Great news for Boeing. I hope the deal goes through. I didn't realize the Israelis needed that much refueling capability. A carrier pigeon could fly across Israel in an afternoon. How far do they have to go?

Am guessing the refueling needed to increase the IAF range from 35 great circle statute miles to 60 great circle miles - unless the symbolism and indicator is lost to foreign observers.

I think the deal will go through. Boeing is the state of Washington with a Chicago presence. The engines are by Pratt and Whitney, Connecticut.

Patriotism and the squabbling politics end at the water's edge, ... with exceptions.
