reintroduce legislation to address the lack of protections for those who don’t fit the narrow definition of “refugees” under international law. It failed in 2019.

"Biden has ordered national security adviser Jake Sullivan to see how to identify and resettle people displaced directly or indirectly by climate change. A report is due in August.

"It makes sense for the United States to lead the way, being a principal producer of greenhouse gases, advocates say.

"The United Nations says there may be as many as 200 million climate-displaced people worldwide by 2050.

"The U.S. may define the displaced as climate migrants instead of refugees and offer them humanitarian visas or other protections."

    =========================

So, if a few hundred million "climate change" refugees move into America, I think we should all move into Canada. Doesn't that make sense?

Communist prime minister Trudeau of Canada should have no problem with protecting a few hundred million Americans.

sure you can all come just be ready to pay the highest income tax in north American,
    socialism is not cheap.
when you buy some thing you pay
    Québec GST + QST 14.975%
federal tax Example #2: If you had $50,000 of taxable income, you'd pay 10% on that first $9,875 and 12% on the chunk of income between $9,876 and $40,125. And then you'd pay 22% on the rest, because some of your $50,000 of taxable income falls into the 22% tax bracket.
    provincial tax of quebec
2020 Quebec income tax brackets * 2020 Quebec income tax rate
    $44,545 or less 15%
    $44,545 to $89,080 20%
    $89,080 to $108,390 24%
    More than $108,390 25.75%
and then there is municipal tax which is the highest in north american.
then every time you buy or sell there is more sur tax
so yes you can come and we with taxes you to death
also there is no mortgage tax deduction.
but you do get free medical, also almost free college education,
child supplement, the most liberal funding of sorts of programs .
In truth i do like it because all people taken care of in a nanny state
so you almost never see people all f@#k up like in the united states .
when i was working i paid about half of my salary in taxes .

This global warming is freezing my butt off.

Freeze warnings for tonight. Wind warnings on top of that.

Where I'm at, go out into Mother Nature's turf in the forested mountains tonight, you'll have on your long-johns and good coat, or you'll be dead. Know how to build a campfire? If you don't, you'd better be right with your Creator.

    Seventies yesterday, freezing tonight.

If you are at altitude, you'd better have attitude.

But being away from the cities, you can see the Milky Way unencumbered.

"He does so as He pleaseth."

Being mortal, Infinity is a bit much to take.

Here are some videos of tornado damage in the deep South. This happens every year as far back as history has been reported in this flatland area of the country. Poor folk buy trailers ("mobile home") and if they get hit with a tornado, they are gone. Sometimes it looks like they have exploded. Sturdy buildings lose their roofs. These vids are out of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. Heaven only knows how many tornadoes were generated by this storm front. A mother and her 8-yr old son were killed in a sturdy house; a large tree cut the house in half. In one of these videos, you'll see a trailer cut in half by a tree.

The mountains of Kentucky are pretty safe ... so long as you don't build near a mountain creek (river during Spring melt). But in Kentucky's flat-lands ... uh-oh. Middle and Western Tennessee gets "interesting" weather also.

Give me the forested mountains. Bad weather at altitude? Don't go there. During the icy winters, the winds up at 5,000 ft and above will scoot vehicles as if they are toys. Many roads do NOT have guard rails where their are nasty drop-offs -- might as well be a cliff, you're just as dead.

Too, sometimes roads go away. Saw one of these myself when a kid working a summer job with the forestry service. The side of a mountain just gave way and the road slid off with the rest of the landslide.

"The Parkway is closed to all uses from Milepost 121.4 (U.S. 220) to Milepost 135.9 (Adney Gap) due to a full road failure caused by heavy rains."

This is why a prepper has to find multiple routes for entering some area or bugging out of where you are. Roads go away. Airports get shut-down. ... I can't even begin to count the times I've had to take back-country roads (some unpaved) when major routes were closed due to wrecks or huge trees falling across them.

I prefer back country roads, being a rural area most roads where I live are single track roads. I often drive across country using back roads.
Devon roads are known for being narrow and deep.

"'Greenland Block' Could Pour Arctic Air Across EU In First Proper Test Of Power Grids"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/weather/g...arctic-across-eu-first-major-test-power-grids

"Temperatures across Northwest Europe are set to dive well below average for the first half of December as an Arctic blast will be the first real test for the energy-stricken continent's power systems."
    ----------------------------------------

For anyone who is interested in meteorology, the following article has the details on what is causing the current temperature dips in Europe and North America -- the L O N G story. Too much detail for me -- I just prepare for the cold.

"Weather: A significant double-blocking pattern will bring a cold Winter start in December, disrupting the circulation and unlocking the cold air"
