Volunteers also learn at these emergency medical exercises.

This Delaware request for volunteers for the medics to train with is a common enough request by the other states also.

It is an excellent way for those new to the prepper community to learn about mass medical. You'll see various durable pieces of equipment, the medical cabinets besides the medical kits. Plus, you'll probably see the multi-colored triage tags in use. They're expensive so not used too much as the local level.

Typically, your basic questions to the responders (all responders are not medics) will get answered so you know what they're doing.

Sometimes the air evac helos are brought in.

When free lunch is provided registered volunteers, the training is important to the state !
