I'm creating this thread due to the convenience of the name. It's easily found in a search of this site.

Too, the name is self-explanatory, Orwell's book "1984" is well known.

Seems we are today living in Orwell's prescient dystopia. So, here is a place to bring current events to the attention of others. Current events are paralleling the book.

I do not believe our dystopia will survive. I don't think the bad guys will win. I think we all stand to loose and loose in a big way. As a matter of fact, I believe that we survivalists, even us old guys are going to witness a mass die-off of the Earth's human population. In the past, Socialist Utopias have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions of people. Gonna happen again.

During the Trump administration, there was one quarter of negative growth and the Leftist cabal began screaming RECESSION! at the top of their lungs. Here in 1984, the media is run by liberal activists all living in urban areas -- i.e. cut-off from the Heartland, contemptuous of the Heartlanders.
