    Good afternoon all,

Article is an interview with a national producer of a specialized product for food trades.

When reading "microgreens and edible flowers ...... mostly in midscale dining as well as fine dining ...", I automatically thought back to my Vietnam War experience. I had just returned from a patrol to our Fire Support Base still out in the thorns but had a set-up. Went to the mess tent to fill my canteen cup with some coffee. A leaf came out of the big container. I knew the cook (actually a minor-wounded person not eligible to return to the base camp). He said "Just think of it as bay leaves". It was fine dining - was just called and didn't have time to finish the slush.

Note: "...some of the distributors begin to open their warehouses to consumers and even offer truck deliveries to consumers".

Note: "an up to date crisis management plan".

    ......

I'm no optimist but still believe America's ag industry will revive. Whether it's a potato blight, a whiskey shortage or fresh seafood, there will be a comeback.
