A few years from now and much of this will seem funny.

To me, it's already funny.

 

Anything to kill the bacteria beasties! Although mouthwash won't do anything to or for a virus, basic hygiene will help you body fight off the infections that viruses can bring.

Herbal Mouthwash Recipe:

• 2 cups filtered water.
• 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon sea salt
• 4 drops spearmint essential oil
• 4 drops peppermint essential oil
• 2 drops clove essential oil

 

Most "cold/flu" related illnesses are not actually spread by coughing and sneezing. Transmission tends to be primarily by touch. For example, I am infected, I sneeze into my hand and then touch a door handle, you use the door handled shortly afterwards and have elements of the virus on your hand. It gets into your system when you touch your face (which we all do on average as much as six times per minute) and it penetrates the mucus membranes (eyes/nose/mouth/genitals).

Mouthwash is unlikely to decrease one's chances of becoming infected.

 

Like I said in another thread. The face mask is like part of the Asian attire. I've seen them use a face mask long before the coronavirus outbreak, etc. Yet they continue to eat nasty things like snakes, salamanders and bats. Now I know in Genesis and Jesus himself said you can eat anything that moves about, but I really do think there is a limit. Or at least test the crap for diseases before you eat the crap.

 

The facemask thing began, I believe, as a pollution combatant.

 

I don't use a lot of mouth wash. I brush with toothpaste..rinse then rebrush with hydrogen peroxide 3%...rinse.

I don't get a lot of that good morning breath.

Don't use shaving cream in the cans as well...use soap.

I think a lot of that mouthwash and shaving cream in the can stuff is conditioning for getting into your wallet.

Have masks as well as cartridge respirators here...cartridges too.

Clove oil kills some nasty bacteria types and has been an ingredient in herbal mouthwashes.

I soak fruits and spices in grain whiskies to make mixing compounds. I keep an eye on spices that have flavonoids galore.
