    This is interesting, and IMHO the numbers are trending in the right direction. All good things. Some things are predictable. Older people are in a better financial position to put money away for emergencies than young people who are living paycheck to paycheck. I wonder how the questions were asked? I can attest that there were times in the past when no thought was given to prepping. We were so consumed with household and family duties we never thought of prepping much less budgeted for it.

    People who live in hurricane and wildfire areas seem to trend more to the prepared side. These disasters are still very fresh in their minds, and even the non-believers realize it could happen to them.
