The "real world consequences" are really going on. BBC Studios and Greta just don't know about the real world.

Public schools in the US just might be ending when 14 years old and then on to the labor force. There is a labor shortage here. Greta helps the image of working ( the image of; she's not doing any productive labor activity).

If only we lived in interesting times.

This child's parents have set her up for a fall. She'll be needing sacred cause this, or sacred cause that, the rest of her life.

Such is not going to happen. At her age, she cannot understand the phrase, "Washed-up," -- however, she'll come to know it well.
