    Article leads with a good picture. Note the emergency cots. Contractors HATE this type !

    Author tells of the 2007 era when the People's Democratic Republic of California had 3 mobile field hospitals. The state's politburo knew of no need for them nor support supplies like face masks.

    Much of this overall topic is like Cold War preparedness. WWII/Korean police action ended so close the places down - but keep the machine shops with tools ready to make things in case of an emergency - and the rest of this type of thinking.
