I'm a big Star Wars fan and I would say one of my favorite movies is The Force Awakens. What are your favorite movies. From what every genre, year, or anything.

My all time favorite will have to be Goodwill Hunting. When I was growing up I always likened myself to Matt Damon’s character now that I am older I admit that me being that smart was only wishful thinking. Either way, still may favorite easily.

Last Of The Mohicans, Love Actually, Jeremiah Johnson, The Mountain Men, Moll Flanders, Forest Gump, The Hunger Games, a heap more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

This is a very tough question since the history of the cinema is full of great films.

Here's my selection (no particular order):

    Citizen Kane (Orson Welles)
    The Kid (Charles Chaplin)
Ladri di biciclette (Vittorio de Sica)
The trilogy of Bleu, Blanc, and Rouge by Krzysztof Kieslowski
The eternal sunshine of a spotless mind (Michel Gondry)
    Rhapsody in August (Akira Kurosawa)
    City of God (Fernando Meirelles)
El baño del Papa (César Charlone-Enrique Fernández)

And I almost forgot my favorite animated film, Wall-E (I mean it!)

I can't think of any films from your list that I don't think are superb, although I'd pick either Ran or Rashomon over Rhapsody in August as my top Kurosawa film. Speaking of which, if you like Japanese cinematography, let me recommend Kwaidan (1964) directed by Masako Kobayashi.
