    I'm posting it because I just received from DHS their info on new/current helmet that has ballistic protection. Ballistic protection advantageous when being shot at. Also just received 2 emails from colleagues discussing the new helmet.

    Yes: $$$.

    Still, it's better to pay for premier equipment than to pay for non-premier medical care. if available.
