Above announces meeting of a county's Disaster Board. I recall TexDanm mentioning to participate in politics. I said it also. This doesn't mean selling the spare tire and field jacket to run for Congress. Small political groups - and they are political - like this COAD - are just about always looking for new volunteer members. Plus, you'll be bringing knowledge to the group. Please believe me on this.

Another reason for posting this: These type meetings are super ways for newbie preppers to learn both subject matter and to experience what's going on.
