We have several sewing machines. One electric, one electric one that I converted to foot power by utilising an old Singer Sewing Foot Treadle base & fitting a pulley on the Elner sewing machine. The other one was again another Singer sewing machine on a treadle base, so I decided to convert it into a grinder.
I had an old electric grinder that no longer worked properly. I stripped it down, cut off the guards, fitted the pulley from the sewing machine in place of one of the grinding stones, & attached it to the sewing machine base.
