It is no secret the Bidens were given big bucks by the Chinese government before Joe announced his run for president of the U.S. . If he succeeds by fraudulent means to gain the presidency then he can simply hand over the U.S. to China . If he loses ; China may send in troops to collect what they paid for . A Civil war in the U.S. with the righteous against Satin is just another possibility to a U.S. verses China war on U.S. soil . Are your prepared to take on the Chinese army ? Personally I am not well prepared to take on a Chinese ground assault but am trying to remedy that shortfall . This is just a potential scenario but I try to prepare for every conceivable possibility . My quick research shows China with 2,545000 troops . The U.S. has 2,1000 troops . If they used the Viet Nam ploy to get so close to the enemy as the superior equipped military could not use its superior might without destroying the friendly forces , would the U.S. destroy its own citizens to defeat the Chinese ?

Another twist to this . The U.S. is known for coming to the aid of an attacked country . Do you really think the U.S. allies would really come to help the U.S. ? I really doubt it . A threat from China would probably make the U.S. allies sit silent . I partly base this on what I see on here from non-U.S. citizens . They believe the communist propaganda presented as news . Some show their resentment and dislike for the U.S. . First if China can take down the U.S. they will be coming for the rest of the planet .

I started this thread yesterday . Today Donald Trump at a news conference basically said them same thing I did yesterday . If Joe Biden gets control of the White House " China will own the U.S. " . I am supposing some on this forum are having a hard time accepting this , as of this time not a single comment has been made on this horrific possibility . I know two people who are looking at this seriously Donald Trump and Poltiregist .

I concur, if Biden is elected, we will be sold down the river to China. China needs to be designated a hostile nation and all imports should be slapped with massive tariffs.

In the 1970's China pulled a military incursion into Vietnam. Vietnam sent them packing.

China has huge armies. But China is unable to transport those armies. Were they to try, the U.S. Navy would send them to Davy Jones' Locker. China is building-up its Navy to take the South China Sea. We'll see if they can take that sea. China may be able to pull some series sh## in the S.China Sea, but they can't do squat to mainland America. Russia could attempt to take Alaska, but I don't believe they could pull that one off.

Some socialist POTUS attempts to hand the USA over to a China or a Russia, the military would occupy the White House. No matter the infiltration of the deep state into the upper brass of the Pentagon, it is the commanders of our fighting armies that call the shots ... rather literally. The real military fighting commanders, the colonels, take zero sh##. They are killers and you'd best not make them unhappy. They'll shoot a pu##y, arrogant, dweeb who thinks he has brass right in the center of his forehead. I've known murderers, these men will just kill with a straight face. It's what they are. They make a whole place go wet.

    OG,
China wouldn't be sending it's troops here by it's navy. It's air forces are far more of a concern for us than there navy.

So, China may have 2.5+ million troops. Texas ALONE has more than TWICE that many well-armed and ready to fight. Attacking the US, even for a country as big as China would be a totally disastrous effort. Even the Japanese Admiral that led the attack on Pearl Harbor knew that it was an insane thing to do. I believe he said something to the effect that with that attack they had awoken a sleeping dragon.

The American people are well-armed. People like me will sit up on a hill and kill them one at a time every shot a dead Chinaman. Even in the wimpy Liberal ruled socialist American states there are way more guns than people realize. they may not talk about them but they have them. If nobody has guns in Chicago why do a bunch of people get shot every weekend? Those are just the criminals. the good people don't shoot other people but don't kid yourself that they are unarmed.

Even if the US has a civil war, if we are attacked we have enough Nuclear missiles to wipe out another nation. The time of first world nations invading other first world nations is past. If you feel like you are losing you will launch and NOBODY wins.

What I expect if Biden wins is that the Chinese will take over most of the East. He will disable out already weak military and the Chinese will close off the China sea and possibly blockade places like Japan and Korea until they fall in line. Meanwhile Biden would be hiding in the basement trying to remember hi wifes name.

I'm honestly not sure that Biden has enough left for anyone to run him. He might agree to something and then not remember it a few hours later. If elected I think that one way or another he will vacate the office. What you are really electing for president is his Vice-president. I think that the Democratic Party has lost its mind!!! Do they REALLY want to put a Socialist in the White House? If this country goes down they will be the biggest losers.

ROFLOL! A few hours latter... You give the man way to much credit. LOL! From some recent interviews, I'm thinking 15 to 30 minutes MAX. And YES, the democratic party has lost it's mind. As well as it's ethics, morals, reasoning and it appears, soul.

Yep, you just said it, I've said it, others have said it. It's so in everyone's face that even the MSM propaganda machine has been forced to address the issue of the VP candidate being in reality the POTUS candidate. And it is now in everyone's face that the urban Social Democrat machines have now been assimilated into the international collectivist Borg. The socialist VP candidate is incompetent, but that doesn't matter, for she came out of academia and thus was born to become assimilated.

When I was young the Democratic Party was a Blue Collar, Farming, and other labor type people. Now it seems that if you are not Black or an illegal alien you are nothing to them. My Grandmother was the Democratic chairperson in her county. All of that stopped with LBJ. Since then the Democratic party has become more and more socialist and seem to want to destroy our country as a free and leading nation.

WV used to be a blue state. The first time I voted (started late) I voted for Bill Clinton. While he was campaigning I liked what he was saying. Mistake. Major liar. I'll never vote democrat again. I'm not wild about the republican party but things appear to be rigged so a third party can't get a foot hold at the national level. From my perspective, there seems to be a strong push to force socialism on America. I believe there is more than the democrats behind it. Some people forget, it was the republicans that have also taken away our constitutional rights. National Firearms act, Patriot act, etc. I'm starting to think like some others here.....were screwed.

well right now the chinese Navy just don't have the ships to get all 2.5 million men to US soil.
also it wouldn't be just 2.5 million chinese against 2.1 million american troops you'll have to account for up to 80 million firearm owners being in the mix.
then of course it wouldn't just be a conventional war either a number of nukes dropped on mainland china would have all
chinese troops wanting to go home.
what we do need to worry about are the 65 million libtards finally getting into firearms and coming after us good guys...

Hopefully I have my numbers right . Trump was saying today they caught the Democrats distributing about half a million mail out voting forms . The forms were fraudulent and dead people , cats and dogs were all voting Democrat . Like I said yesterday on the opening post there is not much danger of Biden getting into the White House legitimately but fraudulently that is a possibility . So within the next 6 months we are looking at a possible Civil War , Biden making good his deal with China and selling the United States or a foreign country stepping in to side with the Democrats in a Civil War. Today Trump specifically named possible countries attempting to taking over the U.S. as China , Russia and Iran . None of these countries have any love for the U.S. and could form a coalition . Prepping for such an scenario goes way beyond normal prepping but that is where my focus is beginning to center .

Chicago due to their no ID required voting rules often has precincts that receive 20% more votes than they have people registered to vote in that precinct. You KNOW which way it is going to vote and which way they will throw the state electoral votes. None of that crap works in Texas and even in the very liberal Houston Socialist Collective, they can't control the vote enough to do more than control local politics. THAT is why it is so important that we REMAIN the United States and never become the Republic Of America. In most of the liberal run states, the elections are jokes and not real elections based on the will of the majority of the citizens. There have been multiple attempts to split California. sadly if you don't live on the coast their government couldn't care less about you. Even illegal aliens get more help than they do. Their infrastructure is collapsing and the State government refuses to do anything for them. This will be the US if we ever allow them to make us the Republic of America. ONLY the big cities will have any say in the government.

    Good morning all,

Per the thread title: no disagreement.

Per the realistic theme; Less the Asian landmass, China does not develop land military for expeditionary forces.

Ref the US - China frictions, we are dealing with both economic warfare at low to medium levels and bio warfare at the low level - so far - and I hope it drops to zero.

If possible, try to retrieve a 28 Aug 18 New York Times article titled "China Withholds Samples of Avian Flu Virus" - subhead: "The CDC awaits specimens needed to develop vaccines for a quick-evolving disease".

Not too much is new under the sun.

Do remember the China is the US's second largest creditor with Japan being first.

Recommend not to hand wrestle on the mahjon table.

Control domestic US labor costs and field a modern military and the US can breath again. Otherwise, ... just don't hyperventilate too much.

China has the same problem that they have had for a long long time. WAY too many people and not enough food. They are a huge country as far as size but they lack the endless rolling fields of grain and pasture land that the US has. The greatest wealth of the US is the huge endless area that are suitable for agriculture. the truth is that most of the world right now can't grow enough food to feed their people and so have to buy and import it mostly from the US.

The US has placed a hangman's noose around their throat. I don't know why we did it to ourselves but that is one of the flaws of our system. Politicians are not elected because they are smart or even decent leaders. They base all of their decisions on how it will affect them in the next election and couldn't care less about what those decisions might cause in 30 or 40 years.

What did we do that is going to cause us a lot of very deadly problems? We fed the world almost for free in MASS. Places that had always had a periotic famine that killed a bunch of them no longer have that problem because we will run ships of food to them even if they have nothing to offer in trade. Now, I'm not an uncharitable person...BUT, if you can't feed your people and we offer to help you then you should NOT jump up your population TEN fold in 25 years making it impossible for you to feed your people even in the best years. We have allowed this in hell holes all over the planet. Even nations like China and Russia are going to have problems if our food shipments to them stop.

We are approaching a problem. the HUGE aquafer that we have been drawing on to water many of these huge farms is beginning to show signs of failing. the is water that was laid down millions of years ago and isn't greatly affected by rain or droughts. It is exactly like the oil. I remember when you couldn't throw a rock in East Texas and not hit an oil well. We acted as it would never run dry BUT it did. When the deep aquifers dry up a lot of those endless miles of waving grain will become once again a dusty near-desert. When our ability to feed the billions of starving people that now have populations that have skyrocketed it is going to be unimaginably bad.

The places like much of Europe, China, and Russia are not going to accept us cutting their shipments and places like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and much of Africa. are going to have deaths unlike ANYTHING ever seen in history. The world could lose 3 to 4 BILLION people in a year. There WILL be wars and EVERYONE is going to point their fingers at the US for not continuing to feed them so that they could continue to have a dozen kids none of which they can feed.

If you think about it a bit we have done the same thing in the US. People that can't or won't support themselves or their kids we put on welfare and they have as many kids as they can. I learned a LONG time ago that any time you help someone you need to expect that they are going to resent you for doing it and if you try to help them become self-supporting they will HATE you.

What we have happened in the US right now is the end result of what you get when you help people without making them act in a responsible manner. Good hardworking Black people have a justifiable reason to be mad as hell about how the cops treat them. They are not the ones that are trashing their cities though. The cops that have done those bad things will be locked up probably for the rest of their useful life. Some of the people though that they are protesting about deserved what they got. If you beat a cop up I hope he does shoot and kill you. If you shoot at a cop He NEEDS to shoot and kill you. NO MATTER WHAT COLOR YOUR SKIN IS!!

What is going on doesn't have anything to do with cops killing blacks though. It is all about animals being animals and doing what they always do if you don't force them to act in any other way but like animals. If Black lives matter why in the world are they killing each other more and more as the cops now give up and are just letting them go. White people very seldom statistically kill Black people. they for sure never kill the children. If a Black person is murdered it is nearly always a black on black murder. There is a reason for this and there are people that know how to fix it but it will never happen.

After a lot of thought over the last few months , my group have devised our planned response to an invading ground army . I am not that concerned about the communist from inside the U.S. and am quite ready to take on the trash such as b.l.m. or Antifa if they should decide to attack our premises . These whimpy and mostly city folks we would take on in a gun battle . Now a trained and military equipped invading force is another matter . If this should happen we will not be having to run around trying to form a plan as the army descends upon us . This site may be being monitored by our enemy's so I will not post our plan on here .

    Good morning Poltiregist,

Why use "may" as in "may be monitored". It is.

What if a foreign expeditionary force has domestic/local elements ?

Ironic isn't it that Johnson created The Great Society to create an addiction to government hand-outs among minorities and those with low work-ethic.

When the Western economies collapse, the needles will be pulled out of the veins of these addicts. Talk about super-violent pandemonium to follow!

    https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2020/10/12/pompeo-says-china-deployed-60000-soldiers-border-india/

"China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has “stacked 60,000 soldiers against the Indians in the north” of India, along the two countries’ Himalayan border, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Fox News on Friday.

"Pompeo’s statement came shortly after he completed a trip to Japan last week to meet with members of a new coalition of countries, including India, aimed at countering Chinese influence. He elaborated on the alliance in a separate interview with the Guy Benson Show on Friday.

“'I was in Japan on Tuesday [October 6]. … I was with my foreign minister counterparts from India, Australia, and Japan – a format that we call the Quad, four big democracies, four powerful economies, four nations, each of whom have real risk associated with the threats imposed – attempting to be imposed by the Chinese Communist Party. And they see it in their home countries too,' he explained.

“'The Indians are seeing 60,000 Chinese soldiers on their northern border,' Pompeo stated as an example.

India is the only other nation that actually has a population that is comparable to China's. Sad but true they both could use war to reduce their excess population numbers. They are both in the 1.4 to 1.5 BILLION levels of a population. The USA has a population of just under 340 million for example. Both nations have far exceeded the ability to feed their populations. If the US stumbles they will start starving almost overnight. Our amber waves of grain feed the world. The politics of hunger make for hard decisions and some strange bedfellows.

I am impressed with the above posts . Most people have their heads stuck in the sand . Through the Democrat party , Corrupt and bought news media , Antifa and the black lives matter idiots Communist China has done a probing action and saw a favorable outcome . Expect an accelerated thrust to gain control over the U.S. and its resources over the next months . --- Those that choose to stick their heads in the sand may have to watch their families starve with the knowledge they failed them .

I recently started viewing a YouTube video channel called "China Uncensored". This channel does pose some very interesting points and provides food for thought and analysis.

    Good morning Old Geezer,

This border skirmish is what we would call a "show the flag" event.

In practical terms, India and China cannot engage in national warfare. Both these nuclear-armed nations would decimate the concentrated urban populations with citizens not in the best of health. Diseases would be worse than radioactive fallout.

I wouldn't say Australia has a powerful economy. It's relatively small and too heavy on natural resources with only a couple of buyers. Japan has one of the world's most powerful - financial - sectors but it's overall economy is on a downward trajectory due to its declining population. Only South Korea has a worse population situation. It's my belief of a possibility that Germany becomes the number 3 economy of world replacing Japan.

    Will glance at link shortly.

    ......

Had read somewhere your mention of sleep cycle changes with much falling asleep. My sleep cycle is about the opposite. As long as still on planet, adjustments could work.

Well, on the bright side, if they nuke each other the U.S. will gain a hell of a lot more customer service jobs back...

All kidding aside, if the U.S. chooses to foolishly use India for our crap we purchase up to and including pharmaceuticals instead of China, we had better take a long hard look at the geo political theater of that area and wonder if it's really in our best interest to do so from a national security stand point. The answer is no and never and we should be making our own shit right here right now especially precious pharmaceuticals. I say this because I've seen my fair share of asinine talk that India should be making our stuff and not China and I'm like, are you stupid or just ignorant? I don't give a mouse fart less if India is our friend. From a national security standpoint it's utterly foolish, and it's true that a friend today can be your enemy tomorrow. China was.

Now using my foresight hat, if people vote with their ass when choosing Congressional House and Senate policy makers, they need to understand that their terrible low IQ used up God given one vote affects the purse. Anything money wise has to go through congress and that goes for military shit for maintenance and upgrades to the betterment of our national security. So with the election just a few weeks away, the people's decision could have a drastic effect on the purse and how we do things from a national security standpoint and now you add this geo political cluster in there on top of a pandemic and it's rife with calamity. Hopefully the common sense minded folk out number the myopic.

    Good morning F22,

Before China, it was the Soviet Union. Before USSR it was the Kaiser's Germany......

Why did the US companies start to offshore their production of eg phara, steel, cars, electronics, kitchen stuff, buttons, zippers, running out of space....... Glance at the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 and the Taft Hartley amendments of 1947. Taft Hartley passed over Truman's veto.

Labor economics is the driving force; not Karl Marx's ramblings on the imperial system and surplus capital.

I hols a photocopy of the CAB decision (of course it took White House and quiet Congressional approval) to effectively close down US air cargo operations in the western Pacific - and much of Scotland re Prestwick Airport, North Sea area.

Japan did not want Flying Tigers - world's largest and most modern all air cargo airline - from entering their market. Japan had political leverage over the US.

In my opinion it's principally three things:

    1) Clinton's posturing and cuddle hungry need to cozy up to the red serpent of hell and damnation, along with his pals.

    2) The universal truth that we are a fallen world and greed is a part of it.

    3) We, Americans love our cheap crap.

In my opinion, supply side economics will allow use to bring these jobs back along side the MASSIVE red tape bureaucratic regulation reduction. I think we somehow have got to get the carrot in front of the manufacturer with incentives. In the long run the GDP will grow, more people will have capital by which to have purchasing power and the tax dollars will flow in like no tomorrow. I guess you could call this Regannomics. I just believe in this because to me it's just down right common sense that you can't give the government money (trickle up) and expect a flourishing economy. That is just asinine beyond belief. We need to get our fiscal house in order otherwise we'll go the way of the Roman empire, and history has an uncanny way of repeating its self in the future.

When you have a country that artificially devaluates their currency, pays its workers on the cheap, and steels intellectual property, it makes it very hard to compete. And the president echoed exactly what I said.

I can tell you this about trade. Back in 7th grade world history, I learned in a nutshell that when civilizations had a lopsided trading system, that civilization failed. Trade needs to be reciprocal. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Also know that China has been in this Biz since the spice trade, the junk ship and silk road. They are masters in business it seems, but thankfully we have a president with a good amount of business acumen to get this job done and right. Hopefully.

Ain't this just lovely . Not just the United States but other countries as well tout the words freedom and justice to their citizens then buy cheap slave manufactured products from enslaved countries such as Communist China . Now ain't that the definition of a hypocrite ?

    Good afternoon F22,

Well prior to Clinton. FDR knew what was pending at Yalta.

With one big change, the world of today is about the same as when civilization covered much of the planet. The one big change was the Communist form of government with their security apparatus.

    Yes, greed is a component.

Yes, America's middle class likes to participate as if members of a midevil royal court. It's all based on future earnings and future subsidies from government.

Nothing can allow for economic growth alongside a huge bureaucracy. The bureaucracy absorbs too much wealth and not enough left for economic development.

GDP is really a useless number. It is mostly artificial. If, for example, the USG uses employees to dig a 100 mile ditch and then uses employees to fill in the 100 mile ditch, the costs of both projects are added to the GDP. It is meaningless.

Look for FOREX holdings - but this is as secret as nuclear technology.

The US in future terms like the Roman Empire ? The world's current economic engine is China.

Trade CANNOT be reciprocal. Like Secretary of State William Jennings Brian - a real socialist- said rhetorically, "How can we contract with socialist states ?"

Wealth was drained out of some of the losing nations of WWII. These vanquished nations got revived by the victors to serve a bulwalks and forward buffer zones against another anticipated conflict. The Marshall Plan was more a militaty budget than charity.

It wasn't just Germany, Japan and the Arab mess.

    France also.

Capitalism is in fact a doubled edged sword... On one side it works for you and on the other it can work against you. The key is to strike a balance between the opposing forces, i.e reciprocal trade...

Then he should have allowed Patton to go into China and then Russia like shit through a goose.. LOL

History has shown this to be true.

You can do the same in cryptocurrency and there's lots of it.

Did you know that we (the U.S.) send plane loads of cash to such places like China and the rest as part of the financial system? Pretty crazy.

In synopsis, Rome fell due to debt. We too are headed that way. https://www.usdebtclock.org/

    https://www.history.com/news/8-reasons-why-rome-fell

Also, the world's economic engine is not China. They don't employ the world they supply the world. The difference here is that capital flows withen one country by virtue of exports while the rest of the world sees a sharp decline in its own gross domestic product which turns into a domino effect in how much taxable income you achieve and the purchasing power of your labor force. So in a nutshell it doesn't matter how cheap China's products are, without robust domestic employment your citizens have no money on hand to buy anything without credit, and now we see a new problem that will default due to artificial gain. Both in the private sector and at the federal level. Debt is going to create recession part deux.

Really funny how it all works out because debt is what makes things go, but it's all about balance.

Wondering if any of you have heard the stores about China smuggling people dressed as civilians into Mexico with the help of the Cartels.

If there is any truth to this they will also be eventually smuggling arms..

I also think such an story would be "Not Covered" by most of the MSM.

Just wondering what some of you have heard..??

Makes me wonder about the purpose of the wall. But then again....a wall or line is to most of the military..only an engineering problem..

I have also been thinking for some time now about the phony gaslighting being done by our media and leadership about Russian Election Collusion..

I have been thinking for some time now that it is Chinese Election Collusion going back to the Clintons when there were stories about them owing the Chinese for Election monies..

I don't believe the Chinese ever stole any American Nuclear Weapons secrets...I believe they were rewards/payment for election/re election contributions..

    Good morning F22,

There must have been a major reason FDR did not allow Patton to drive toward the USSR (not China[PRC officiall formed Oct 1949 after atomic attacks]) Later, MacArthur had the prohibition of approaching China, Ridgeway also. There must have been a good reason for FDR, Truman and Ike to restrict US forces like this.

Yes, I know of "off book" disbursements to places like China and some other places I know about. These "pallet loads" of $$$ are big enough to say something is going on "off book".

Do clarify as to who/what is the world's economic engine. It used to be the US. Circa 1960 the US represented ~ 40% of global economic output. Today it is ~ 20%.

China has about a $700 Billion trade relationship with the US. China has about a $3 Trillion trade relationship with the rest of the world.

Didn't see it above - I don't think - but reciprocal trade won't and can't work. Pre COVID, in our former semi-normal times, how can, for example, a US flag airline like Delta buy fleet insurance and be competivive with their Chinese competitors ? China had/has a central buying company that negotiates and buys indurance for all it's airlines on the London market. Add the oil industry to this scenario - and the rest.

Capital flows are MUCH more than the small(er) import-export trade. An example of BIG capital flows is "F.D.I." - Foreign Direct Investment. Think of Boeing China, Inc. If Boeing didn't enter China, the company was about to join Pen Central RR in the history books with the American public given Amtrak.

Am not familiar with the US-China pharma arrangements but the USP agreement is small in the scheme of things.

If strong US economic growth rapidly begins now, interest rates will skyrocket and the cost of debt service will cause the deficit to explode.

Team Trump is properly steering our country safely through the rocks and shoals - and he is hated for doing this.

The US has a HUGE domestic population not supporting a strong US.

    Good afternoon Watcherchris,

Not commenting on part one of your above post. Don't believe they are military arriving here as camoflaged civilians. On non-web mediums mention to me "Williamsburg" and can say some stuff.

Re part two; Can't say it was a direct quid pro quo vote buying matter but will mention 2 examples. One involves China and other one involves both China and Indonesia.

It's been said that when former VP Al Gore - married in National Cathedral, D.C. - forgot if Episcopalian or Presbyterian - ... well he sought salvation ffrom a non European faith system. He went to Hacienda Heights, metro LA and attended Hsi Lai Temple. This eastern faith-based temple is different than the western faith-based denominations. The Temple GIVES tithes to penetants. Al Gore was given a shopping bag of cash. Various amounts reported. The theologian was a nice young lady and was said to be both a theologican of the Buddhist faith and a Col in PLA.

Leaving the pleasantries of Hacienda Heights and traveling to the National Monument run by the National Park Service ... it's formal name is Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. ......

The Park Service status closed the area to commercial development. It was reported that this area has high-quality minimum polluting coal. Thus, cannot be developed for domestic use or even for export.

Look up "Riady" and "Lippo Group". Their "Enviro-coal" from Kalimantan Island, Indonesia had no compdetition from US coal interests that couldn't touch thr coal in the National Monument area. This area is large than Yorktown Battlefield monument on the hill above the motel. So it's been said the Kalimantan coal was on long term contract to China for their Fujian Province - area on other site of Strait with Taiwan on east. So it's been said one of Her Excellency Hillary's old boss at Rose Law Firm had some business involvement.

I retired from the international business world. All the above might or might not be true.

If, however, it is true, closing down US coal interests for some foreign interests wasn't done for free.

    Feet Notes:

FN1: The Nephi Pasture Road in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument has a designated ATV road.

FN2; Our Forum Member Varuna can help us locate Kalimantan and help figure this stuff out.

FN3: I carry a picture of me at Fort Marcy Park, Northern Virginia Autonomous Oblast. This is the park where Vince Foster passed away.

The answer to the question of why Patton was not allowed to roll on into Russia and head for Moscow was actually very simple. The American people were TIRED of war and in no way were we prepared for the sort of war that would have been. Hitler tried with one of the finest military armies of that time. The Russian people with the help of the Russian winter wiped them out. The Germans couldn't keep their machines operating and their troops were freezing to death. I'm not sure that we would have done much better.

The big thing though was that we as a people were tired. I had a friend that was in the reserves and when Japan hit us on December 7th he was called up and shipped out on December the 8th! He fought in the European theater and came up through North Africa and then was part of the invasion of Italy and then into Germany from the South. When the war was over he came home. When he left his wife was pregnant in her first trimester. When he landed in New York he called home and his son that he had never seen answered the phone. He was an officer and had been a part of those that stayed in Germany through the Nuremberg Trials.

Our economy had been totally converted to military footing and in some areas, they had returned to plowing with mules because there were no parts and no mechanics to keep the tractors running. A war with Russia would have been horrific and cost in lives, supplies and time might have crippled us. Russia was a much bigger country than Germany with a LOT more people that would have been defending their homes. If we bogged down as the Germans did and got caught by the winter we could have easily been on the losing end of that deal and without the US as a balance Russia might have been worse for Europe than the Germans were.

The same was true to some extent with Mac Arthur and China. We had a superior military compared to ChinaBUT they had a billion people that they could have put in the field. To beat them we would probably have had to Nuke them several times and that was something that they wisely didn't want to do. Honestly, the world is a better place when there are checks and balances. The fact that we all know that NOBODY will win an all-out war has limited us to our constant bickering in places like Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East and we have avoided any direct confrontation with each other.

I don't like the idea of a one-world government. Even if it was run by the US and its allies that is just too much power in too few hands.

Chris, The Mexican cartels didn't get 12.7mm machine guns and RPG's from a local gun store. China already supplies the Mexican Army, so shipments placed in storage aren't even out of the ordinary. Mexico has over 1000 Chinese tanks in it's military currently. Some intelligence reports have indicated that Mexico is inclined to cooperate with the Chinese and may even be considering allowing the Chinese land for a military base.

The world is a dangerous place.

Probably something Congress needs to take up I reckon.

Not if China has their say in how our Pharmacopeia should or shouldn't be. I'm principally thinking about the BS about dosages and food safety, etc as it pertains to big Pharma for profits and other shenanigans. Of course this could be all a bunch of conspiratorial nonsense, but I've leaned in life that truth is often stranger than fiction and the fact greed is a MASSIVE part of this fallen world.

I don't think it will rapid but gradual. That's only if after Trump another common sense minded person takes the helm in 2024. It really all boils down to education among the masses and our pubic school systems which trickle to the polls. The Dems know this so they brain wash freedom K-12 and onward as we already know.

It's a government by the people and for the people, but educational institutions and the press our fucking shit up to put it bluntly.

Take it from a former mafia guy.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...as-covert-activities-biggest-long-term-threat

Note that in America during the 1990s, NORINCO was smuggling arms through a port in California (Clinton deal to reopen that port in the first place) to send down to Mexico City where the communist party has its headquarters. NORINCO got a shipment busted by the U.S. Customs Dept (who may not have known that the port was a protected port by the White House; FBI sure kept the place hush-hush). Within three months Chinese arms executives were back in the White House because they were critical financiers of the Clintons' political campaigning. Clinton did some Chinese firearm-banning to keep the sheeple happy; deeply tawdry, hypocrisy to the max.

    Good afternoon F22,

I believe the following phrases, when together, are contradictory: "education among the masses" with "our public school systems".

I'm prepared to argue, with examples, that the USG and the political subdivisions are no longer "by the people".
