Church Shooting In Texas

Once again a nut decided to shoot people in a church. We had one that was bad a year or two ago. That guy managed to shoot a bunch of people but was then chased off and eventually shot by an armed civilian. WELL in Texas we learn. Today a guy stood up and shot and killed a person. Within THREE seconds several armed people had drawn guns and the terrorist was DEAD. THIS is gun control Texas-style. When good people can legally carry arms the bad guys are outnumbered and outgunned.

There are bad people everywhere. Gun-free places and gun-free cities are open invitations to terrorists and thugs to come and kill the good but unarmed people. Any place that takes the guns and the right to defend away from their citizens have taken away their freedom. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness can't be had unless you have the ability to demand it and protect it.

 

That one guy cleared his holster and fired a perfect headshot in under 3 seconds. There were 5 men that pulled their handguns. There is no telling how many the terrorist would have killed with that shotgun had this been in California or New York. There is no way to prevent bad people from doing bad things but there is no way in Hell that the people in Texas will ever again be slaughtered like sheep. That ended with the slaughter in Killeen. That is the act that made us toss out a liberal administration and make the right to keep, bear and USE our guns in self-defense a constitutional law. People that live in liberal anti-gun states need to take note. You CAN force change. We DID!!! We changed the law forbidding people to carry in Churches and Synagogues effective September First. Good call! Some school districts are now allowing their teachers to be armed.

 

I am aware that certain churches here in Virginia have carefully and quietly authorized people with training and skills to carry concealed when services are taking place. This has been going on for several years now. I approve of this....about time.

Now Texas needs to pass Constitutional carry as their law should have always been. Federal Reciprocity needs to be addressed right away too. If I can legally carry a weapon in my home state then I should be able to legally carry anywhere else in the United States.

Biden reportedly called the Texas governor stupid for signing into law the ability to carry into church.

There is no chance of federal reciprocity while the democrats hold the house.

He continued, "I'm thankful to GOD that I have been blessed with the ability and desire to serve him in the role of head of security at the church. I am very sad in the loss of two dear friends and brothers in CHRIST, but evil does exist in this world and I and other members are not going to allow evil to succeed. According to the outlet, Wilson reportedly responded to the attacker's fire within five seconds.

The problem with this is that we live in the United STATES and not the republic of America. The essence of a State is that each state has the right to make its own laws and decisions as long as those laws and decisions don't impact the rights of other people that live in other places.

The reason for this is that when you take away the rights of people to be different you end up with endless strife. Our founding fathers were trying to avoid the endless wars that have always swept through Europe by uniting us while at the same time protecting the individual rights of the states to regulate and live as they see fit. The civil war was fought over the First REPUBLICAN President and the liberal congress of that time's efforts to take these rights away. The next civil war will be fought over the same thing. I assure you that the South is just as willing to fight over their right to keep and bear arms as they were to fight in the Civil War. Rights should be supported even when you don't agree because when the government starts taking them away you don't know where it will go next.

 

Using that theory, each State should decide whose drivers license they accept and whose marriages they recognise.

 

The various states do indeed have that right and in the interest of facilitating commerce and or common sense....they decided to so recognize the other states drivers licenses and marriage licenses.

However with todays caliber of Fallen leadership, hell bent on seizing power to enforce one size fits all, except for leadership, chaos seems to be where we are going and common sense to the trash bin of history.

Note what is happening across this country with marriage and religion under attack and with it the family as intelligent educated wise men try to redefine everything in order to gain more votes and power over people and this nation.

This is how entitled Ishmaelites work...they spread chaos in their religion of entitlement beliefs on the public purse.

If you're referring to the South being the 11 US states that comprised the Confederacy, can you augment your assurances mentioned above ?

I ask this because Virginia was the only southern state to go for Hillary. Since then, the recent November Virginia elections have been called a microcosm as to the new reflection to elections, less electoral college votes.

The US has changed much since after the US Civil War/Reconstruction. Our middle class population is now populated by socialists along with a political leadership, for the most part, of accommodating socialists. These socialists are also hedonists - pleasure seekers. This is the bread and circuses crowd. There are reasons volunteer fire departments are understaffed and public schools are overstaffed (here mostly with non-teachers).

I believe the US Civil War - Ft Sumter onward - was less a Lincoln administration matter - than something in the making since 1776. The Federal system of government never really worked. FDR figured this out.

 

The very sad part of that is that Paul Ryan the RINO held it up and kept it from coming to a vote when the Republicans held both houses then he quit his job after the Dems took the house. He is almost as much of a traitor as John McStain

I was taught that the Vietnam war was for the purpose of finding and developing the oil fields in Vietnam on and offshore and then capping them off...building the new oil refinery in the U Ming forest area.

This is what accelerated the war and protests in 1970 culminating in the USA with the protests and the Kent State University killings....clearing out all the VC and NVA from this new economic development area...for the new oil refinery in South Vietnam. North Vietnam already had an oil refinery since before WW2.

Once this business was settled sufficiently the oil explored and capped off, the refinery too...the nation was allowed to be overrun by the Northern Communists.

Someone out here has discovered that Communists are the perfect tool for putting an entire nation and it's resources in storage and off the marketplace. Competitors kept out. They are too stupid to do much economic or social development on their own without massive outside help and development. And so Vietnam has been allowed to go into storage.

It appears to me that someone is attempting to use and misuse Radical Islam in like manner to how they used and misused Communism to control markets via fear techniques.

Radical Islam...in like manner to Communism...is too stupid to cause economic development or markets...but they are perfect for frightening unthinking television and movie educated people...emoting people ... not thinking people.

Actually, Vietnam and the US presence wasn't about oil. At the time, the US was loaded with oil. The US ran it's colony called Saudi Arabia and a US contractor "assisted" running the Saudi National Guard. The 2 big oil embargoes here resulted in the political establishment sending 7 trillion dollars to the Arab oil barons (add the Shah in Iran [ Khomeini arrived for his revolution on a Elysee Palace charted Air France aeroplane).

To free up France to protect their Algeria, the US took over Vietnam. It was a trade-off to keep France from going neutral in the Cold War.

America's Eastern Establishment made a deadly mess of prosecuting the Vietnam war. Recall the draft deferments, the guns and butter economy and eventually, LBJ's intro of permanent deficit financing.

Recall Teapot Dome was a Naval Petroleum Reserve.

We are slowly coming out of debt but this requires a reduced standard of living.

A columnist writing at AZCentral.com suggests it was “terrifying” that parishioners were armed at the church in White Settlement, Texas.

On December 29, Breitbart News reported that a gunman at West Freeway Church of Christ opened fire, only to be shot dead by an armed parishioner. Jack Wilson, the good guy with a gun, was one of many parishioners who drew their guns to fight back when the heinous attack began.

On December 31, Elivia Diaz, editorial columnist for the Republic and AZcentral.comreacted to the quick takedown of the gunman by claiming that Wilson’s defensive gun use “has turned into a PR tool by gun advocates.”

But she is quick to stress that Wilson “wasn’t just an ordinary parishioner, as gun advocates may want you to believe.” Rather, she points to New York Times‘ reporting that noted Wilson is part of “the church’s volunteer security team member, a firearms instructor, [a] gun range owner and former reserve deputy with a local sheriff’s department.”

Diaz then turned her attention to “the at least six other parishioners” who were armed and “who also appeared to draw their handguns at West Freeway Church of Christ.” She added, “That’s terrifying.”

She did not explain what was terrifying about parishioners being armed nor did she point out their self-control or the responsible conduct they demonstrated while their firearms were drawn. Rather, Diaz wrote, “Have we really reached a point when each of us need to carry a firearm anywhere we go? Gun advocates certainly think so. They point to Wilson and the new Texas law that allows him and others to carry firearms inside the church.”

The church attacker had a shotgun. He was stopped by an armed parishioner and there were perhaps six or more other armed parishioners ready to step in as well. Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) described these parishioners as “immediate responders” who were there before police could be.

 

When seconds count...the police are only minutes away.

Remember what I stated....Keep the oil in the ground thus not affecting prices. At the same time keeping competitors out.

It's ok to know where the oil is at...but you have to keep prices up at a profitable level and competitors out.

Another version of this is a rigged marketplace. Vietnam was brought into the 20th Century at taxpayer expense by way of a war. Just like Iraq and Afghanistan.....brought into the 21st century...by way of a war.

America has become a boot lackey to protect someone's private resource fiefdom at taxpayer expense...in blood as well as dollars.


I knew none of that Iraq oil was going to be allowed in the USA to offset the cost of the war...it would lower prices in a rigged market.

I've heard many speakers since those days talking about rigged marketplaces in the oil business for many many years now. One of them was a minister to the workers on the Alaska Pipeline construction.

I think that company was Atlantic Richfield...and the Green People worked very hard to devise any method to keep the pipeline from completion. This minister also found out how big that oil field really is....not the officially released press stories.

And this was before fracking.

I have since learned that wells are being drilled all along the artic levels up onto Canada...west to east.

Some in the US establishment recognized that the US could have no safe presence for oil development on the southern periphery of China. They lost the arguments to JFK and the "Eastern Establishment".

Of course the oil market is not market economics. After the Wilson and FDR administrations, the US changed to a permanent socialist market economy. The US and UK controlled the world oil market place until OPEC and the soon after loss of Saudi ARAMCO. This major US loss was corrected and redeemed by Kissinger when he created the NYMEX oil futures market. NYMEX has a close relationship with ICE London - International Commodities Exchange London.

The Alaska Pipeline was an emergency supply line in case of other oil embargoes. It's easy to locate the oil pools in the US and Canadian Arctic. Just look at the wilderness preserves and national parks ... ares off limits to economic activity. My favorite park for a picnic and relaxing time is Ivvavik National Park, Yukon, Canada. Remind me to bring sunscreen and extra paper towels to our picnic.

Oil is plentiful. Just look at a US Gulf Coast map. Offshore oil drilling is not present in Florida for tourist trade reasons.

Meanwhile, the US political establishment allowed for the transfer of $US 7 Trillion to the Middle East oil barons.

President Trump is stopping the racket and is catching the political sparks.

The demise of JFK changed a lot in this country and secured the future for the Ishmaelites of this world through government as a private fiefdom and without most catching on.

Kennedy was shot November 1963. Eisenhower had already approved the secret war against Indonesia and their PKI (Communist Party). After WWII's dust settled - both radioactive and regular - Communist governments were in place from the Baltic to the Pacific.

It is difficult to say what the Kennedy administration's plans were for Vietnam. LBJ, a Southerner, (still had the White House being ruled by the Eastern Establishment,) inherited a mess and received conflicting views on how to address a US presence in Asia.

LBJ suffered a palace coup d'.

So did Nixon.
