I can't remember when or where I read such drivel. I can't believe that people are actually paid to study this, and other people, probably us taxpayers, are paying for it.

 

Those so called academia were doing it for institutional rating. It doesn't matter if its silly or dumb, its about the number of published research paper and public exposure. Without those two component their institutional rating will took a big hit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying every research papers out there are only for rating, some of them are pretty damn good (as in useful)

Why a 1000 ft high tsunami annihilating the entire Bay Area of California would deeply benefit the USA. It would at least be a beginning. King Neptune could also remove the cancers of L.A., Seattle, Malibu (Neptune could at the very least wash away the Malibu melanoma). On the North American east coast, King Neptune could wash-away / cleanse America of the cancer extending from D.C. north up to Boston.

It's really a case of money talks bullshit walks just like the garbage in, garbage out science of "global warming/climate change" what ever the word du jour is. Here I thought back in the 80s it was all about toxic waste...

Now what it this all about relating to money? Money funds scientific research! Money does the talking and nothing more! And those with money and an agenda can do an awful lot of damage.

Socialism results in the micromanagement of the lives of citizens. Socialist leaders consider people who prepare for hard times to be hoarders, thus enemies of the state. Collectivist mantra, "All wealth must be distributed out to the people." In most countries, a serf of the state must give Big Brother a reason to purchase a firearm. In places like England, one can get into trouble for harming a burglar. When the scum of society are considered equal with the productive people, then that is the end of civilization.

The European economy appears to be alive, however it is being propped-up by a network of loans that is indescribably fragile. There is severe rage at England from the European Union because England dares to leave. The EU needs England so that it may be sucked dry to pay for the infinite social welfare state on the continent. A majority of immigrants flowing into Europe receive government checks paid for by the tax dollars of productive people who do not engage in criminal behaviors.

The economies of Europe and the USA are debt-based and will collapse. The only question is when that will occur.
