Been thinking about picking up a chainsaw winch, maybe a lewis brand. I've not used one but it seems like it would be handy for pulling wood out of the swamp.

I seen one that someone had made out of a old broken electric winch. They worked it over to be powered with a chainsaw.

I like a come along . it can be used to pull logs, cars, docks, rocks, stumps, and anything else you have. Just need some good rope or cable and something to tie to . Buy the biggest you can get .

They are great when working alone and needing to move logs or large rocks. Used one years ago for building hiking trails and log bridges. Chainsaw winch, come-a-long, chainsaw and a few hand tools can build yourself a new world if you no how to use them.

    Needed hand tools

    1. brace and bits
    2. axe
    3. adz
    4. drawknife
    5. hammer and chisels
    6. Crosscut saw
    7. Ripsaw Or a chainsaw for these 2
    8. Rock drill
    9. Feather and wedges
    10. Stone chisels
