Years ago I made a cake tin banjo, was making a fiddle but got distracted and never finished it. My brother made mountain dulcimer.

I'm thinking about another cake tin banjo. I'm not really musical inclined but I can amuse myself.

    Any would be musicians?

I can't carry a tune in a dump truck, but in an SHTF situation I might try to make a Ukulele or a lute for entertainment purposes. I would have to be very bored to try though. My artistic skills are "lacking" to say the least lol

Penny whistle & a jaw harp. I gave the penny whistle to one of my sons, I was never interested in playing the penny whistle.

that's awesome, I had a jaw harp when I was young. Never heard of aa penny whistle. When I was a kid I made a few slip bark whistles.
