3. Germany, with Poland absorbed along with the artificial small countries nearby; Moldovia, Estonia,

France to be another Switzerland/Med Islands for holiday travelers

The general concept of collectivism mightily affects preparedness for hard times.

Where there is individual liberty, one can observe and decide that situations in the world speak to becoming prepared for some really nasty events which unfortunately happen in cycles in our world. Weather goes violent. Earthquakes perpetually occur and not always where the geologists expect them. Nations go into non-sustainable debt and their currencies collapse (national currencies collapsed over a dozen times, almost two dozen times during the 20th century). There are wars, civil wars, plagues, crop failures, space debris crash into planets, ...

Thus one prepares for hard times ... where there is freedom of choice. In collectivist-think, preparedness is called hording.

In a free society one draws no attention buying in bulk. I can buy any knife I wish. I am now restricted as to which firearms I can freely / anonymously purchase due to the controlling collectivists. I can purchase private property, but I must pay the government for this right (the bullies demand their toll, i.e. taxes). My income taxes here in America are 1/3 that seen in Europe, but under a collectivist regime, my paycheck will be royally raped before I get the money -- a big chunk of this going to prop-up irresponsible people and fund a political party to which I do not belong (monies to "aid the poor" are siphoned-off by urban political machines before getting to wherever they were supposed to go).

In a collectivist society, should I wish to prepare for hard times, I must to a far higher degree conceal my activities. Indeed, I would have to find as rural a place as possible to conduct preparedness activities, else trigger the suspicions of the redistributionists. Should I wish a repeating firearm, I would have to purchase it on the black market. Today in England and Europe, the serfs are not allowed to buy firearms for the purpose of defending themselves from the growing hordes of aggressors. Some countries in Europe are beginning to stand up to the insanity of collectivism, therefore the European Union is starting activities to punish the countries who will not lick their boots.

Preppers lean to Liberty, i.e. conservatism due to the tremendous risks involved in kowtowing to the Left. If I am somehow evil due to my unwillingness to share that which I have put back for my family with total strangers who have done nothing to prepare, then I am evil.

If people are so stupid as to embrace communism no matter what name communist want to hide behind , perhaps they would be better off with some fat guy telling them where to live , how to dress , what to eat and what their labor assignment is . ---My descendance are not of that ilk . They are people that will grab a fire arm and put their life on the line to defend freedom without hesitation . They get out and sweat to earn what they have . Probably most on here could say the same thing about their descendance . I don't know what sort of people we have monitoring this forum that never say anything . -- The point being the people that made a nation great will suffer right along with the scum that destroyed the nation if it falls . I won't go into my children's abilities here (OPSEC) but will say there friends already turn to them when the situation gets bad. My fear has always been that my children will have to deal with the communist, because my generation did not complete our mission of completely destroying communism. Now I can see it coming.

My question is. Is the change coming the same as communism that I grew up with (Old USSR, China, Cuba, etc.) or is this some one world order that resembles communism but is more of a dictatorship? Liberals are already great for do as I say, not as I do.

IMO, No.

The form of government in China also changed along with the substance. It is still a central, autocratic government with one political party. Yet, the old Marxist stuff like color-coded Mao jackets have been replaced. Citizens can travel overseas if they have the money. Gong dong Province / old Canton next to Hong Kong does much politics and business outside the purview of Beijing. It's been going on back and forth for a couple of decades now. Foreign bank accounts are no longer within the province of Beijing - although they'd like it to be.

The new Russia and the spin-off buffer zones of the Czars like Kazakhstan, are just places in slow decay.

My favorite example is Laos. IT is formally a Communist government. In practical terms, the masses have little and the political establishment has it made. Whether a French colony, a neutral country or the current set-up; not too much is new under the Sun.

Re US foreign relations, I use a scale of 1% - 100% and place a line at 90%. About 90% of US problems in it's foreign relations are domestic matters and it requires domestic US solutions. General Stilwell warned about the changing China and the US faulty-alliances. FDR fired Stilwell. Won't mention MacArthur.

This thread I thought was appropriate for today as Trump has given up and is preparing to hand the United States to the communist . I know some may be offended by me saying the Kamala regime is a communist regime but in my personal definition it is . The next election will be even more securely rigged for the desired outcome . There are several inevitable events coming up that will weaken the Left.

Iran being re-enabled will start a war in the Middle East -- that sure isn't up for debate (Saudi Arabia has sworn to go nuclear if Iran is not disabled).

Bad earthquakes are overdue in North America. These coming quakes and their sequelae will be very economically draining to our already tenuous economy.

Chinacovid lockdowns will further disembowel our economy.

The Leftists will print massive amounts of funny-money. This will play into the hands of countries such as Russia and China who wish to replace the U.S. dollar with their own international exchange currency. China is absolutely gleeful that the USA is morphing into the very controllable USSA. Shoot, the Chicoms have already bought-off loads of high-ranking office-holders in D.C.

The Left has no friends within state law enforcement agencies. They have no friends in the fighting military. The Left has plenty of traitor friends / deep-state folk embedded in the Pentagon, however that doesn't mean that they can control the real troop who break things and kill people.

The list goes on and on. The smiles on the faces of the anti-Americans are going to get wiped off pretty soon -- the "bad things" will likely get started in 2021. Certainly, 2022 could be / will be an apocalyptic year here on Earth.

I remember once when I was working for the forestry commission , we told a guy that had about 80 acres of a treeless landscape the government would pay to have it replanted in pine trees if he would pay a portion of the cost . He looked around at the unused land , thought a few seconds and said no at my age I wouldn't be able to get the money from the timber sale . This thinking process had no regard of the help financially he could provide for his children . My thinking process simply doesn't work like that . My descendance future goes into my prepping plans .--- Seeing how a lot of people vote makes me think they only vote for whomever promises them the most free stuff with not any regard to their descendance or their country's future .--- I have had people be around me and my descendance a few days and make comments like they had never seen a family unit work together like our clan does , I have heard comments how it was so great to get away from their own family with all the vulgar talk , anger and arguments within their own family .
