    same thing happened in UK last winter, a town was cut in half.
    expect it to happen more often post SHTF and they wont be repaired.

    Good morning Lonewolf,

    Concur.

    Our "experiment" here in the upstart colonies was Puerto Rico and currently the northern California areas with the wildfires.

    A SHTF will see much infrastructure permanently lost. Who the Hades needs a repaired airport when the facility was already outdated and too small in a poor location ? Same for roads - and their maintenance. Same for resident housing in areas with little public safety /fire and rescue support.

    some people in the UK seem to think roads, bridges and other infrastructure will remain exactly how it is now after SHTF, I think they are in for one big shock.
