    Good afternoon all,

    Per ...

Used in hospitals and now airports.

Article says "...are cleaned and disinfected every hour,.." Am wondering about US disinfecting robot use. Am not wondering about the frequency like in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Would it not be great for a small residential model - that's affordable - for US home use ! I'm thinking that if vacuum cleaners are common enough in households, why not these robots ?

    Good morning Veruna,

Drones are definitely the future - and they're already here.

They just need the regulations and oversight.

How about a fleet of crop dusters with bleach?

    Good morning F22,

I believe drones are already used for mosquito eradication programs. Don't know what the chemical is. Bleach is a corrosive.

As far as I know, the main ingredient in that is something called DEET. Or diethyltoluamide. It's commonly found in Off, and other mosquito sprays.

What I hate about the mosquito spraying truck that goes around town in the Summer nights is that the whole house fan is on sucking in cool night air and when he's out spraying it has the potential of sucking that crap in.

Watch the lawyer commercials just like the ones for users of Round Up.

"Did you use Off and get cancer? Call our law offices and we'll get you the money you deserve."

    Good morning F22,

Good example re "Round Up". Reminds me of Agent Orange.

I believe the crop duster example is in current use by militaries. The drone is fitted with aerosol apparatus that can deliver eg irritant gases.
