    It is 166 acres in the hills of Tennessee. :) Lot's of work to do before it is self-sustaining.

    Is there timber, water on the land? 166 acres is a lot. Are you planning on doing a homestead or just for yourself?

    It is in the hills of TN, so most of it his mountain terrain. But it has plenty of timber, a water source, and good farming soil. My husband and I bought it with his brother and wife. The plan is for it to sustain both of our families.
