    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...t-limits-on-daily-lives-due-to-fear-of-crime/

"According to a survey by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå), around half of students avoid certain people, activities and areas due to a fear of being the victims of crime.

"The school survey, which questioned 6,000 students across the country, revealed at 56 per cent of girls and 46 per cent of boys were so concerned about becoming victims of crime in their everyday lives that they place various limitations on where they can go and who they interact with.

"Anna Gavell Frenzel, an investigator at the National Council for Crime Prevention, told broadcaster SVT: 'It is worrying that there are so many students who feel anxious and it is problematic that you feel that you cannot do certain things out of concern about being subjected to crime.'

"48 per cent of the students stated that they had been the victims of some sort of crime."

Sweden has yet to register bombs. Once bombs have been registered, they can be confiscated and the bombings in Sweden will end.

    https://www.jihadwatch.org/2020/05/...d-gang-violence-increases-despite-coronavirus

" Bombings by Muslim migrants have long turned many areas of Sweden into a war zone. Sweden saw some 230 bombings in 2019 alone. The majority of shooting suspects were from Africa and the Middle East, and some Swedish politicians have also blamed the large flows of immigrants who arrived in Sweden during the 2015 migration crisis.

"However, whistle-blowers (among them a police officer) were 'met with heavy criticism for suggesting that migrants and those from migrant-backgrounds were behind the vast majority of serious crime in the country.' In 2017, a 'police officer who broke ranks to reveal that migrants are to blame for the vast majority of serious crime in Sweden' was put 'under investigation for incitement to racial hatred.'

"Silence has become the norm in Sweden when it comes to Muslim gang violence — which includes not just bombings, but also rapes. Less than two years ago, the Daily Mail reported that 8 out of 10 'stranger' rapes in Sweden were carried out by migrants, prompting Tomas Tobé, shadow Minister for Justice, to warn: 'We must also dare to acknowledge that there are cultural and normative problems, such as with some young guys from Afghanistan, with whom we need to deal with.'

"Unfortunately, such discussions have been virtually silenced. Few dare to discuss the lack of assimilation by Muslims who exalt jihad, see infidel women as sex slaves, and infidels as inferiors. This silence enables globalists to permit more unvetted migrants to flow in with no accountability and no consideration for the security of Swedish citizens."

Another country trapped in raw denial of reality

Secular Humanism in all its glory

"Sweden: 829 hate crimes against churches, media blames ‘right-wing extremists’ and ‘mentally ill’"

    https://www.jihadwatch.org/2021/02/...blames-right-wing-extremists-and-mentally-ill

"There is another possible culprit, found in large numbers in Rinkeby, Tensta and Kista. These are people whose holy book teaches them that Christianity is a perverted version of the true teachings of Jesus, that Christians are unbelievers for believing Jesus to be divine (Qur’an 5:17, 5:72), that Jesus is not the Son of God and Allah curses those who say otherwise (Qur’an 9:30), and that it is false to say Jesus was crucified (Qur’an 4:157). But such people are not even considered as having any involvement in this, despite the fact that they have been involved in the desecration of numerous churches elsewhere in Europe. To raise such a possibility, even to open it up to be disproven, wouldn’t fit the narrative. It would be 'Islamophobia.' It would be 'hate.'”
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...weden_now_its_the_swedes_who_are_fleeing.html

"In migrant-surged Sweden, now it's the Swedes who are fleeing"

"Oh, sure — the idea of taking in thousands of unassimilated and hostile Muslims into Sweden's cities may have sounded great to the country's central planners. Its own population after all, is in a death spiral as a result of its past socialist policies, which created a high-cost, low-marriage, low-child, graying country with a potential pension crisis. But Sweden also wanted to virtue-signal to other countries as it opened its gates to all comers and drew all that U.N. praise.

"What this report signals is that Sweden ended up exchanging its well educated, law-abiding, and high-social-capital population for an unemployable, uneducated, lawless, and low-social-capital one. The central planning here — and as this excellent New York Post article notes, it is a country with a lot of central planning — didn't quite work out the way they thought it would. Sweden isn't gaining the population its social engineers thought it would gain from this top-down maneuver; it's actually losing its most productive citizens as an unintended consequence, because for every unassimilated refugee coming in, a Swede is moving out."

As was brought out in one of the articles listed above, one can get into a lot of trouble for speaking the truth. In the above example, a police officer was blacklisted as a racist for telling the truth. Students at university routinely kicked out of classrooms for not bowing to the Secular Humanist dogma of their communist professors.

America is headed towards its second civil war; however America is not alone. The world is at war. Collectivist Borg-Think is out to crush religion, independent ideas, capitalism, and all Liberty in general. I am encouraged to see Americans arming-up. I'm encouraged seeing panic in the eyes of collectivist office-holders. I'm encouraged by seeing countries in Europe standing up to the vulgar EU communist dictates. I see hope, but only after cleansing wars and economic collapse. The world is going to be brought down before it can ever be built back. The current world order is going to be crushed. The human casualties will likely run into the billions.

British disarmament of the citizenry has resulted in a near-Utopian existence in that fair land.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...its-new-record-high-44-000-offences-year.html

"Wild West Britain exposed: Knife crime soars to record high of 44,000 offences a year with robberies, gun crime and fraud also up - but number of crimes solved drops to just 7.4 per cent with only 1.4 per cent of rapes ending up in court"
    • "Shocking figures show rise in knife and firearms offences in England and Wales
    • "Robberies, public order offences and pickpocketing are also up by around 10%
    • "Meanwhile, separate figures show the number of solved crimes was just 7.4%
    • "For rape, less than one in 50 reports to police ends up with someone in court"

No fixation. Simple retort. If it is stated that things are getting better in the UK, that the riots of the past are just that, a thing of the past, then one is compelled to correct such an observation.

The continued flow of people from violent regions into the UK coupled with the disarmament of civilized British citizens is a recipe for disaster. The men of the UK are being denied the means to protect their families from those given to usurping other cultures. The women are being exposed to an ever-increasing threat. Meanwhile the socialist government tells their underlings that they will just take it. Multiculturalism is more important than the safety of the populace.

The nation of Hungary gets slam-dunked as "racist" for simply telling the truth:

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/uknew...f-immigrants-claims-the-hungarian-government/

Increasing rape rates in the UK coincide with increasing numbers of immigrants from violent countries. The Left considers it racist to point out truth. Even with the arrest of rape gang members, truth continues to be denied. Don't worry, be happy. Turn in your guns. Lately, it has come to the mind-numbingly absurd idea of knife control.

How about this, what about asking that these hyper-aggressive men attempt to control their glandular activities. Preppers must prepare to defend against aggressors irrespective of government dictates. What we are seeing is the rape of Liberty. It is a basic human right to defend self and family from aggressors.

try reporting crime in your own country, plenty of immigrants there, sure knife crime is a problem in the UK, at least we dont have regular mass shootings, a lot of the knife crime over here is either gang related or ethnic in origin, its all in the cities, what do you expect when you confine thousands sometimes millions in the case of the capital, all "cheek to jowl" with hardly breathing space in between , there is bound to be problems. cities are breeding places for discontent, thats why I dont live in one.
last serious crime we had here was 8 years ago and that was a gang from the Birmingham area. nothing else since.
big WW2 German bomb was found in Exeter during the weekend.

It’s officially now an offense to LEAVE England

    https://www.sovereignman.com/trends/its-officially-an-offence-now-to-leave-england-31709/

"After four hours of debate yesterday in the House of Commons, the United Kingdom has approved an emergency measure that will, among other restrictions, fine Brits who LEAVE the country without a qualifying reason.

"Ironically, the British government insists they can legally impose these new rules because of authority that was granted to them under a law called the Public Health Act… which just happened to be passed in… 1984.

"Starting on Monday, anyone who leaves England must submit papers making a certified declaration of their reason for leaving. The authorities will then retain the discretion to fine travelers £5,000— nearly $7,000, if the reason isn’t valid.

"The government has provided a list of 14 valid excuses, such as a professional football team traveling for a match. This is totally fine.

"But someone who wants to attend a religious pilgrimage is forbidden to travel. So is someone who wants to visit an elderly parent they haven’t seen since 2019, unless it is a parent whom the traveler 'reasonably believes is dying.'

    "How magnanimous."

List of valid reasons a British citizen is allowed to leave the country, link:

    Good morning Old Geezer,

HM government's link presents more cloudiness than clarity. Re 8 (a), to seek medical assistance .......... What medical assistance is not available in the UK ?!

I am impressed that the land of Edmund Burke, John Locke, Gladstone, ... that 10(a) allows:
a UK person to leave the UK to attend a wedding / civil ... when P, the person, is one of those involved in the marriage / civil partnership.

Was Londonderry, Northern Ireland time wasted in setting up a fish fry in the Irish Republic ?

its only illegal to leave the UK for a holiday/vacation, there is a third wave of covid in Europe and they are going into another lockdown , we dont want tourists bringing it back with them on their return, especially if its one of the new variants.

    Good morning Lonewolf,

I'm sure you know that what Old Geezer posted allows for public opinion molding when combined with other tools of the opinion-molding trade.

No Brit's going to be stopped from traveling to Asia to collect a large contract payment for deposit in London.

Quarantines are a required aspect of government and travel restrictions are a typical requirement. There's a historic flag ocean-going vessels were required to fly when in port with infected about the boat. Forgot what it looked like but saw an original one at Mariners' Museum south of here in big town.

I think you'll find it was a series of small flags flown on a ship in quarantine.
Brits are allowed to travel it just depends on the reason, business travel is allowed, weddings and funerals are allowed but not holidays-at least for the moment, domestic holidays in UK will be allowed, I think its after April 12th but foreign holidays are not allowed, I dont think anyone will be forcibly stopped from going but will have to pay the price when they come home, a £5,000 fine is a big deal for most people.

I like to think you more intelligent than this......though we don't always agree...

Mayhap I am mistaken...I thought this was an international forum.....open to people from all countries ...not just America??

But this Lonewolf.....Wow!!!!! Not smart Lonewolf...not smart..

When this thing turns rabidly loose....the crime wave will triple or more...no not guns Lonewolf...but possibly vehicles in the manner that happened in France...was it in Nice?? That fellow ran over some 80 plus people???

Now that was a stunner to me...

2016 Nice truck attack - Wikipedia

I can also remember some years back wherein several bombings went on in the UK on public busses....or was it trains???

London bombings of 2005 | History, Facts, & Map | Britannica

No ...you don't have gun crime.....I'm impressed......no not really.

Don't get me wrong here Lonewolf...I do not blame you one bit for choosing to move out into the country....wise move I think.... considering what is happening in the UK's bigger cities and will only wax worse and worse as more and more Ishmaelites take over and begin to run wild...including your leadership...

The Ishmaelites who are running your nation into the toilet are now in power here in the USA and are hell bent on repeating the process here sufficient to Herd America and Americans into the toilet bowl ...as are you Brits and Continentals.

I knew things were taking a turn for the worse in the UK when a fellow told me that it was getting too expensive to go to the Pub for a brew...

Don't worry ..it will get that way soon enough here in the States.

    Ishmaelites run wild...

The UK is riddled with problems, society on the verge of collapse, preppers praying for the cities to burn LOL yes the UK has issues but...we don't get the mass shootings, we've not got over 600,000 dead from covid. Last figures I read we had 220 knife deaths and 33 death by firearms, the USA had a little over 14,000 dead including over 600 from loonies calling themselves sovereign citizens.

Worry about yourselves mate, I'm confident we will trundle on in true British fashion :)

Here's why the US vs Europe has high murder rates.

Even during "college" Spring Break, we have people gather who are unable to control themselves. Many of these "spring breakers" are not college students.

    https://www.wmbfnews.com/2021/03/15...lague-miamis-south-beach-during-spring-break/

These folk are shooting each other and driving over police with their cars.

The 13.5% of Americas who commit 51% of the murders have THE lowest firearms ownership rate.

"Of the 1,024 bicyclist deaths in 2018, 682 died in motor-vehicle crashes and 342 in other incidents, according to National Center for Health Statistics mortality data."

Each year in America over 800 Americans, mostly young people, die by bicycle. Over 300 die in bicycle wrecks that do not even involve being hit by a car.

Mass-shooters don't even come close to the death-by-bicycle rates.

In 2017, the number of mass shootings almost made 100, but not quite. Semiautomatic firearms have been available in the USA since the 1890s; they became popular in the 1920s and have been so ever since. In recent decades the mass shootings have become mostly copy-cat killings. Nut cases see how much attention the main stream media gives mass shooters (tens of millions of dollars worth of coverage) and want to become famous/infamous -- infamy is fame to a psych case. Insanity increases in America as families break up. The media has also managed to murder religious belief which is also a building block of civilization and sane behavior. No God + no afterlife + no transcendent purpose to life = insanity and violence. The big lies were killers in NAZI Germany and are killers even unto today.

To some extent the American fascination with Britain has to do with the connection that most feel with it. We fought two wars defending Britain from Germans and for decades stationed missiles there that were a hands-off sign to anyone that wanted to attack you. For a long time we considered England as a part of the free world that we were a part of and at the very least brothers in intentions.

France hates us and always have. I hope that the next time Germany sends a platoon to "conquer" France that we just let them have it. Slowly over that last 20 or 30 years Great Britain has slipped off into the same liberal mind set as France and is less and less favorably inclined towards the US.

That is probably a good thing because as we sink into the mire of liberalism you can bet that we won't come to save you again. Liberals probably wouldn’t defend our nation much less someone else’s. Yes, you have Nukes but when those get tossed three big bombs thrown back at you will kill most of your citizens and all of your economy. In a nuclear war size does matter. Four would do much the same to Texas. Great Britain isn’t as big as any of the three biggest US states and that leaves 48 states not counted.

I am of the last generation that has a feeling of connection to the British nation. I had family that fought and were stationed and flew out of England in WW2. I was raised on movies where we fought with you against the Germans. Your kids don’t remember us and our kids don’t feel any closer to Britain than they do Poland or Italy. Germans are slowly taking over Europe and are a force in the US. Germans never forget who they are and never give up.

LOL my Mother’s maiden name Was Brunner, and I am half German and half Scott/Viking. We are ALL well over 6 foot tall with blue or green eyes and pugnacious as hell. I am the runt of my family at 6’ 2” and only 225 pounds. When I talk about the Germans or many of the British, I am talking about my heritage. There is a small town in England with my last name. Brunner on one side and McClure on the other makes for a rather hardnosed 5th generation Texan! I have great respect for the people of my heritage and unlike many feel a connection to that past.

I'm a bit of a bastard myself, my birth mother was an English female from Wiltshire, my birth father was an American G.I., I was born 3 month premature out of wedlock. never knew either of my birth parents. never been to America and probably never will, although I have been to Canada where I had relatives, since deceased.
I was taught by my adoptive parents to stand on my own two feet and to not rely on others for anything, life experiences have made me evolve into a "stand alone" recluse and prepared survivalist.
I dont think there is much of a connection between Britain and USA these days, the "special relationship" is a bit one sided-just ask the Dunn family about that- and your President hates Britain, and I dont think the younger American public give a damn about a small island sticking out into the Atlantic, for sure some might come here on holiday but thats probably more to do with the rate of exchange than anything else.

I'm minded to agree with most of the above, however I believe like most people in the western world these days we have become as a nation too liberal, "Woke" is more of a religion than religion is and we have bred a generation of snowflakes who if the worst happens wont be able to survive on their own merits.

I'm not convinced people have been able to survive on their own merits since people started building and moving to towns and cities.

I'm with you on the 'Woke' movement, access to social media means everyone has a platform to spout shite which gets shared by other gullible young teens (and some old folk too).

We have a 'cancel' generation now where if you don't agree with a view you get cancelled and thats a really bad thing; all its doing is shutting down debate which is not healthy because shut down debate and you shut down free speech. Universities are shutting down debating societies in case they offend a minority group etc which is crazy in the extreme.

You want to see riots on the streets? Shut down all the social media platforms for a month and see what happens.

there are two sides to every debate, shut down any opposing views and you only get one opinion, that is not free speech its communism or at least a dictatorship which amounts to the same thing.

as for moving to cities, "specialisation" is never a good thing, better to be a "jack of all trades than a master of none", spread the knowledge around rather than on just one thing.
when a civilisation collapses, as they all do eventually, even this one, in the past the survivors could access their daily needs by their own knowledge and skills, I dont think this is possible in the modern technology driven age .

Communism is often nothing more than dictatorship by committee IMO and little to do with socialism.

Quick question, to all, how many books did you have at home (not counting public libraries) when a child and how many do you have now including ebooks (stored with multiple offline backups of course)?

That is probably a good thing because as we sink into the mire of liberalism you can bet that we won't come to save you again. Liberals probably wouldn’t defend our nation much less someone else’s. Yes, you have Nukes but when those get tossed three big bombs thrown back at you will kill most of your citizens and all of your economy. In a nuclear war size does matter. Four would do much the same to Texas. Great Britain isn’t as big as any of the three biggest US states and that leaves 48 states not counted.

Under Trump the U.S. had free Europe's back . Now under Biden Europe is dangling in the wind under the illusion somehow their future will be secure . This complacent attitude will likely be taken advantage of somewhere in the future . From what I gather Europe Citizens will bow down to their conquers perhaps with a Very few preppers that have self sufficient capabilities being hold outs . Even those that kid themselves into believing they could be self sufficient , will in the end have to face reality .

All a communist country has to do to conquer a panty waist country is to inject hardy ground troops into the country of their desire . This would leave the country of conquest with inability to stop the troops with a nuclear response as they would be nuking their own country . --- Actually though seeing how the communist had such good success conquering the U.S. without firing a shot and without destroying it's infrastructure and resources , I would expect a repeat in Europe of the same tactic . Exploit it's political system and warp it's intended structure to gain control over the little people and quietly subdue them into submission .

When a kid we had few books; under 20. Parents got an encyclopedia set. I would sit and read the World Book Encyclopedias. At home we usually kept a library of over 300 books when the kids were kids. I'd say we have over 500 books now. When moving, these are a section of the truck unto themselves -- a true burden to move yet books are gold.

One day soon, there could be no internet and libraries could be closing due to municipalities going broke. Libraries are treasures.

    Good afternoon Max,

Cannot provide exact numbers; only estimates of books.

Growing up I had about a room full plus many floating around apartment. Many were from the war. One of only a couple still here are: "WOODWORKING AND FURNITURE REPAIR - Repairs And Utilities" War Department Technical Manual TM 5-613, June 1946. Also grew up with atlases and maps. One given to my daughter was map of Manchuko, Japan's newly created country in China.

Currently, one wall of my long study ... built over a removed 40 ft ocean container ... is a floor to ceiling bookcase with mostly books. One shelf has accordian file folders with important Army regulations such as the one from US Army Alaska prohibiting the consumption of salmon except for red sockeye salmon. All other types only fit for dogs. Closely related as a reference tool, I have some foreign phone books. Some in English some not. Atlases all over here.

Misc; With my large and elaborate book shelf from floor to ceiling, does not mean easy access. I do not/cannot not safely stretch. I do not /cannot safely bend down.

    No e-books are here.

An addendum; For illustration only. When replacing above book, bumped into 3 other heirlooms (sp?)

    1. "WORKHORSE OF THE WESTERN FRONT-The Story of The 30th Infantry Division - Tennessee And North Carolina National Guard" by Robert L. Hewitt. The photos alone are valuable. IMPORTANT: Please be assured if these Generals, Sergeants and soldiers worked the "events" in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, ... all these places would have sophisticated vaccination programs as of today. I am a living witness to the changes.

    2. "USE AND CARE OF HANDTOOLS AND MEASURING TOOLS", Dept of the Army Technical Manual TM 9-243, September, 1960

    3. "WHARVES SHORE STRUCTURES AND DREDGING-Repairs And Utilities", War Department, June 1946.

    ....................

Also please be assured none of these mentioned books would last a day at RAND Corporation. They'd be trashed.

I had to build up my book collection after the divorce which in a way was good because I've become selective with real books, ebooks I've downloaded runs into thousands.

I love paper books but to be honest Kindles are a great invention. Years ago I could only really take two or three books

Easier to believe if you show the evidence you base your sweeping and incorrect statement on.

Post BS and the pile gets questioned.

    Good morning Max,

Yesterday I saw your post insisting on references in re continental Europe being "written off" by US now. Had waited for Poltiregist to reply to your insistance.

I personally had posted links here about this subject. One link by a retired Israeli General had the subtitle "Europe has been conquored but they don't know it yet". In my notes the General's subquote generated some material.

The reason I am not posting anything here for matters of collective education is because I also read your post with "Communism is nothing more than dictatorship ... little to do with Socialism".

I've worked in Communist countries and negotiated with their governmental agencies. If you do not / cannot see any difference between and among Communist countries and the Banana Republics south of here ...... and the Islamic Republics ...... and the Democratic Republics, would I be wasting my time posting material ?

Please don't answer. I do not want to contribute insults in reply to an otherwise excellent survival website. Learning this material takes decades and not a television show. I have more than a hunch you're not transmitting from your Spanish home.

It again changed when the Biden Administration returned the US to the Paris Climate Accords. They are about economic stiffling and not cleaner air to breath.

You don't have to insult, thats not a prerequisite for debate I thought and I'm all for collective education thats based on facts.

With your C.V./Resume I'm surprised your not working for the UN sharing your knowledge base (genuine observation not meant to insult).

I used to be on a forum where one or two others kept asking for proof of everything I posted, it got boring after awhile, somethings need to be taken on trust or else we would be having to supply links for everything.
some prepping things are normally long known about and accepted.

I agree Lonewolf but come on, you have to challenge an obviously flawed post.

Got my online radio ham test this week, the first day of a new hobby I'll throw myself into with vigor :) Campervan, ham radio, lifting some restrictions and Snowdonia only three hours away...life is good :)

    -----

    MSM report:

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/russia-troops-ukraine-border-concerning-united-states/

"Training exercises were always a possible explanation for the buildup, but a U.S. defense official told CBS News that the locations and types of units seen on the ground didn't line up with what the Russian Ministry of Defense had announced last month."
    -----------

"US Army Raises Europe Threat Level To 'Potential Imminent Crisis' On Ukraine-Russia Fears"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...otential-imminent-crisis-ukraine-russia-fears

"... the US European Command (EUCOM) has issued a notification of a raised 'threat level' in Europe. The designation has been officially raised to one of "potential imminent crisis" this week. It comes just as The New York Times and others are reporting a serious escalation in fighting in Eastern Ukraine, which has signaled the collapse of yet another cease-fire.

"The raised threat level centers on Ukraine's commander-in-chief of national armed forces alleging that Russia has amassed more troops on its border this week, and further that 'pro-Moscow separatists were systematically violating a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine,' according to Reuters.

"Kiev's parliament followed by announcing a sharp 'escalation' in the east - a contested region which has seen 14,000 deaths going back to 2014.

"The NY Times had linked the raised alert status by EUCOM specifically to Ukraine, writing 'the U.S. military’s European Command raised its watch level from possible crisis to potential imminent crisis — the highest level — in response to the deployment of the additional Russian troops.'"

Not all news out of Europe is negative. Some still stand with God over collectivism.

    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...l-for-god-but-not-blm-ahead-of-england-match/

"The Polish national football team refused to take a knee for Black Lives Matter ahead of their match with England this week, while the English players knelt as usual.

"The incident took place just prior to Poland match against the English team at Wembley stadium in London this week for a World Cup qualifier match, ahead of the 2022 World Cup set to take place in Qatar.

"While Polish players were seen kneeling and making the sign of the cross as they made their way onto the pitch, these were gestures of Christian piety rather than deference to BLM.

"Instead of taking a knee with the English players when the time came to signal 'solidarity' with the movement, the Polish players pointed to 'Respect' badges on their sleeves. The move comes just a day after members of the Czech Republic’s national side also refused to take a knee ahead of their qualifier match with San Marino, newspaper Tygodnik Solidarność reports."

There were always books in my parents’ home and they always would buy me something to read. they were both readers and when I was a kid my bedtime was just the time when I had to go to bed but I could read for an hour or so in bed. I am a MASSIVE reader and read more than I watch TV or listen to the radio. I have somewhere between 10,000 and 20,000 books in my personal library. I own three kindles, and each is fully loaded with books. I also read about a dozen magazines a month and listen to books on tape when I am in my car or truck.

I read a lot of fiction but also have all sorts of non-fiction books about all sorts of things. My reading has been a wonderful ability in my life. I am self-taught to the professional level in about 10 trades and If I see something that I like instead of buying one I am more likely to buy a book that will teach me how to make it or do it.

I am a machinist, a gun smith, a licensed AC/Heating tech, carpenter, plumber, mechanic for cars trucks and heavy equipment, I literally repair anything that you find in a home, restaurant or washateria. I have done and do all of these things for a living and then also have about a dozen hobbies that at times have been lucrative. Every one of these things I learned from books.

Manual trades for some reason come easy to me. On the other side I have never been able to spell and you wouldn’t BELIEVE what this would look like without spellcheck!!! I can’t do my books at all. Thankfully, that is one of my wife’s skills and abilities and so she does my books and the books for a couple of other small businesses. I am not really good with people. I don’t have much patience with willing stupidity. I couldn’t sell water to a man dying of thirst in a desert.

People are all different. I think that a lot of the misery in the world is caused by people being more or less forced into professions or trades that they are neither all that good at nor enjoy.

as for the US giving up on Europe, havent you still got air bases in Europe? some one said there was a US air base or something in Ireland.
as for the UK being nuked sure that is always possible but America is still Russia and Iran's number one target, the UK will be a side show.

Good point. If Europe wants to go communist then America should save billions of dollars and remove our military. Why support those who capitulate?!
