Amazon is developing it's own in-house COVID-19 test lab.

I consider this the right direction to go.

At the micro-scale to this, the reason I am a Prepper and not a survivalist is because of the roadblocks to establish an "in-house" medical clinic. Virginia requires a Certificate of Public Need for a blood lab and the Feds have ultra-strict requirements on some basic pharma - used by M.D.s !

Rural living means minimal to no health care available. Yo Yo - You're On Your Own - applies. In real emergencies, the building will still / might still be there - but not all health care staff.

America has changed.

Hopefully Amazon produces more than a hint of how to correct our situation.
