    Hello all. I too came over from the sinking forum. Saw a lot of familiar names here so I thought I would join. I am from Lower Alabama and have ridden out several hurricanes. Longest time without power was about two weeks after Frederick.

    Glad to have you on board , I am a former deep south resident as several more members are at /or were . I decided to uproot my family kids and all and move to a more survivable location for the apocalyptic future .

    Welcome to here, Mike54, from a fellow Gulf Coaster and 'cane rider from deepest, darkest Louisiana where I spent much of my life. (19 hurricanes, plus countless tropical storms...fun times!) I am in the mountains now. (What in the fresh hell is that Cajun doing in the snow?)
