I picked up a book called Flathead and Spooneys by Jens Lund. It's a book about fishing for a living in the Ohio river valley. It talks about hoop net fishing, gill nets, trotlines, slat traps, musseling, pearl hunting etc. It's a bit of history book as well but if old time commercial fishing is your thing this book is chock full of info.
A LOT of those techniques are VERY pertinent to any Prepper who intends to eat fish as part of there plan. Dale
