    because Strasbourg is the OFFICIAL seat of the EU, it is legally bound to meet there 12 times a year lasting 4 days each time.
    votes in the EU must take place in Strasbourg, other sessions and committees take place in Brussels.
    so every month there is a travelling circus when they move everything from Brussels to Strasbourg.
