The real problem is the location. The train not needed in the Central valley area. It is most appropriate for the Eureka - Redding market.

Had received a couple of emails re this train to nowhere story.

Our consensus is that it's in the news as the equivalent of artillery "softening up the battlefield for an attack". Her excellency is from California and soon enough the California system goes into collapse.

The railroad to nowhere with empty train cars adds the slow learners to the political battle.
