    Good afternoon all,

    Per ...

Article starts with a picture of the pangolin. It's a mammal.

Both the pangolin and bat were identified as possible creatures that caused the "jump" from animal to human.

Toward end of article is a 28 picture slide show of endangered species ... although caption says the Panda in no longer endangered . I viewed some animals for the first time via this slide show.

As much havoc as the virus epidemic/pandemic is causing, saving the creatures must be appreciated.

That African wild dog is nice !

I liked the African Dog too. As for the endangered critters, they will probably do better with a few less humans around.

Every critters will do well as long any external elements (which include human) were taken out from their environment. There is an ex human township around here that has turn into dense jungle and become sanctuary for all endangered critter after it was hit by megatsunami back in the 19th century (thus getting rid of the human element)

Another great example is Chernobyl area. With the human gone, nature will re-balance itself and all kind of critter (including mutant) has already making comeback into the area.
