"do Not Crush" List Of Medications

    Just something to keep in mind if storing medications for the apocalypse, could be especially important if needing to dose a child by breaking an adult strength tablet or capsule. While "unpleasant taste" probably isn't of much concern, extended or slow release formulations could lead to overdose if a capsule was opened or a tablet crushed.

    Drugs listed as having enteric coatings may require more investigation to determine the reason for the coating for that particular drug. For aspirin it's usually to reduce the risk of (or not aggravate) ulcers, but for some drugs (like some forms of the antibiotic erythromycin) exposure to stomach acid inactivates the drug making it essentially worthless if crushed.
