Billions of public funds are spent fighting wildfires.

Who approves the construction permits ?

Do these approving authorities ie the senior people staffing the org, have jeopardy (risk) ?

Who builds the residential structures ? Do these builders have campaign contribution obligations ?

Has the insurance market stopped this years ago because of the non-insurable situation ?

State regulates utility rates. State regulates maintenance or lack there of. CA won't let them maintain the easements nor enough funds combined with over regulation of all aspects of their business. So, poorly maintained equipment and easements means fires and electrical failures and shutdowns. We talk about Venezuela being unable to keep the electricity on, well CA is swirling the same drain for the same reason.
