Dc Comics Set To Release Comic Book Starring A Bungling Jesus Christ

This flat out disgusting. I am an agnostic but I not feel it is inappropriate to denigrate a major religion. I get so tired of the left undercutting and berating the Christians and their faith. I wonder if they plan a comic on Mohamed, doubt it. I think people of all faiths should be up in arms and refuse to allow their children to read or purchase this crap comic. In fact they should ban all D.C. comic.

DC Comics drew critical praise for its series of short-run books that re-imagine classic characters and coming up soon, the company is set to release a new book featuring an out-of-touch, bungling Jesus Christ in the lead.
The planned Vertigo imprint series will join previous re-imaginings such as the series about the 60s cartoon hit The Flintstones and a redux of the cartoon character Snagglepuss, both of which are stuffed with left-wing social justice warrior plots. Snagglepuss, for instance, was turned into a gay thespian, and The Flintstones featured socialist workers plots.

In the new comic, written by Mark Russell, Jesus Christ will be portrayed as an out-of-touch former savior who is cast out of his prison in heaven and back down to earth because God the Father felt that Christ messed up his first visit with mankind, Newsbusters reported.

Just in case this is not showing up for some, I figured to give it a bump (not sure that is the right term).

 

I liked Lucifer and never felt it was being disrespectful to the Christians. I could see getting tired of getting all the blame. While Lucifer's moral shenanigans would not be condoned in most Christian faiths, I also remember he took great joy in punishing the bad guys.
