"Satellites give clues about the coming global harvest"

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-62149522

"As harvest time looms for the world's main wheat producers, countries that import wheat are hoping for a bumper global crop so that record high prices might fall. But analysis on the health of crops around the world, shared with the BBC, suggests that's unlikely, and that Russia could be the only big winner.

"Working with two companies that analyse data on crop health, the BBC has found that some of the world's main wheat producers could see weaker harvests than anticipated this year because of bad weather.

"In the EU that could mean 4.7 million tonnes less wheat than last year, which is bad news for countries hoping to find alternatives to Ukrainian wheat.

"More than a third of the planet relies on wheat as a staple food. It provides more calories in the world's diet than any other single crop. And as the global population is growing, every year we have to produce more.

"At the beginning of 2021 wheat prices were at a record high, thanks to a spike in demand after the coronavirus pandemic and bad harvests in some major exporting countries. Then Russia invaded Ukraine - the world's fifth biggest wheat exporter - and prices soared even higher, sparking concerns of a global hunger crisis.

"According to analysis shared with the BBC by Kayrros and EarthDaily Analytics, three of the world's five major wheat exporters (the US, France and Ukraine) could see lower than expected yields this year.

"The US is the world's third-biggest wheat exporter but severe drought in spring in two main wheat-producing states, Kansas and Oklahoma, could mean yields are 7-8% lower this year than the five-year average.

"India also produces vast volumes of wheat, most of which is consumed within the country. This year India increased the amount of wheat planted, leading many to hope it could become a significant exporter and ease the strain on global supplies. But extreme heatwaves hit India just as the crop was at a crucial stage for developing grain.

"In response, the Indian government put an export ban on wheat in early May. EarthDaily's analysis suggests that India's production this year has been 10 million tonnes lower than expected.

"Not everywhere has seen disastrous weather though. Canada experienced very severe drought last year which led to historically low yields for wheat. This year the crop is looking much healthier, and EarthDaily estimates that the harvest will be above the five-year average.

"In Russia, the world's largest wheat exporter, the crop is looking particularly promising. Thanks to very favourable weather its yields could be 6% higher than average this year, leading to fears that Russia could use grain for political leverage.

"But Russia's crop may not be enough to offset deficits elsewhere in the world, says Elena Neroba, a Ukrainian grains analyst with the trading firm, Maxigrain. And Russia could find it difficult to sell. Food is not subject to sanctions, but the restrictions make doing business with Russia complicated.

"'Really big companies will avoid trading with Russia because it's a huge risk. If you are a state reserve or a multinational company, it's not just the risk of a volatile price, it's a risk to your reputation,' Ms Neroba says.

"It's also unclear how much of Ukraine's wheat will make it out of the country, as Russia has been attacking grain stores, dropping incendiary bombs on fields of dry crops, and blockading the main export route via ports in the Black Sea.

"The FAO's chief economist, Maximo Torero, is especially worried about next year, if the war continues and farmers can't access fertiliser, much of which comes from Russia.

"'If we continue to have increasing prices of fertilisers, there is potential risk that yields will reduce,' he says. 'And that's when we could be talking about a huge food crisis.'"

"Sub-Saharan Africa Facing Severe Food Shortage"
By Lisa Schlein July 12, 2022

    https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/news/2022/07/mil-220712-voa07.htm

"The International Committee of the Red Cross warns hundreds of millions of people in sub-Saharan Africa are going hungry due to conflict, climate shocks, and rising food prices triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"The ICRC warns Africa's food crisis is set to worsen. It says conflict and armed violence, failing harvests due to years of drought, and increases in food and other commodity prices are driving more people into extreme poverty and hunger.

"A recent U.N. assessment estimates 346 million people on the continent face severe food insecurity, meaning one-quarter of the population does not have enough to eat.

"The ICRC regional director for Africa, Patrick Youssef, says the situation is urgent. He warns many lives will be lost without a concerted effort by different actors to meet the challenges ahead. He says aid agencies, international financial institutions, and governments must collaborate to prevent the humanitarian crisis from becoming irreversible.

"'As we look at 2023, we know that this will repeat itself. These climate shocks will repeat themselves; food insecurity will remain as acute as it is,' said Youssef. 'It will not end with the calendar year. So, we all will better collectively be prepared for a long haul, for a situation, for a crisis that will certainly increase in size and volume.'

"The ICRC reports the war in Ukraine has caused a sharp increase in fuel and fertilizer prices. That, it says, has added significant pressure on farmers, many of whom are weathering the combined impact of conflict and climate shocks."

As a prepper forum we really needed this thread as the threat is real . The world faces several looming catastrophes . Famine however is not looming , it is here . Perhaps our members are still finding adequate food but vast numbers of people in some countries are not and this crisis like a cancer is only getting worse and spreading across the globe .

https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/t...pc=U531&cvid=f660bfe8b0d14b7c9eafbcb2ecc152ec -- Closer to home for some of our U.S. members " drought " . While the read above is mainly focusing on food production in one area , the drought covers a much larger area than being discussed . Rancher math - Drought = no hay , = selling off livestock , = a short burst of meat into the market followed by not any meat available for the consumer .

https://www.sharogle.com/countries-are-banning-food-exports-amid-rising-prices-and-inflation/ --- Here is a list of countries banning food exports as of May 18 . This list has probably grown since then . Countries are circling the wagons for the food crisis that has befallen the planet . Countries that depend on the majority of their food being brought in from another country will likely be hit the hardest as we slide into teotwawki . The worst is ahead . Preppers will be fine , though may have to alter their diet . Sheeple face the hungry times . --- Compounding the problem as fuel and food prices increase , so will the price of rent for those that didn't plan for enough ahead to buy their own property and shelter . Thus the financial squeeze most are already experiencing , will surely intensify . --- Despite what I have seen posted , know some in reality can not grow a garden because there isn't any dirt outside their door or their actual home owner or community police will not allow them to tear up the ground and plant a garden . This situation is all because they didn't plan ahead as any prudent prepper would .

Even with these realities right in the face of Westerners, many still hold the view that what is happening is happening someplace else and that any ramifications appertaining will likely not fall upon their doorstep -- and if it does come to visit, they believe that government will be able to take care of the problem.

USA 1930s, economic depression coupled with "dust bowl" drought made it hell for farmers.

    https://historyincharts.com/the-causes-of-the-dust-bowl-in-the-great-depression/

Tough lot, so they came back from it.

One wonders about the coming years. Oligarchs and international collectivists are trying to buy-up farmlands so as to hamstring the common folk. It might just take some transfers of lead to push the demons back down into Hades from whence they came. The lives of aggressors have no meaning.

A video on the drought in Italy . Crops that were planted in many cases have dried up and are passed the point of yielding anything this year . The water is so low rivers are running backwards coming from the ocean and depositing salt upon the farm land that for some will destroy the soil for agriculture for the foreseeable future . No food coming from this area for the planet .

At some point those that want to survive are going to have to allow those that are either too stupid or unable or unwilling to control their population to starve to death. Instead of exporting food to them we need to offer them birth control pills.

Famines HAPPEN. They always have but in the very recent past, in the more advanced nations we have been able to avoid the worst effects of them. Look at ny good map of the US and you will see that it is covered all over with man made lakes. We generally think of them as recreational things but they are even more a survival water source for years when the rain is less than we need. The nations that are starving don't want to spend the money or put in the effort to do things like that.

The day is comming when they hold out their hands for another handout but we just won't be able to feed them all. I assure you that when that day comes they are going to make us the monsters. We won't let out children starve and will let theirs die. We should have let things like that take their course before now. Food exports should be tied to population control. If your population is growing and you can't feed them then the problem is your lack of control more than the variable of the weather.

In the end when nature is not allowed to regulate populations humanity goes to plan B. World war is basically a population control measure in the rawest sense.

in past history, populations were controlled by how good or how bad the annual harvest was, good harvest and the population increased, poor harvest and the population decreased, modern living has managed to do away with this need by purchasing the shortfall from abroad but there may come a time when this isnt possible.
Britain is about 61% self sufficient in food (National Farmers Union President's figures not mine) the remaining 39% being imported, if Britain had to be self sufficient in food we would run out of food about the second week in August-we arent far off that date now.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/t...pc=U531&cvid=427135ef23c84d4a95233aceb8e9aeee -- More news on the ongoing drought in the U.S. and the crop failures now occurring with no change in the weather forecast . Preppers should be in fine shape with their preps in place , but will have to be vigilant of the desperate unprepared . Little to no exports may be leaving U. S. to feed countries that have become reliant on others for their survival . -- One exception however is the huge agriculture fields our Democrat Politicians have sold to the Chinese . If the Chinese crops don't dry up and die they will be harvested and sent to China . --- To compound the crisis warehouses of food are reportedly running out of food stored from last years harvest . Interesting times ahead for the prepared . Horrific future looms for the unprepared .

    Hideously dark truth.

As for the screaming petulant kids on the Left, they are going to have to be disabled by any means necessary. Thankfully, most are not armed sufficiently -- maybe a handgun and/or shotgun. They usually don't own scoped deer rifles nor rifles that could be used as battle rifles in a pinch. Almost all of the >5 million assault rifles out there are owned by military and ex-military. Less than 10% are turned-in when banned in their state (ex, California). There are millions of very angry men made felons by god-government dictates. Combat military and civilian police are well over 70% conservative (or downright right-wingers to the max -- particularly true in Heartland America). Regular military folk swing left or right, but then they went into the military to learn a trade and get job experience. The personnel trained to destroy things and kill people swing conservative. As these folk get past the age of 35-40 years old, they get very conservative here in America (I don't know about other countries because I don't talk to those people about politics -- I just assume they have different views and many have never known true Liberty).

Maybe migrant masses moving-in illegally will be shunted to the cities ... where they ALL will starve. If things go full-SHTF, Heartlanders will be taking care of Heartlanders. City slickers and people from other countries will get ZERO respect from the populations that grow food and produce fuels. Lately I read that migrants from Mexico are getting fed-up with this Leftist puppet administration. These people want to start businesses and drive their vehicles (I see them driving better vehicles than I can afford; mainly BIG 4x4 pickup trucks and SUVs) -- it's why they came into America in the first place. Many of these people went by the rules, now are becoming legal citizens, and are voting. Do they want to participate in capitalism? Oh, yes. Are they bleeding hearts? Nope.

It is quiet telling that here we are in a food crisis and I can only count 4 of our members that have spoken up about having a garden this year . Hopefully it is more than that and simply they chose to not speak up . Perhaps despite repeated warnings being issued to our members , perhaps they simply really did not believe it . Perhaps in reality they weren't capable of actually growing a garden for whatever reason . Regardless we can only hope they will be able to survive the lean times ahead and perhaps at a later date can actually take a " active " prepper survival role .--- To not do so puts them on the opposite side of the survival war as they and their family face hunger will likely become thieves and pillagers .

How was it that our ancestors survived?

They grew and/or foraged their own veggies and fruit. They grew and or hunted their own meat. They defended their own tribes/communities. (Eventually, all mercenary armies turn on their employers. Whoever protects you, owns you.)

Add to this that the Earth's human population has begun growing exponentially.

The term "modern times" means absolutely nothing. Intelligence does NOT impart morality. Humans today are the humans that existed 200 years ago, 2,000 years ago, 20,000 years ago. Actually, we are down-breeding because in this day and age, what with advanced medicine, the stupid and weak breed as much, if not more, than the genetically intelligent and strong.

    Humans have become Koalas.

Koalas have become utterly dependent on eucalyptus. If eucalyptus trees become extinct, so do the koalas. One quarter of the Earth's eucalyptus trees are becoming extinct.

Humans have become utterly dependent on high-tech, to include farming. If high-tech goes away, so do most humans. Whether by nuclear EMP forces or our sun sending a coronal mass ejection Earth's way, high tech is going to be 90% zapped dead.

What idiot thinks the following is going to come out all rosy?! The year 2039, thirteen billion people living on this little blue ball?!!! B.S.!!! Not gonna happen boys and girls! The Four Horsemen are at the gate and the gate is made of toothpicks.

if the human race had to go back to being Hunter/Gatherers most of those alive today in Britain would be dead in a short time.
at least that would fix the overpopulation problem and the stupidity, dont work/wont work factor.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/t...pc=U531&cvid=fda2c8c435ec43269ad91efef757abe8 Thousands of head of cattle have died from the drought in this one area . This is likely the scenario over a much wider portion of the U.S. as well as other countries . The cattle are being piled up to rot . Those that cling to the idea their local grocery store still has food to sell and everything will continue that way may be in for a shock at their predicament by this winter . There will be a stark contrast between the prepared and the unprepared . Stockpiled food is wise but what we are now facing has no end as for as those that try to predict can see . This goes much farther than simply a drought and lost agriculture and livestock for the food chain . Even when the rains do eventually come and the temperatures subside the fact is because of World Leaders pretending the planet is running out of oil to promote their global warming agenda has created a food shortage as the food wasn't planted on the scale it normally is to begin with . --- We are already seeing panicked sheeple taking to the streets in some areas . Their stupidity is something our ancestors would find unbelievable . These mass gatherings of sheeple will be escalating with the probable results of flooding into supermarkets and ransacking the stores , thus likely the stores will just close down forever .

First I do believe the climate is changing , some areas are getting deluded with rain year after year in areas that didn't used to be like that . This I can attest to as I own a tree farm that used to be in an area of average rainfall . Now it has become tropical with so much rain that I have a problem trying to get the timber out as it stays boggy from the rain . It has been like that for at least a decade now . Other areas of the planet has become extremely dry year after year . But I don't buy into the narrative man is changing the areas that are wet or dry , hotter or colder . I believe it is only the natural cycle of things . Leaders have latched onto the narrative that people are the cause , as this gives them power to control the people and for some an opportunity to get rich . When some of the ice melted from one of the poles far enough , guess what , they found ancient tree stumps where obviously there used to be a forest growing . As I said a natural phenonium of a changing planet is what we are seeing . -- Now as for as the oil . According to the people in the oil industry the United States has more oil than Saudia Arabia setting in the ground . However to promote the green new deal " agenda 30 " they are not developing it or refining to full capacity . Even Canada is sitting on a huge oil pool under the ground . Canada was trying to find a buyer for their oil 2 years ago , but has since buckled to " agenda 30 " . Now I will not even try to go through ever country's oil availability they have under their feet , but can say with assurance the Unites States is not even close to running out of oil . If my memory serves me correctly even at the petroleum usage we were at 2 years ago the estimate was we had about 100 years of oil sustainability for our future .

"Exclusive — Eva Vlaardingerbroek on Dutch Farmers’ Protests: Best ‘Way to Control People’ Is ‘Controlling Their Food Supply’"

    https://www.breitbart.com/radio/202...ay-control-people-is-controlling-food-supply/

"Vlaardingerbroek explained the Dutch government’s pretexts for restricting Dutch farmers’ animal husbandry.

“'Our government is following a climate agenda — the 2030 Agenda, more broadly speaking — and they’re saying that the Netherlands has nitrogen and ammonia emissions that are too high, threatening the climate [and] local nature, and that they need to be cut down.'

"She continued, 'For some reason, they’re not coming after the airlines. They’re not coming after any other industry that actually is a contributor in these emissions, apart from the Dutch farmers.'

"The Dutch government says 30 percent of the country’s livestock will need to be eliminated to curb 'nitrogen pollution' in accordance with its ostensibly environmental goals.

"She remarked, 'We have mass migration [and] have open borders. We have so many immigrants coming to our country, and the government has no place to house them.'

“'There are actual state documents that have surfaced in which it is black on white written that … they’re going to actually use the expropriated land for building refugee crisis center,' she added.

"Vlaardingerbroek observed the commonalities between Western governments’ 'climate change' edicts and decrees ostensibly issued to reduce COVID-19 transmission: expanding state power with commensurate violations of individual rights.

“'It’s always always you — ordinary civilian, ordinary citizen — that has to give up his or her rights,' she stated. 'So that’s the trend here. That’s what people need to start seeing. That’s the real agenda that our governments have, and of course, the food supply — the farmers — what better way to control people than by controlling their food supply?'

"She concluded, 'This way, the state is able to have full control over your lives if they dictate what you can’t eat, and what you can eat, and when you can eat.'”

I really like this guy. He's like most men where I come from -- humble, humble before God, self-sufficient. I too am a squash / zucchini-lover/gardener. His mentioning his kids being murdered hits too close to home. We had to bury our only daughter. People like this know hell and thus know that horrid misfortune could be just around the next corner. Thus they get ready for life's inevitable perfect storms. In my youth, my wife was pregnant, I was finishing my master's thesis, and my mother was dying of cancer -- all this happening at the same time. And oh by the way, folks like us have ZERO tolerance for spoiled city folk. Those in the cities are doomed.

City folk CAN change if they want to, I know I lived in a city man and boy for 40 years and 2 marriages, thankfully I had the sense to marry a country girl born and bred and we now live on the very edge of a small market town- more the size of an average British village. ( mind you I was always a country boy at heart, my mother was a farmers daughter, and I got into the countryside as often as I could).
not many city folk can do that, even if they move out into the countryside they usually last only 6 months or a year then they miss the bright lights and the coffee shops and they return to the city, in the UK anyway.

You don't have to put on your tinfoil conspiracy hat to raise an eyebrow to the following. Building huge nature preserves, I'm all for it ... if there's not a food shortage heading-in like a perfect storm. These oligarchs have lost their minds or are mindfully sabotaging the Western world's agriculture production. Doesn't matter their motivations, they need to be shut down.

"Billionaire-funded eco group quietly taking farmland out of production in rural America"

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bi...-taking-farmland-out-production-rural-america

"The American Prairie (AP), a conservation project in Montana, has quietly scooped up more than 450,000 acres of land with the help of its billionaire donors and the federal government.

"The little-known project aims to create the largest "fully functioning ecosystem" in the continental U.S. by stitching together about 3.2 million acres of private and public lands, according to the American Prairie Foundation, which founded the reserve more than 20 years ago. The group has recorded 34 transactions spanning roughly 453,188 acres of land throughout central Montana — much of which were once used for farming and grazing — since 2004 and continues to aggressively expand."

--- A video on the bug and worm eating agenda pushed by the rich . I expect the vast majority will just submit and eat what they are given . The self sufficient will not have to humiliate their family and themselves and succumb to this level as the rich enjoy their steak and laugh about the peasant bug and worm eaters . Just storing food will only postpone the bug burgers if the individual is not producing their own food .

"Hungry? The Benefits Of Famine According To Central Planners"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/hungry-benefits-famine-according-central-planners

    "HUNGRY?

"Good, according to the central planners.

"The folks over at the UN stopped destroying the world for a brief few minutes to publish a piece (snapshot below) justifying their behavior and explaining the 'benefits' of the famine they’ve engineered.

"The article remained on the UN website for a day or so before being deleted after it went viral on social media, with people horrified at the truly unbelievable evil.

"The good thing about this is that as they continue with their predictive programming and NLP (seriously, look into both and it promises to blow your mind), more and more people wake from their trance.

"Once woken, they realize the incredible danger they are all in. And that is a good thing because you can’t fight an enemy until you understand one exists.

"And on the ground in the everyday world, the repercussions are now spilling over into the lives of Joe Sixpack.

"Joe doesn’t really care to hear about the United Nations 'sustainability agenda' or about their “absolute zero” report. Which details (very clearly) and precisely what is taking place right now."

    CPI = consumer price index

    ------------

Another article responding to deleted UN post:

    https://truthunmuted.org/now-delete...ortages-are-necessary-to-create-slave-labour/

"Now Deleted U.N. Report Confirms Food Shortages are Necessary to Create Slave Labour"

"‘No One Works Harder Than Hungry People’

"The crux of Kent’s article — satire or not — is that the elite class has a distinct motivation to not end world hunger, because if everyone is well-nourished, there may be no one willing to provide cheap labour and slave away at some of the most physically demanding and unpleasant jobs on the planet.

“'Hunger has great positive value to many people. Indeed, it is fundamental to the working of the world’s economy. Hungry people are the most productive people, especially where there is a need for manual labor,' Kent wrote, adding:

"'… For those who depend on the availability of cheap labor, hunger is the foundation of their wealth … Much of the hunger literature talks about how it is important to assure that people are well fed so that they can be more productive. That is nonsense. No one works harder than hungry people. Yes, people who are well nourished have greater capacity for productive physical activity, but well-nourished people are far less willing to do that work.'

    "UN Predicts Total Societal Collapse

"In addition to advertising how to create a cheaper workforce by leveraging world hunger, the U.N. released its 2022 Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction (GAR2022), which paints a dismal picture of the future:

“'Risk creation is outstripping risk reduction. Disasters, economic loss and the underlying vulnerabilities that drive risk, such as poverty and inequality, are increasing just as ecosystems and biospheres are at risk of collapse. Global systems are becoming more connected and therefore more vulnerable in an uncertain risk landscape.'

"The World Is Heading for a Reset

"We’re at a pivotal point in history, with many sensing that society is already on edge, and rising inflation, food costs and product shortages threaten to push it over the line. While we’re told that looming food shortages are primarily the result of climate change and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Rockefeller Foundation had already predicted this scenario in July 2020 and was calling for a revamp of the food system as a whole to address it.20

"Their report, 'Reset the Table,' was published just one month after the World Economic Forum (WEF) officially announced its plans for a 'Great Reset,' and many of the contributors to the Foundation’s paper are WEF members. They intend for the current food system to fall apart, so they can then 'solve' the problem by introducing a new system based on patented lab-grown synthetic and genetically engineered foods and massive insect farms."

This link presents a more in depth look at our situation . --- Something else mentioned on the video that was new news to me . The country of Panama is collapsing following in the foot steps of Sri Lanka . Reportedly 8 hour waiting time at fuel stations to get a limited amount of fuel . Also in Panama reportedly the food stores in many cases have no food .

    Productive farmers leaving South Africa

"Zimbabwe takes back land seized from white settlers and given to Blacks"

    https://nationalpost.com/news/world...-who-were-given-farms-owned-by-white-settlers

"Zimbabwe has begun repossessing land from Blacks who were given land that whites had farmed over centuries of colonialism.

"The socialist former president Robert Mugabe launched controversial land reforms in 2000 in an effort to more equitably distribute land. But as his government forcibly removed the white farmers — without compensation — and gave the farms to Blacks, tensions arose and many owners and their farm workers were killed.

"The concept may not have been without its merits but in a corrupt government, many of Mugabe’s close allies ended up with more than one farm and 250,000 farmers remain on the wait list. By 2013, every white-owned farm in Zimbabwe had been either expropriated or confirmed for future redistribution.

"A Black Marxist, Mugabe slowly established one-party rule after his election to the presidency in 1987 and turned increasingly repressive. He ruled for some three decades, the last of which saw strife and unrest over the 100,000 per cent inflation, institutional violence and widespread poverty. Guerilla fighters became a radical power, confronting white farmers and their families and workers.

"Because many of the 50,000 households who originally received confiscated land had little training or support, large areas were left fallow and became derelict — and Zimbabwe, a country once heralded as a breadbasket in Southern Africa with abundant sugarcane, coffee, cotton, tobacco and maize, began to suffer from chronic food shortages. Roughly 45 per cent of the population is malnourished. The country has long depended on food donations."

The communists at CNN are happy:

"American farmers are killing their own crops and selling cows because of extreme drought"

    https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/17/business/west-drought-farmers-survey-climate/index.html

    Quotes in dark yellow:

New York (CNN Business)Nearly three quarters of US farmers say this year's drought is hurting their harvest -- with significant crop and income loss, according to a new survey by the American Farm Bureau Federation, an insurance company and lobbying group that represents agricultural interests.

This year's drought conditions are taking a harder toll than last year's, as 37% of farmers said they are plowing through and killing existing crops that won't reach maturity because of dry conditions. That's a jump from 24% last year, according to the survey.

The AFBF estimates nearly 60% of West, South and Central Plains are experiencing severe drought or higher this year.

Farmers in Texas are being forced to sell off their cattle herds earlier than normal due to extreme drought -- as water sources dry out and grass burns up. Farmers in the Lone Star state reported the largest reduction in herd size, down 50%, followed by New Mexico and Oregon at 43% and 41% respectively.

High inflation makes it harder for ranchers to salvage their land. The cost of diesel is falling but is still high, making it significantly more expensive to truck in additional water than in years past. The price of fertilizer for grass and crops and feed for animals also remains expensive.

Fruits, nuts, and vegetables overwhelmingly come from states that with high levels of drought. But farmers have been forced to forgo planting or destroy orchards. This will "will likely result in American consumers paying more for these goods and either partially relying on foreign supplies or shrinking the diversity of items they buy at the store," the report states.

The above thread by Old Geezer is confirmation on the now ongoing and worsening famine . I was reading an article yesterday , whereas large swaths of Europe are also facing crop failures from droughts . Global famine is here , it simply is worse in some countries than others . Nature from weather conditions have caused part of the problem but an even larger problem has been created by the world globalist curtailing oil production causing fertilizer shortages and increased fuel prices for running farm equipment ant transporting the farm produce to market . --- Seeing the writing on the wall for an upcoming famine , got my chainsaw out last winter and cleared off an bigger area for a garden and planted more stuff this year and am now enjoying plentiful food . This is an example of trying to predict the future and preparing accordingly . Many didn't have the foresight to plant a garden at all , or the foresight to position themselves in a location where it was even feasible to grow their own food .

"Brace For Even Higher Beef Prices As Texas Cattle Industry Faces Historic Drought Crisis"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/commoditi...cattle-industry-faces-historic-drought-crisis

"Ranchers across Texas continue to panic sell cattle herds as the worst megadrought in 1,200 years makes it too expensive to sustain operations.

"'We'll keep selling cows till it rains,' Texas High Plains rancher Jim Ferguson told Amarillo station KAMR, which collaborated with The Hill on the expanding cattle crisis in the state.

"America's cattle heartland has seen pastures turn to dust, and costs for feed, fertilizer, and diesel skyrocket, threatening an entire industry that is essential to the nation's beef supply.

"'The lack of water in general, it's hurting us all the way around. Any way you can think of,' cattle buyer Josh Sturgeon said.

"Sturgeon said ranchers are liquidating herds at auction because of the lack of water and soaring costs.

"But 'you're almost afraid to buy. Cattle drink a lot of water, especially this time of year. With this drought, they're drinking a lot of water. Cattle are dying because of this. Even the best of cattle are struggling,' he noted.

"Kunisch pointed out that farmers are selling off their breeding stock, which they rely on to produce the next generation of cows.

"'That's a big signal to me that, you know, that future supplies at some point are going to run tight,' Kunsich warned.

Slavery is beyond horrific and is still occurring today.
African lands once farmed by Europeans are now woefully under-producing due to white farmers being driven-off or murdered. High-tech farming is the ONLY means by which current African populations can be fed. Returning to traditional farming methods now bespeaks mass-death.

    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...oss-likely-due-to-drought-german-farmers-say/

"Crop losses of up to 50 per cent are now expected in parts of Germany due to drought, farmers in affected regions have claimed.

"Up to half of the crops in parts of the German state of Baden-Württemberg are likely to be lost due to drought, farmers in the region have claimed, with problems to do with the prices of fuel, fertiliser, and pesticides connected to the green agenda and war in Ukraine also reportedly causing problems for those in the region.
"With the losses expected to materialise in the autumn, the farming chaos may end up being another crisis facing Germany’s floundering political class as fuel shortages combined with a freefalling economy hit a public already suffering from officials’ poor handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"According to a report by Bild, a serious lack of rainfall has led farmers to fear that the likes of maize, sugar beet, potato, and soybean crops could see losses of up to 50 per cent should rain not return soon.

“'If there is no heavy rainfall in the near future, we expect considerable harvest losses of up to 50 per cent for almost all crops,' state farmer president Joachim Rukwied is reported as saying on Thursday, emphasising that crops harvested in the autumn were likely to be the worse affected."

--- Here is another video on the famine . By this time though I think everyone on here has insight as to what is coming . Unfortunately those that only put back food for their preps will be running out and this famine will be even worse at the point they run out of food . Many will find their prepper plan inadequate . The HUGE problem is basically a two sided conundrum. On one side we have an ever growing population in the places least able to feed their people. On the other side we are feeding them an more or less encouraging them to breed more and faster. EVENTUALLY we will be unable to do this without allowing our people to start starving at which point they will attack us. Color me heartless but I think that assistance should be tied hand in hand with those needing help changing their habbits that are continuallingly causeing their problems.

In the past thier overbreeding was controled. They would periotically have famins and hundreds of thousands if not millions of them would starve to death. We have now helped a lot of places reach the point where their recorces and abilities can't feed their people even in perfict circumstances. This is only going to get worse and worse.

Historically the end result of runaway population groth is war. Whenever people's population isn't controled by natural circumstances people take in in their hands and handle it. We need to stop offering food to ostarving masses without first insisting that they accept and USE some sort of birth control. If they refuse to reduce their population the rest of the world needs to let them starve.

Humanity seems to at some level believe that itt is above the level of natural population control. At BEST we can put it off. What the end result will be is GLOBAL starvation and war.

The problem is mainly because modern urban populations including politicians no longer respect Farmers and Growers, too much emphasis is put on climate change (The UK only emits about 1% of global emissions) and environmental controls make growing meat and arable in some cases financially unviable, the globalists dont care because they think we can buy ALL our food from overseas which isnt sustainable if there are global shortages.

With today's technology -- read "fragile" & "long way to go" -- eight billion people (and increasing every minute) living on Earth is in no way sustainable.

Way too much to go wrong.

    Now things are going wrong.

    And in a BIG way.

Glad I pulled my lifetime on Earth before all of this. I'll be punching out while this hell will be going down.

Now I'm just here to watch. Seems the Almighty has given me front row seats.

Just my opinion , even though it has already shtf in regard to collapsing countries and financial disaster for many , This situation will be much more severe within the next 26 months . So there is a high probability all of us will get to test our survival plans . The reason I can base this on a 26 month projection . This fall into the sh-ter began the day the Democrats in the U.S. pulled their November 2020 political coup and got their stumbling block " Donald Trump " out of their way . They know they have secured their reign at least until November 2024 . They will be doing all they can in the mean time to implement their admitted Cloward / Pivin plan . If anyone doesn't know what the Cloward / Piven plan is , look it up . It will explain what is now happening . -- I goggled the Cloward / Piven plan and it gave only a watered down and vague explanation . You tube would likely give a more explicit explanation .

I believe that the latter-day Cloward / Piven plan is being promoted within the Bernie Sanders commie camp. They know exactly what they are doing. Spending money to bring back the economy? Hell no. They are looking for the U.S. (evil America) dollar to turn into wet dog sh##. They want a re-boot. Since they hang around Americans that are limp-wrist pu$$ies, they imagine the rest of the country to be weak. Those who are armed and belligerent, they imagine can be suppressed by police and military. Oops, wrong. Bernie's world is about to be burned-down -- ironically mostly by Democratic voters / looters.

"Wave Of European Ammonia Plant Closures To Exacerbate Food Crisis"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/commodities/wave-european-ammonia-plant-closures-exacerbate-food-crisis

"A wave of European ammonia-plant shutdowns due to soaring natural gas prices has resulted in a devastating fertilizer crunch, worsening by the week, with as much as 70% of production offline.

"'Ammonia prices, though volatile, rose 15% in 3Q and could climb higher as Europe's record gas prices curtail output and send ammonia producers to the global market in search of replacement supplies to run upgrade facilities -- with winter still around the corner,' Bloomberg Intelligence's Alexis Maxwell wrote in a note.

"Bloomberg Intelligence's Maxwell said 'cascading supply-side shocks' could keep fertilizer prices elevated well into 1H23 and may pressure farmers in the upcoming growing season, adding to even more food inflation as less fertilizer equals smaller harvests.

"Remember, the world's largest fertilizer company warned supply disruptions could extend into 2023.

"The picture is becoming more apparent that Europe's energy crisis and much of its fertilizer capacity offline will have severe consequences for the food industry in the growing season ahead -- leaving some to believe a global food crisis is only just materializing. "

This is a very good video that should interest any prepper . --- This video was obtained through " bitchute " . The last couple of videos that I drew from bitchute " Lone Wolf " had problems on the receiving end . Hopefully this time it will function properly . I like bitchute for information gathering because it is not censored like other sites . -- This video should shake the unprepared .
