    The US portion of this COVID-19 pandemic has a growing cottage industry. Just like the consultants of yesteryear, we now have experts in PPE.

    I've worn both canvas and denim scarves. The canvas scarf was a tool bag from an Army truck with the thin metal bar removed. The denim scarf was an extra jeans folded on long axis. I still froze. Now this places is loaded with scarves - wool, fur (Don't tell Ingred Newkirk of PETA), composite with that firefighting material.

    What about form-fitting googles as an accessory ?

    Add to the homemade mask some of the "household material" like a rectangle of HVAC filter and presto a fashion statement !
