EEE = the horse virus disease that transmits to humans.

It's here in Virginia also.

Good info in article re protective measures.

Note that a mosquito can "bite" through cloth that's tight against the skin.

We're not a society that routinely uses mosquito head nets. I have one packed inside my hard hat ... actually it's a bee keepers net.

Still, prudence is required as to locations for events. Use this same prudence for weather emergencies such as hurricanes and their related emergencies such as flooding. Many a pool of water for mosquitoes to breed in....
