Not sure how far or fast this one will go but have any of you heard of HR 8051???

I suspect a lot of fast ones will er pulled to get this one passed with minimum opposition...and or just enough to make a quorum...like just before Congress goes on recess...

What people fail to understand about our American system of government is that while the founding fathers made our system about majority rule, they also spent even more effort in preventing the "majority" from denying others both equal rights AND equal representation. Majority rule without these restraints rapidly becomes a horrific little piece of hell.

We not only have freedom OF religeon, we also have freedom FROM religeon. They spent almost as much time and effort protecting the minorities as they did making rule BY the majority the rule of law. The sad fact is that the openions of a thousand idiots cannot be allowed to rule above the un-common sense of a few.

I fear sometimes these protections are being slowly erroded out of existance.
